Atlanta Rapper, Yung Teddy, Shot and Killed
Up-and-coming Atlanta rapper Yung Teddy was found shot to death in his Austell, GA home Wednesday night, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Police responding to a report of shots fired found the 23-year-old rapper, real name Justin Mitchell, deceased around 10:18 p.m.
According to a bio on his Myspace page, Yung Teddy has been in the rap game since the age of 10. His first mixtape, “Almost Famous”, was released summer 2006.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects who may be involved in the shooting. According to the AJC, “the first [suspect] is described as a black man with a thin build, between 20 and 23 years old, and about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, dark pants and a black beanie hat. He was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is a black man, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 tall. He was last seen wearing a multicolored beanie hat and a navy blue bandana covering his face.”
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call police at 770-499-3945.

If he lived like his song list then maybe this tragedy is no surprise to the people who knew him but, if this was all in entertainment and he was shot down only based on what he rapped about, then this is sad. Some rappers start killing real life people in their lyrics. Was he threatening people in his raps? I’ve never heard of dude but, you know these young rappers need to watch what they say in their raps because they don’t have a jet to fly out of their hood or money for security to protect them or the street cred to keep them alive. Outside of him being a rapper, how he lived might be a hint in to why he died. He may of kept really bad company around him.

I do believe some folks are simply expressing themselves creatively. But then there are some who are actually living what they are rapping about. And if you are one of those individuals, do not be surprised if your life ends in such a manner.
