Columbus Short‘s ex-wife, Tanee McCall-Short, is accused of assaulting one of Columbus’ girlfriends, Tilly.

Here’s a brief statement from Columbus on Twitter.com today:

According to Flex, Tanee was inside Short’s home when his girlfriend dropped him off one night. Tilly made the mistake of going inside the house (for a nightcap, perhaps?) and that’s when Tanee got to swinging — as any female would when a jump off encroaches on her territory.

The former Scandal star got the entire thing on tape (his attorney taught him well).

Troubled actor Columbus Short and his wife are on their way to be legally divorced soon but that did not stop his former lover of beating the brakes off of a female she thought was having an affair with the former “Scandal” star. The background behind the story is that as we all know, Columbus gets arrested for one of the many bad decisions he makes, his female friend Tilly went to bail him out of jail and dropped him off at his home. Apparently she came inside and while she was there, his wife, Tanee McCall-Short, came in and began pouncing on the female and yelling threats at both Tilly and Short. All you hear over and over again is Tanee yelling, “I will f*ck you up!” What a charmer.

The real kicker is that instead of breaking up the fight like any NORMAL and mentally-sane person would have, Columbus stood there and video recorded the entire fight. After the judge gained access to the beat down, he charged McCall-Short with battery. According to TMZ, Tilly apparently claims she suffered from “a concussion, a cervical sprain, multiple contusions, a lumbar strain, and a lumbar sprain.” ….WELP. Check out the fight video below.

Billy Frank Davis Jr. had a slight grin on his face as he told a Topeka police detective how he kidnapped and choked an 8-year-old girl in an apartment basement, the lead detective testified Friday.
The testimony came in the fifth day of Davis’ trial for capital murder in the abduction, rape and choking death of Ahliyah Nachelle Irvin, an 8-year-old Topeka girl who was found dead in a clothes dryer of an apartment basement in March 2012.
If Davis, 31, of Topeka, is convicted of capital murder, he could face the death penalty.
Davis, 31, of Topeka, is charged with two alternative counts of capital murder; an alternative count of first-degree murder; rape; aggravated kidnapping; one count of burglary; two counts of aggravated burglary; and two misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property.
Irvin died of asphyxia, a coroner testified.
Detective Scott Dikkey testified Friday about statements Davis made about the crimes during a smoke break in a several-hours-long police interview of the defendant.
Dikkey told District Attorney Chad Taylor in testimony Friday morning he and Davis were sitting at a picnic table outside the Law Enforcement Center, 320 S. Kansas Ave., during that interview.
As Davis told the story, he got a far-off look in his eyes, a “thousand-yard stare,” Dikkey said.
“I noticed he was slightly grinning as he was telling me this,” Dikkey said, also stating the victim asked Davis why he was choking her.
On follow-up questioning by Mark Manna, a Davis defense attorney, Dikkey said he didn’t know why Davis was grinning.
Dikkey also said during defense questioning that Davis told police he didn’t intend to kill the girl, that he didn’t try to kill the girl and that he was just trying to put her to sleep when he choked her.
The detective quoted Davis as saying he checked her pulse when he put her in the dryer, and that she had a pulse and was snoring when he closed the dryer.
DIkkey acknowledged police detectives, as they questioned Davis, told him some general details of what police knew about the case before Davis made a videotaped statement confessing to kidnapping the girl, sexually assaulting her, choking her and stuffing her into a clothes dryer.
In the video statement, Davis told police he had drunk a liter of alcohol, consumed cocaine and used liquid ecstasy, Dikkey said, and was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Ecstasy is a powerful drug that acts as a stimulant and produces hallucinations.
On questioning by Taylor, Dikkey said Davis didn’t display any signs of drug impairment or alcohol intoxication when Davis was questioned within hours of the girl’s slaying.
At 10:35 a.m. Friday, Taylor told Shawnee County District Court Judge David Debenham that the prosecution was resting its case.
The trial is to resume on Monday when defense attorneys will call at least two unidentified witnesses. It is unknown whether Davis will testify.
On Thursday, jurors viewed a videotaped confession in which Davis told detectives he took the sleeping child from an apartment and carried her to a basement at 2413 S.E. Bellview.
Once there, he said he punched her in the face twice when she wouldn’t stay quiet, sexually assaulted her, choked her and placed her in a clothes dryer to hide her.
