Songbird and actress Brandy Norwood was a guest on The Wendy Williams Show this week. The 36-year-old mother of one told Wendy she didn't know her brother Ray J was engaged to his "Love & Hip Hop" co-star Princess Love until this week.
"They are really engaged and I told him I was coming here. I didn't know, like I'm really mad about that. How do you not tell you sister you're engaged?" she told Wendy. "I called him yesterday and said, Wendy's going to ask me if you're engaged or not and I need to know and he said yeah, tell her I'm engaged."
Wendy remained unconvinced that Ray J was really engaged to Princess Love.
When Wendy asked Brandy if her parents knew about the engagement, Brandy indicated her mother would find out when she watched The Wendy Show.
Ray J and other reality TV stars have been accused of faking their real-life drama to boost TV ratings.
Brandy said she was a fan of "Love & Hip Hop" -- until her brother signed on to do the show.
"I used to watch it before Ray J was on it. I'm not embarrassed, I'm his sister and I don't know what he's going to do," she said.
