Miami Heat lose to Chicago Bulls

The world champions Miami Heat stumbled in a hard-fought loss against the hardscrabble Chicago Bulls in Chicago Wednesday night. The Bulls, led by Luol Deng’s 26 points, shredded the Miami Heat’s defense to snap the Heat’s win streak at 27 games. The Heat, who hold the record for the 2nd longest winning streak in NBA history, last lost a game in Indiana on February 1st.

“It really doesn’t matter. I’m glad it’s over,” said Heat star guard Dwyane Wade, referring to the win streak.

Gucci Mane Denied Bond

Rapper Gucci Mane turned himself in to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night, after he learned there was a warrant out for his arrest.

Gucci, whose real name is Radric Davis, 33, is accused of hitting a soldier over the head with a champagne bottle during a scuffle at Atlanta’s Harlem Nightclub on March 16.

Davis was charged with aggravated assault and ordered held without bond by a Fulton County magistrate Wednesday morning. his next court date is April 10.

CBS Cancels Judge Joe Brown

CBS has canned Judge Joe Brown, the longest-running courtroom TV series featuring a black judge.

The popular series helmed by outspoken real-life judge Joe Brown was cancelled after salary negotiations broke down, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“We would like to thank Joe for 15 great years, as well as executive producer John Terenzio and the entire staff for all their hard work and dedication to the show,” CBS Television Distribution said in a statement on Tuesday.

Brown reportedly earned $20 million a year, but CTD wanted to cut his salary due to declining ratings of the show.

‘Judge Joe Brown’ was down 17 percent in the February sweeps, THR reports.

    Supposedly, Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Porsha Williams Stewart wasn’t aware that her former NFL husband filed for divorce until she read it on the blogs.

    According to The Atlanta Journal-Consitution, Koprdell Stewart filed the divorce papers in Fulton County Court on Marc 22 (just in time to be featured in an upcoming episode of the show).

    He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. And he made sure to mention that Porsha was a cast member on Real Housewives of Atlanta.
