Was Diane Sawyer Drunk On Election Night?
It seems that ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer got her drink on early in celebration of President Obama’s narrow win over Mitt Romney last night.
The usually stoic, straight-laced Sawyer spoke slowly, slurred her words, and appeared to swoon in euphoria under the hot studio lights. In other words, Sawyer was feeling no pain!
Sawyer’s Twitter followers were relentless in their tweets on her tipsy condition.
“OK,” she said at one point around 10 p.m. ET, “I wanna — can we have our music, because this is another big one here? Minnesota, we’re ready to project Minnesota, rrright now. … Well, tonight we know that President Barack has won Minnesota,” she said.

“A bit tipsy,” “hammered” or “on pain killers, muscle relaxers, benzos or some combination” were among the jeering explanations. Another likened it to an episode of HBO’s drama “The Newsroom,” where Will McAvoy, the fictitious anchorman, had eaten a couple of pot brownies before unexpectedly being summoned to his anchor desk to report a news story.
“Bad night for Romney,” one tweeter summed up. “Worse night for Diane Sawyer?”

My husband watched w/his mom. He called me and was talking about the numbers. I said what channel are you watching?. It was CNN(their numbers were all wrong). I told him to change to ABC. I too love Diane.
Foxnews was pissin me off so bad last night. They were sayin Barack won the election and sayin that it is a gloomy moment not happy becuz of the economy. They were overdosing on haterade. I had to change the channel. How could they be so biased. I though Sandra was commentating for them!!!
