One of my loyals readers seems to think that I am homophobic because I’m very outspoken about certain issues. But nothing could be further from the truth. Read the email after the break.

Good morning, Sandra

I wish I could comment on your blog (but I have no idea how to register lol) anyways, the shade you throw at some celebrities is what keeps me coming to your site. Your commentary literally has me laughing like crazy at times HOWEVER I’ve noticed for a while now that when you make posts about gay men, they always seem to have an underlying, homophobic vibe to them. Now, as a gay man, I get that lesbians throw shade at us gays because we should “man up” or that we’re too promiscuous, but it’s highly offensive to read how blatantly homophobic a LESBIAN (who is considered just as gay) is towards her own kind. It’s very shocking, and confusing above all, to know that someone with so much power on the internet uses her platform for the defamation of gay men. Now, of course I can’t tell you how to run your blog, but I just wanted to know why you have so much bias towards gay men? News flash. Some gay men are like me. Religious, loved by the Lord (though
everyone is lol) and far from promiscuous. I guess, as I said before, I just want to know why you dislike us gay men so much. On top of that, some of your Sandraites make very homophobic statements, and you, as a lesbian, don’t even defend your integrity and pride. I mean, I hate the gay COMMUNITY (due to the cattiness of the men, promiscuity, general feeling of malaise from one gay outside of the club to another), but I would NEVER make blanket terms against EVERY gay man. Anyways, Sandra, I enjoy your blog, but am so disheartened by the anti-gay posts (not because of the fact of “scientific discoveries” but because of your sometimes covert, sometimes overt homophobic commentary). Have a blessed day, Sandra!

Faithfully yours,
Mr. Patterson
