NBA star Lance Stephenson's baby mama dragged him into Brooklyn Family Court on Thursday. Feby Torres, 24, is seeking a substantial raise on her monthly child support.
Torres is the mother of Stephenson's 4-year-old daughter and 17-month-old son. She is seeking $12,000 a month in child support and other reasonable expenses.
Stephenson, also 24, earned $9 million in salary last year and he will earn $9 million this NBA season.
Feby told a judge she needed the increase in child support to move her family out of the slums of Chauncey St. in Bedford Stuyvesant.
Famed attorney Raoul Felder described the war zone in Beford Stuyvesant where Feby and her children are forced to duck bullets.
"There is a safety issue here, there's gun shots heard at night," said Felder.
Her reasonable expenses include $3,000 a month for the children to attend a posh child care center, $1000 a month for groceries, and cash to furnish her new home.
