Sunday's fiasco at a presidential Inauguration event must have seemed like shades of Desiree Rogers to the Obama administration.
If you recall, Obama's attention-seeking Social Secretary Desiree Rogers resigned her post after an uninvited couple crashed a White House event and got close enough to the president to take a picture with him.
On Sunday, rapper Lupe Fiasco -- who has sharply criticized Obama in the past -- was kicked off the stage during an anti-Obama rant at the StartUp RockOn Inauguration Celebration at the Hamilton Live.
Foreign policy reporter Josh Rogin live-tweeted the bizarre scene as it unfolded before him.
First the stage lights were cut, then Fiasco's microphone (and the stand that it was attached to) disappeared -- but none of that deterred him any. Fiasco continued to rap as the live band played on. As the crowd cheered him on, the 31-year-old rapper was quickly surrounded and dragged off the stage by Obama's burly Secret Service agents who couldn't care less about free speech under Big Brother [Obama]'s watch.
Maybe the Obama administration forgot about that interview that Fiasco did with MTV in which he referred to Obama as the "biggest terrorist ... in the United States of America”?
Someone's head will roll after this latest fiasco.
