The portly rapper entered the courtroom wearing a grey prison-issued jumpsuit and handcuffs. He said nothing as he stood before the judge.

The victim told Channel 2 Action News that Davis hit him in the head with a bottle after he asked the star for a photo.

“I’m in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it okay?” he said he asked a security guard.

“I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle,” the solder told Channel 2. He said his head wound required 10 stitches to close.

Gucci Mane’s upcoming nightclub appearances have been cancelled. The rapper has a long history of criminal offenses including a 2005 shooting that left a 27-year-old man dead. Murder charges against the rapper were dropped in that case.
