Jay Z and Liv

Singer Beyonce says she rode her bike to the Barclays center for the final concert of her 3-night stand at the home of the Brooklyn Nets in Brooklyn on Monday.

The 31-year-old mother-of-1 wrote “I biked to Barclays for my last show in Brooklyn!” If we’re to believe Beyonce, she supposedly biked the grueling 3-mile trip from her home, through congested streets and across the Brooklyn bridge to the Barclays Center.

Beyonce’s husband, aging rapper Jay Z, 44, strolled onstage to steal her spotlight as she sang “Bow Down”. Then Beyonce sang background for Jay as he rapped his single “Tom Ford” before kissing him on the cheek. The couple slow danced near the side of the stage then Jay Z waved goodbye.

Beyonce is apparently ignoring the latest round of allegations against her husband for cheating with women who look suspiciously like Bey.

Pool entrapment law

On Monday, singer Usher Raymond’s 5-year-old son, Usher Raymond V, almost became another tragic pool drain statistic.

The boy was playing in the pool with his aunt when his arm became caught in the pool’s drain. His aunt, a nanny, and a housekeeper were unsuccessful in pulling the boy from the drain.

Sound technician Eugene Stachurski, who was installing AV equipment in the house, heard the women’s screams and dived into the pool. Stachurski pulled the boy from the drain and performed CPR on him. CNN reports that the child was “conscious, alert and breathing” when an ambulance transported him to a hospital. He was kept overnight for observation.

“My son is OK, but I have no further comment at this time,” the boy’s mother Tameka Foster told CNN Tuesday. She answered “I have no comment” when asked about media reports that her lawyer filed an emergency injunction to remove her two sons from Usher’s care on Tuesday.

Usher and Tameka were lucky. Their son was saved by a quick thinking contractor. But an inexpensive pool drain cover could have prevented the near-tragedy from happening.

Don Ennis

This story is very confusing, so read slowly. An ABC News editor who claimed to be a female trapped in a male’s body now says he was mistaken. Don Ennis lived his life as a female for three months. He split from his wife of 17 years and asked his ABC News colleagues to refer to him as Dawn.

But now, according to a report in the NY Post, Ennis suffered from a 2-day bout of amnesia that made him realize he wants to live life as a man again.

Ennis explained his decision in an email to his ABC colleagues. In the email, obtained by the website Newsblues.com, Ennis said “I am writing to let you know I’m changing my name . . . to Don Ennis. That will be my name again, now and forever. And it appears I’m not transgender after all.

Ennis denies that his mid-life gender switch was a joke or a cry for attention.

Pinellas County school bus attack

A young boy was savagely beaten by three teenage thugs on a Pinellas County school bus recently. The 13-year-old boy suffered a broken hand and facial injuries when three thugs.

But the bigger story here is the racist Pinellas County police department’s decision to seek charges against the 64-year-old bus driver for not doing enough to stop the attack.

We’ve all seen videos of similar incidents of violence on board school buses and city buses. The bus drivers rarely get out of their seats to intervene for fear of becoming victims themselves.

It’s clear that the police, prosecutors and the media are quick to judge James Moody because he is the same race as the three attackers.

Queen Rosa and James Harden

Earlier I told you about professional ball players and rappers who routinely date the same groupies who have dated other ball players and rappers. The reason for this behavior is that men are collectors by nature. They are very competitive. They believe a groupie’s value goes up exponentially if she has dated another ball player.

So it isn’t unusual for ball players to collect the same groupies the way they collect cars, guns, watches, sneakers, etc.

Professional groupie Queen Rosa has already dated NFL star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, LA Lakers star Jordan Hill, and Houston Rockets star James Harden. So she is considered a valuable catch for the next ball player or athlete who is waiting in line.

Yesterday, Queen Rosa tweeted a photo of her daughter at a lunch date with James Harden. Mothers shouldn’t bring men around their daughters, but groupies never play by the rules.

George Bush clogged arteries

Former President George Bush underwent a procedure earlier today to place a coronary stent in a blocked coronary artery in his heart. The coronary stent will keep the artery open to allow adequate blood flow in his heart.

The blockage was discovered during Bush’s annual physical exam at the Cooper Clinic in Texas, reports Fox News. The procedure was performed at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital,” according to a statement.

Patients who undergo stent placements must take oral anticoagulants (blood thinners) for life to keep blood clots from forming around the stents. Patients are at risk of stroke from blood clots and a buildup of white blood cells around the stent. Coronary stents are typically used to prevent heart attacks in people who are diagnosed with Coronary Artery Disease caused by Atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries or clogged arteries).
