Beyonce had the Internet buzzing in anticipation of her "big announcement" this weekend. Many of her delusional Stans thought she was pregnant (ha ha) or that she was announcing her intention to run for president.
What a big letdown it must have been for them when they found out Beyonce was just promoting her vegan diet book and delivery service.
Beyonce appeared on Good Morning America today to extol the virtues of her controversial 22-day vegan diet. Beyonce said she has converted to the diet on a permanent basis.
Beyonce's controversial diet calls for dieters to consume 10% fat, 10% protein and a whopping 80% carbohydrates. Doctors and dietitians warn that this is a deadly combination for people who have been diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and diabetes.
But all Beyonce cares about is her revenue derived from the sale of her books and meal delivery service.
I keep telling you these celebrities don't care about you.
In an exclusive interview with Good Morning America, which aired on Monday morning, the pop ester revealed that she has changed her lifestyle and she encourages everyone to take on the plant based diet. “I’m not naturally the thinnest woman. I have curves,” Bey said about taking on Marco Borges 22 Day Vegan Challenge. “I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works and keeps the weight off has been difficult for me.”
Bey, who was also promoting she and Borges’ 22 Days book and meal delivery service, added, “I felt like my skin was really firm. A lot tighter than when I deprived myself of food and got the weight off fast. And the weight stayed off.”
In the book, the star states, “If a Houston-born foodie can do it, you can too.”
