Celebs Out & About: Janet Jackson and Wissam al Mana
Janet Jackson and her husband Wissam al Mana attended the Giorgio Armani fashion show during Milan Fashion Week on Monday (February 25) in Milan, Italy. Jackson announced her secret nuptials yesterday. At least she did it the right way by waiting until the Dopamine phase was over, and making sure it was really Love. Jackson has said “I do” 3 times now. I hope this marriage works out for her.

Really? What happ’d? Thats how we made it thorugh the summer, box braids. Full rinse and/or lots of condish in a spritz before you go in, and wash coming out. Then again, they are teens and werent concerned with slick edges and the like. They just grab that Jam.

My kids started out in private schools. I worked 2.5 jobs to make it happen. But when it became too much for me financially, guess where they went…public school. And they still make scholar roll. Still well rounded. Still going to college. So as much as I loved being able to say my kids were in private school at the end of the day school is school. What matters is what you instill in the child at home.

If anybody has ever read anything I’ve fonted, then you’d know that I always give back to others. I am sooo blessed and highly favored it’s scary. Sometimes I wonder why. God blesses me above and beyond so I made it my life goal to help others. GAT DAMN!!!!!! Let me let you in on a lil secret about Tarje’. Scoot closer so can’t nobody hear……I found a purse there and only paid 3.05 for it. We happen to be the same age and I understand a lot of the things you say on this blog but, I have experienced life differently than you have so I MAY have a broader view when it comes to certain things. I simply shared the advice my mom gave me. She is an educated woman who has experienced more than you sooooo that advice should be helpful. I pray the lord continues to shower you with blessings.

Me saying that to @Ms. VA didnt have anything to do with how she should feel about working to provide that, but that the ULTERIOR for her was so she could SAY they went to private school. In effect not really caring about the ed..but about the prestige that is implied with attending private school.
I think you “had misconstruedededed” what I had said Ma’am. The ultimate reason for putting my kids in private school was becaus, at the time, I thought that it would be better for them than public. And since I was working hard and paying that tuition I took pride in telling people that they were in private school. But did I work 2.5 jobs just to SAY they were in private school? 
Shyttt I coulda SAID IT either way. 
And truth be told, I do feel like it provided a good base for them. So when my baby turns 4 later this year, they’ll be starting out in private school too. Probably til about 3rd or 4th grade.

OH! Imma jump right in to the mess since I am feeling good today.
So, my daughter was in private school for pre-school and K. It prepped her big time for 1st grade.. reading, math and all that. So, I decide to put her in public school for 1st grade to see how she would do (and that 15K/year was f*cking with me). Well, we live a pretty good school district and I notice that she is learning more socially in public school and is keeping up with the academics just fine… not because she went to private school before but because her dad and I make sure we are on top of what she needs to be learning and monitor her homework and computer learning and all that other jazzzz.
If you are a good parent and your child has a good educational support system at home, they can be going to the school in the sky and do just fine in life. Sometimes, a child’s biggest problem isn’t the type of school they go to but, what type of home they are brought up in.
Reading is Fundamental.
oh and… my daughter is split during the week between her dad and I so, it’s not like she is living in the brady bunch house. We do the best we can with the situation we are in.

I hate when folks feel the need to name you what THEY want b/c THEY can’t get it right. I had to KEEP correcting some lady who felt the need to “name me” what she saw fit b/c she was too lazy to get it right. I gave her the shortened version of it to make it easier for her to pronounce. She still wanted to add to and take away from it. Like I told her “I bet when you go to your higher ups asking for money for your program, you get THEIR names right. You can just call me by my WHOLE name then if the shortened version it too complicated for you to pronounce.”….

Yup. If your child is diagnosed with ADHD or bipolar disorder you can get a disability check. The catch is, you put them on the meds and they become dependent. So, like you said, when they’re not medicated they are hell on wheels.

To help you with your analysis since you don’t really “know” me, I’ve taken the liberty of supplying you with some background information. I’ve worked in the public sector and social service organizations. I perform regular volunteer work (and donate MY earnings)including but not limited to the Red Cross, Goodwill Easter Seals, Homeless Coalitions in Alabama and Mississippi, etc…
My thought process is simple. I’ve been blessed, so I bless others b/c I know that everything you have can be taken away in the blink of an eye. My dad’s a minister so I have a strong faith and good teaching. I’ve been active in my church since a child so I’ve always been in an authoritative position. I’m working on my superiority complex issues. I am a work in progress.
I’m young yes and I may be naïve, yes but I haven’t had deal with some of the unnecessary BS, stress and drama that others have which may have caused them to mature a lot faster but at the same time, gaining life experiences.
