Last night BET aired the pre-recorded 2012 Hip Hop Awards featuring the much-anticipated Cyphers — today’s hottest rappers taking turns freestyling. The Hip Hop Awards took place in Atlanta 2 weeks ago. T.I. and the Grand Hustle All-Stars: Trae The Truth, Chip, B.o.B., and Iggy Azalea kick off the BET Cyphers after the break.

It was alright. But they gave out what like 5 awards during a 2 hour show? They should scrap the ‘awards’ title and do a show of nothing but cyphers. That was the only reason I and most folks I know watched. And some of the cyphers didn’t even hold my attention.
NAIJA- I was looking like WTH wrong with her. I get her past, but she was mad her adopted mom was drinking, not DRUNK. I told hubby if that’s the case I wouldn’t even watch my own kids. Plenty of Ted I have wine with dinner.

Since folks are commenting on Keyshia’s show I guess I’ll chime in. I was hoping to get a post. I loved the show. I am instantly in love with Boobie. He is super sensitive and the opposite of Keyshia. Dare I say he may be too good for her? Hopefully he can help her heal. I totally got where she was coming from last night with mommy. If she said she would babysit then she should have done that. At no time should Frankie’s crazy azz have been in the ocean with that child. The problem is if she was gonna play nanny that meant she would not have been able to enjoy the festivities. They should have brought a nanny.

Bird- The adopted mom was supposed to watch the little boy. My husband and I both agreed if she can afford to fly all them people out there, fly a hair stylist out there, she could have gotten a nanny for the festivities. so did ya’ll catch the premiere of Keyshia & Daniel. The show is gonna grow on me I think. Let me say Frankie looks good…she gained weight and looked like a mom for the 1st time. Keyshia gots some issues going on…not sure what those are yet. Boobie don’t talk to well…he stumbles when he talks. His granddad needs some teeth if he gonna be on national tv though. sometimes when a person has gone through alot they find it difficult to lighten up. Does she even now who her father is? I feel there is still alot of pinned up anger towards Frankie and that has not really been addressed as far as counseling not associated with a show. She, her siblings and Frankie need some behind closed doors counseling.

NAIJA- The main part was boring, so I will just get to the Rusty part. He was supposed to pick up Rusty the night before but changes it to the next day. He comes two hours late. Rusty mad. He say he not going. Sharon tells the dad Rusty is an abandoned child, you can’t be late. The daddy was like he has to go. Sharon said how come your family members have not called social services about Rusty. He hasn’t told them about Rusty. His fiance got money, so he wants to try it out with Rusty. Rusty decides to go, he knows the dad wants something. At the end of the show, Sharon comes in and Rusty backpack is there. She knocks on door, he say we will talk tomorrow, he comes out, face beat up. The fiance was asking about his past, so he told them about the gay prositution. The dad takes him outside and was like what’s up. Rusty said he didn’t care what they thought. That;’s when he got hit. Sharon was pissed. She was like be lucky I dont go over there and shoot him in the head. She takes pictures and it goes off.

This is what I remember and love about rap, the FLOW & Base. They all were lyrical talents performing. (except for that IZZY chick, not feeling her for some reason. maybe it’s the dialect that sounds too faux)
