Singer Monica Brown pursues her dream to be a nurse

Loyal reader Gigi alerted me to the fact that singer and friend of the blog Monica Brown is working nights as a nurse.

In a caption under a photo of herself apparently hard at work last night, Monica wrote:

“I have other dreams and aspirations so I Pursue them when my babies are asleep & my musics done!! Moral of the story #WeCanIfWeBelieve never give up on your dreams #YOUCAN #BeenAtWorkSince7yesterday #ThankGODforMyMomAndPa #ScrubsAndAMandatoryThermal #DatHawkBITIN LOL??? #UKnowItsColdWhenIGetThisPale LOL”

Monica indicated that she works a 12-hour night shift (7p-7a) at a medical facility while her parents watch over her sleeping children, sons Romelo and Rocko and daughter Laiyah, at home.

We know Mo doesn’t need a side job to make ends meet like unemployed reality TV star Benzino, who was fired from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. Kudos to Monica for giving back by being of service to others! That’s the true definition of Love!
