A 4th adult film star has been diagnosed with the virus that causes AIDS, The Washington Times reports.

But rather than halt filming, it’s business as usual in the porn industry.

The 4th adult film star has not been identified, but he is a male who performed in gay films.

“I can confirm that a male performer came to us and indicated that he had become infected with HIV,” Michael Weinstein, president of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, told The Guardian newspaper.

3 other adult films stars have come forward in the past week to announce they are infected with the HIV virus.

Adult film star Rod Daily made his announcement in typical grandiose manner on his Twitter.com page.

Daily, who performed in an adult film with Miss Bay who also tested positive for HIV tweeted: “Drumroll please!! I’m 32 years old and I’m HIV positive. Acute HIV, which means I recently was infected.” He also tweeted: “I’m blessed for the fact that I caught it so early that I can blast that [expletive] with meds.”

In a series of tweets which seemed to glorify his HIV diagnosis, Daily mentioned NBA legend Magic Johnson who was diagnosed with the virus in 1991.

Daily also seemed to imply that he could be cured with the right combination of medications: “I’m blessed for the fact that I caught it so early that I can blast that shit with meds.”

The announcements sent shock waves through the industry which is greatly concerned with a possible mandate forcing its stars to wear condoms.

It is isn’t a surprise that gay male porn stars have been diagnosed with HIV. Despite the fact that gays only make up 4% of the population, gay and bisexual males lead the country in new HIV infections.

The virus is easily transmitted through torn membranes (fragile skin) in the rectum, the last part of the large intestines that ends at the anus.
