Love and Hip Hop Atlanta

Scripted reality TV series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta returned for the 4th and final season last night. An insider whispered in my ear that producer Mona Scott-Young has run out of fresh script ideas for the stale series.

Several significant changes took place during the show’s hiatus. Mimi Faust, pictured above with her baby daddy, Stevie J, purchased a new pair of plastic body parts. And while the breast implants do nothing for her aesthetically, let’s hope they boost her self esteem and bring her out of her rumored depression.

Stevie’s fake “wife” Joseline Hernandez was “suspended” for one episode for participating in a scripted fight last season. We think Joseline was really suspended for revealing Scott-Young’s secret that her shows are scripted. Scott-Young is reportedly furious about that.

As for the rest of the cast, sources say Kirk Frost cheated on his wife Rasheeda with a groupie last year. It was all hush hush while they were shooting last season, but nothing stays a secret for long in Atlanta.

Scott-Young tried to write the drama into this season’s plot but Rasheeda adamantly refused to hang her dirty laundry on the line for the entire neighborhood to see. Which is odd when you consider that she is a cast member on a fake reality TV show. What is there to hide?

By the way, Kirk introduced his new “artist,” a “singer” cut from the same cloth as Christina Milian, Cassie Ventura, Tinashe and all those other studio singers who get by on their looks.
