A serial woman beater was arrested and charged with killing 2 adults, their 5 children, and his own son during a shooting rampage in a Texas home.

David Conley, 49, (pictured above left) was taken into custody after a one-your standoff with police at a home in Houston on Saturday night.

Police won’t say how Conley and the children’s mother, Valerie Jackson, 40, (pictured right) are related.

According to KHOU, Conley lived in the home with Jackson, her husband, their five children, and his son, Nathaniel, 13, (pictured center) until he was thrown out sometime last week.

Conley told police he returned to the home on Saturday to find the locks had been changed. He said he found an open window and crawled through. He then tied up the six children and the two adults and shot and killed them all.

The dead are identified as Jackson, her husband Dwayne Jackson, 50, their five biracial children: Honesty, 11; Dwyane, Jr., 10 (pictured above right); Caleb, 9; Trinity, 7 (pictured above left); Jonah, 6; and Conley’s son, Nathaniel.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call requesting a welfare check at the home around 9 p.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived, deputies spotted a child’s body through a window. Four deputies forced their way into the home but were pushed back by gunfire.

Conley gave up after a 1-hour standoff.

Conley is charged with one count of capital murder in all eight deaths.

Conley’s criminal record reveals he was arrested several times in the past for domestic abuse against a woman at the residence.

In one domestic violence report, Conley was charged with repeatedly beating a woman’s head against a refrigerator after she tried to stop him from whipping her son with a belt.

In another report filed in 2013, Conley assaulted a woman inside the home and threatened her with a knife.

He was also arrested in 2000 for threatening a then-girlfriend with a knife.

Conley is being held in the Harris County jail without bond.
