For the first time in her 24-year recording career, singer Tamar Braxton has gone platinum! Tamar’s “Love & War” single was certified platinum. The announcement was made via the Tamar and Vince Show Twitter page. Tamar joins her Grammy-winning sister, Toni Braxton, in a very exclusive category.
In related news, the “Pieces” and “Hot Sugar” singer is planning to re-package and re-release “Love & War” sometime in 2014.
Teasing the upcoming re-release, Braxton sat down with Malcolm Musik, confirming that she has plans to work with a few people, including a rapper or two.
“I just feel like, with an album like “Love & War,” I made so many records and we’ll get to them,” Braxton says in video below before talking about a possible collaboration on “One on One Fun.” “I can’t tell you, but it’s great. Definitely expect that.”
