In a rare interview with CNN's Piers Morgan back in July, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Vick whined that he wanted to give his kids a dog.

In 2007, Vick, 32, pleaded guilty to killing at least 8 dogs by electrocution and hanging for performing poorly during illegal dog fights. Vick served less than 2 years in federal prison for dog fighting. He was released from prison in 2009, making him eligible to resume his professional football career.

On Tuesday, Vick tweeted a seemingly innocent photo of himself studying game film on an iPad while his young daughter did her homework next to him. "We working" read the caption under the photo.

Vick blurred out the content on his iPad screen before tweeting the pic, but he forgot to blur out the open box of Milk Bone dog biscuits on the kitchen table next to his daughter's dog folder.

That is how the general public learned that Vick -- a convicted dog killer -- owned a dog.

Beyonce will not be starring in Clint Eastwood's remake of 'A Star Is Born' -- apparently because the director dissed Barack Obama during the Republican National Convention.

Speaking to an empty stool onstage, which symbolized Obama's presidency, Eastwood said: "So, Mr. President…how do you handle promises that you made when you're running for election and what do you say to people?

Eastwood endorsed Obama's challenger Mitt Romney for president -- which obviously didn't sit well with Beyonce, who cherishes Obama.

Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles, 26, attended the official debut party for 'Absolut Tune' vodka held at The Standard Hotel in New York City Tuesday. Solo's style game is usually on point, but the caked on foundation and her see-through frock exposing her left breast is a bit much. I would expect this sort of Fashion Fail from her sister, not from Solange. She gets points for her Roman sandals, though.

Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, 19, is set to star in her own reality TV show titled "The Houstons On Our Own," on Lifetime television on Oct. 24. The reality show will follow Bobbi Kristina's life after Whitney's sudden death of an accidental drowning earlier this year.

Also appearing in the program is Bobbi K.'s longtime boyfriend, Nick Gordon; her grandmother, Cissy Houston, Pat Houston, who is married to Whitney Houston's brother, Gary; and Pat's daughter. According to a source close to the show's production company, Whitney never officially adopted Nick Gordon as her son, which dispels the stories about Bobbi K. and Nick engaging in an incestuous relationship.

Pat Houston described the reality show in a statement released earlier this year: "I have been working with Simmons-Shelley over the past few years developing a project suitable for myself and our family," Pat Houston said. "The unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show. However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward."

Bobbi Kristina made her acting debut on Tyler Perry's 'For Better or Worse' in July.

Watch the sneak peak of 'Houston's On Our Own' after the break.

Elizabeth Escalona, a mother of five, is expected to be sentenced today after pleading guilty to gluing her 2-year-old daughter's hands to a wall. Escalona, 23, of Dallas, Texas, pleaded guilty on July 12 to first degree injury to a child.

Prosecutors will ask a Dallas County judge to impose a sentence of 45 years "so she will not cause any more harm to her children," said Dallas County district attorney’s office spokeswoman Debbie Denmon.

“The entire picture was very shocking,” said Dr. Amy Barton, a child abuse pediatrician who treated Jocelyn Cedillo at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

“I see a lot of children, and this was one of the most shocking cases that I have seen," said Dr. Barton, choking back tears during her testimony on Monday.

Escalona, who was pregnant at the time, is charged with beating and kicking the toddler during a potty training session. Escalona admitted she used a strong adhesive to glue the little girl's hands to a wall. The child urinated on herself during the assault.
