Whitney Houston's only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is on her death bed. But that didn't stop a Marietta man from filing a lawsuit against her.
Russell Eckerman filed suit in Fulton County Supreme Court on Friday, July 2.
In the lawsuit documents, obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Eckerman claimed Brown was speeding when she lost control of her Jeep and swerved into oncoming traffic, colliding with his Ford Taurus on January 27.
According to the New York Daily News, police investigators determined Brown’s right rear tyre blew out and that caused the accident.
In his papers, Eckerman claims his vehicle incurred “extensive damage”, while he suffered “serious personal injury”, and he is seeking $730,000 in medical bills and damages.
Eckerman has also named Bobbi Kristina’s guardians, her father Bobby and aunt Pat Houston, and conservator Bedelia Hargrove in the suit, as well as executives at the Ford Motor Company, alleging the airbag on his Taurus did not deploy properly and the seat belt was defective.
Brown was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell, GA. townhouse on Jan. 31. She was taken off life support last week and transported to a hospice in a suburb of Atlanta. Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is the leading suspect if Brown dies.
Here's an interesting related story: last week, someone emailed me asking peculiar questions about Brown's car accident.
I think I replied something to the effect of "how would I know? I'm not a lawyer." I find it suspicious that this person emailed me on June 26, exactly one week before the lawsuit was filed.
I'd like to know if you think the car Bobbi Kris had 4 days before she was found in the bath tub may have cause some of the facial injuries she had? Also do you have a update on the charges for the car accident and the condition of the victim, Russell John Eckerman, who was unable to speak after the accident? Everyone keeps trying to blame Nick Gordon but I wonder if the car accident had anything to do with it. I wonder if the victim or his family have or will be filing a lawsuit against her or her estate if she passes? Pat Houston won't be too happy if she has to split any of that Whitney money with anyone.
