First Photos of Amanda Bynes Since Leaving Rehab

Amanda Bynes

Former child star Amanda Bynes is almost unrecognizable in these photos taken 5 days after she was released from a psychological facility. Bynes, 27, was hospitalized in July and diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder after she was arrested for setting fire to a neighbor’s driveway in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

Bynes was spotted walking 2 dogs near her home. She wore a sweatshirt that read “Gangsta Love,” sunglasses and black leggings.

On Wednesday, Bynes spoke publicly for the first time since being released from rehab. “I am doing very well. I’m doing great, it’s been five days since I got out of rehab,” she said.

Bynes’ downward spiral was hastened by her addiction to drugs, alcohol and the social network Twitter.com.

In a statement, her family said Bynes was researching colleges and she plans to pursue a career in fashion.

Let’s be careful! I was in accident too, I was driving my baby the Mitsubishi, unknowing I cracked the radiator and that sucker drove all the way home about 30 miles. Getting is repaired and giving it to my son to drive.

But the guy that I hit…who had NO damage, as the police said their was no collision to write about, wrote no report….This ninja talking about he was injured he a Big ole bish <<<<<<—— DTTS giggles.

@Jenie… I’m very limited on what I can do from home with this job. I’m pretty much the secretary, HR, mail room I’m the only one to stay inside the office.

@DTTS Weeeell it was rainy last night and I was on my way to take something to my boss. The car in front of me slammed on their breaks and when I did the same, mine were just grinding and didn’t stop me in time. Obviously I needed some new ones anyway. They didn’t even have any damage, which is good.
