R&B Diva Keyshia Cole is set to release her fifth studio project after numerous delays. Going back to her roots on Woman To Woman, the mother of one crafted tracks about relationship issues that many women can relate to.

Cole, 31, is candid about her own relationship troubles with husband Daniel Gibson, 26. The couple sought marriage counseling when Gibson could no longer tolerate Cole's mood swings. It was Gibson's decision to seek therapy to save his marriage. Cole's album track list reflects the struggles that most young couples experience once the dopamine fades.

Cole says, “This album is not about me, the album is about the fans that really want to hear things that help them and give them inspiration to get over dudes that do them wrong.”

Woman to Woman is set for a November 19 release. See the tracklist below.

Musician and con artist Wyclef Jean thinks he isn't getting enough of the right kind of attention. So he tweeted this pic of his birthday present to himself, a brand new Ducati motorcycle. Jean recently turned 43, just a month after he shut down his Yele Haiti foundation -- after misappropriating $16 million in donations for victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Of course we tried to warn donors that Jean is shady, but no one listened. The NY Times wrote an article detailing Jean's massive con scheme to line his own pockets. Diaoly Estimé, who runs an orphanage in Haiti, told reporters, “If I had depended on Yéle, these kids would all be dead by now.”

Director/playwright Tyler Perry covers Men's Health magazine on news stands now. Perry, who detours from his safety zone to star as an action hero in his newest movie 'Alex Cross,' says losing weight gave him a new sense of confidence that he never had before.

"I feel like it’s okay to be thought of as sexy," says the 43-year-old New Orleans native.

On shedding 30 pounds for his ‘Alex Cross’ role:
"I walk into a room with a lot more confidence. All my life I’ve tried to hide my height. I was taller than everybody else and stood out, so I would slouch and try to hide it. But with what I’ve been able to do with my body, I’m owning it. I’m standing up when I walk into a room. Now, I feel like it’s okay to be thought of as sexy.”

Gay men everywhere should be proud that Mr. Perry is openly accepting his sexiness. If I didn't know any better I would think a surprise announcement is coming soon!

  • Earlier I posted an email from Cheryl Redmond, the mother of Zeboe Pullins' youngest children. Cheryl is a great example of a woman who holds her family together and stands by her man through thick and thin.

But some women marry men for all the wrong reasons.

Without singling out Tamar Braxton, some women confuse love for neediness. As children they didn't have a healthy, supportive relationship with their fathers, so they grow up looking for men to fulfill their unrealistic needs. These women are beautiful, seductive, lovable, possessive, and eventually they become very demanding.

When these women find men like Vince (who has issues of their own), they form a sometimes destructive relationship that doesn't benefit either of them spiritually or mentally.

R&B singer Keyshia Cole, says marriage counseling works.

According to Eurweb.com, Cole's husband, Daniel Gibson "was at first a bit hesitant to seek professional therapy for their marriage, but over time, he realized it was necessary."

What's not surprising to me is that Cole and Gibson sought marriage counseling in the first place.

Cole, 31, and Gibson, 26, met and began dating in 2009. They wed in an intimate ceremony on May 21, 2011 -- a year after their first child, Daniel Hiram Gibson, Jr., was born.

3 years is about right for Dopamine (which sparked their strong sexual attraction to each other) to begin to fade. Young people who don't understand how dopamine (and other brain neurotransmitters) works on sexual relationships falsely assume that their initial strong sexual attraction to each other must be love. It is not.

So when the dopamine begins to fade, these young people falsely believe that the "love" they once shared is now gone.

Comments Off on Zeboe Pullins, Zonnique’s Dad, Speaks Out

Last night I spoke briefly by phone with Zeboe Pullins, the father of Tameka "Tiny" Harris' 16-year-old daughter, Zonnique "Niq" Pullins. Zeboe called me to set the record straight about his relationship with his daughter, whom he loves dearly.

I can always tell which direction a conversation is going in when it starts off with "Look here miss lady..."

But Mr. Zeboe was charming, sincere and straight to the point. He chose his words carefully -- explaining that he and I are "from different worlds." (I took that to mean he doesn't read the blogs.)

Zeboe respectfully requested that his name be left out of topics of conversations on the blog, and that he didn't have anything to prove to my readers.
