One Instagram post almost ends Fantasia’s career

Fantasia gay marriage

Last night singer Fantasia got all philosophical with the New Year approaching. She took to her Instagram page and denounced weed smoking and diverse Biblical sins such as gay marriage. The response from ‘Tasia’s followers were swift — and the message was quickly deleted.

In it’s place, ‘Tasia posted an apology to her gay fans, while blaming her Instagram followers for misinterpreting what she wrote. She captioned the message: “Sometimes you have to Lose to Win Again.”

Fantasia forgot that she can’t voice her personal opinions about the gays or gay marriage if she expects to have a successful career. Below is Fantasia’s attempt at an apology.

Looks like Washington is close to a fiscal cliff deal. Technically, they have until noon on the 3rd to vote for and pass a deal. The 3rd is when new members take over and they will have to start over again and we will have to pay until they figure things out. Obama was a pimp in his speech today. I think it is fair for Obama to up the pay amount to those over 450K instead of 250K. 250K is not a lot of money here in Cali. It is unfair to lump everyone at a certain amount in the same category across the country.

Exactly @ OTB! Last year when she friended me on FB, I was happy to hear from her thinking all was well. I was a bit freaked out when she started interogating me about her husband. It kind of felt like he was beside her telling her what to type. It also felt this way when my BFF was texting me…like he was there coaxing her, too. The only way I remembered him, was because of his nickname and the fact that the guy he used to hang out with is now engaged to my sister (small town…LOL!). But I remembered his brother moreso than him because his brother was more aggressive with me. I don’t like aggressive men, so his brother just irked me.

I just think that the curiosity is getting the best of me. I am flattered and that needs to be the end of it. Men are hunters and they always want to claim their prey. I am pretty sure that this man would not appreciate me even if things turned out differently. His second wife is a darling…she really is…so I know she is feeling some kind of way even if she is just saying, “It doesn’t bother me…that was before my time.” I do feel bad for her and perhaps because of my own broken situation (where I felt powerless) I am feeling a bit of “power” just thinking about what I can potentially control in someone else’s life. Ugh!

I am serious, just pray for me to have a sound mind. It is not easy and I know I joke around a lot but I am embarrassed to share with friends and family (some of whom are ractchet) about my feelings because everyone always expects me to have all of the answers. And if I go to them, it would seem as though I keep failing in the relationship department…like I can never get that right even though every other area of my life is gelling.

What I appreciate about Sandra is that on many popular subjects, she will take the less-popular stance, and she always stands by her position. And I like exposing myself to conversation that isn’t necessarily of my same position because it gives me the opportunity to look at a topic from another persons point of view. I am so tired of people thinking that folks have to apologize to the gay community if they dont support their lifestyle, I understand she has supporters from them but all at the same time she is a person the same God made her made them and with that said nobody should apologize for what they believe regardless of their job title.
