Jay Z is about to corner the market in music streaming.
Jay Z is wooing bold name artists from major record labels and signing them to his Roc Nation label -- artists who will release their albums exclusively on Tidal.
If this keeps up, major record labels will soon be extinct.
Jay Z's artist, Rihanna issued an unofficial challenge to the reigning pop Queen Beyonce to step her game up. The 28-year-old Bajan singer eclipsed Michael Jackson with the most #1 singles on the charts.
While RiRi charts #1s left and right, Beyonce hasn't had a #1 hit in a decade.
Now comes word that Beyonce is pushing out 2 albums in the next few months. One album is slated to be her 6th studio album while the other album will be a duet recorded with her husband, rap mogul Jay Z.
Beyonce's last album was her self-titled album that she dropped on iTunes without warning.
The collabo album with Jay Z will drop on Tidal in April.
In related Beyonce news, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan offered the Nation's security services to protect Beyonce during her upcoming concert tour.
Mr. Farrakhan extended his services after police departments across the country threatened to boycott Beyonce's concerts in response to her anti-police performance during Super Bowl 50.
