T.D Jakes’ Daughter, Sarah Henson Ending 4 Year Marriage
Last week it was reported that the youngest daughter of mega church Pastor T.D. Jakes was divorcing her husband — a former NFL football player — after 4 years of marriage.
Robert Henson is a former linebacker for the Washington Redskins. The couple met when Sarah Henson was just 19. At that age it’s almost impossible to see through the dopamine haze.
It’s too bad Sarah Henson’s parents didn’t sit her down and explain to her that marrying a NFL player was probably not a smart move.
Women like Sarah who marry good looking, hunky NFL players are setting themselves up for failure. That is because there are many unscrupulous (and desperate) women out there who can’t or won’t respect his marital vows. A man is going to be a man when his woman isn’t around. You stack the deck against yourself when you marry a man who is a woman magnet. This is just common sense.
But once the dopamine cleared, Sarah was able to see that she and Robert were not compatible. The ingredients for a good marriage were never present: respect, responsibility, honesty, maturity and love comes after the dopamine has faded.
Why can’t women have patience and wait for love?

If my daughter walked in and told me she was marrying s professional athlete I would do the Kris Jenner and make sure if it didn’t work out she would be well compensated for her wasted time. He is a professional athlete, graduated college and a Christian- men are men Miss Sandra sometimes you wait out the foolishness or go about your merry way.

I live in Detroit, The Westin, Doubletree, RenCen(kinda pricey)and Marriott. These all are located downtown, so there wouldn’t be a big commute to the game. I hope that helps!
