This photo of a young couple heading to their homecoming went viral over the weekend. For some reason people thought this was a photo of 14-year-old first daughter, Sasha Obama. It should be obvious that the girl is not Sasha — she doesn’t even look like Sasha. But that didn’t stop the news media from running with it anyway.

Remember the days when the news media were professional and had journalistic standards that were beyond reproach?

Below are my Top 5 reasons why the girl isn’t Sasha Obama.

5. The girl in the photo is too short to be Sasha.

I think it’s also a personality thing. Traci wasn’t likeable when she was on Dancing Dolls. Her dancers have better technique but I don’t think people are as interested since it doesn’t quite meet the same level of entertainment.

This is a picture of Sasha showing off her date. They aren’t attending homecoming dance in this picture they were going to the game on this picture. Secondly, the shoes are K Swiss not some knocks offs and last the young man is wearing a “Cruddy” which has gained popularity with young black boys that attend private schools now that it has been deemed as an acceptable haircut within the last couple of years.
