Man Arrested for ‘Put Wings On Pigs’ Post On Facebook

The first amendment is under attack in Chicopee, MA. Just days after two NYPD officers were ambushed and executed by a deranged gunman in Brooklyn NY, a Massachusetts man was arrested for writing a post on Facebook.

Chicopee police arrested Charles DiRosa on Monday and charged him with something called “Threat To Commit a Crime,” after he posted a “Put Wings on Pigs” post on Facebook.

Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, had threatened to put “wings on pigs” in an Instagram post before he shot and killed NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu as they sat in their squad car on Saturday.

The Chicopee police said that local residents alerted them to Charles DiRosa’s “very disturbing post” on Facebook.

“After the events of the past few days, the PD took this threat very seriously,” Chicopee police wrote on Facebook.

DiRosa was released with a summons to appear in court where his case will likely be tossed by a judge.

Chile all of this is unfortunate… but I wish these cops are held to higher standards too….. none of this would be happening to this extent if people weren’t so fed up with police officers murdering these black men and then they get a slap on a wrist…. and until they change that, there may be more senseless killings

Two things will happen: 1) Obama will be the president responsible for activating a law that allows police to micro-manage communities, or 2) The next leader of America will write laws like these using Obama as an excuse.

I know you understand what I mean by “go Black”, and I agree with you about him being President for All America. But for the sake of clarification:

1) I think when addressing race issues, in much the same way the previous president addressed war detractors, President Obama should command a louder, more prominent stance FOR something instead of being just vague. After he said “If I had a son he would look like Trayvon” I’m sure he was advised against making another statement like that, and since then he did. Lately he’s been saying America has improved in race issues. That’s like sugar coating with Spenda. It just isn’t true. We’ve improved in human rights—no more public hangings and the like—but as far as race issues we have not.
