Beyonce Knowles

The fallout continues from Beyonce's Black Lives Matter Super Bowl halftime stunt that many took as an anti-police stand.

Beyonce Knowles may be forced to hire private security to police her sold out Tampa concert in April.

According to a report on Rawstory.com, Tampa Police officers are refusing to patrol the venue where Beyonce will be performing.

Rawstory.com reports that a sign up sheet at the station for Tampa officers to work overtime at Beyonce's concert remains blank.

Tampa Police Department spokesperson Steve Hegarty tells Rawstory.com he’s not sure if the lack of officers signing up is a direct result of Beyonce's anti-police performance.

“This is a couple of months away, so we’ve still got plenty of time to fill those slots," he said, hopefully.

So far, Beyonce has not made a public statement to affirm or deny the allegations that she is against the police.

really...They still on this? Black folks can't say ish.. Everrthang AINT about YALL Y-T's....anyway,We BLACKS/African Americans/Africans suppose to just TAKE whatever..."they" keep giving US.

  • Cricket404

Which lyric are they mad about again?

  • ShelbyMoore

Pro-black and anti-police are two different things. I don't even like the chick, but she is influential and she has a right to bring light to the injustices that are facing black youths. Fawk the popo, hire your own security and tell them to svck your dack.

  • ShelbyMoore

But some (most) of her fans/stans are crazy themselves. LOL

  • Yoni

    Beyonce’s anti-police performance.

"they" don't even know...its one of those somebody said, she said fck the police...and or her on top of a submerging police car in the video...suppose to mean fck the police....

  • Yoni

And that's how you know folks won't let shit happen to HER. LOL

  • JJ

People loved to be outraged even we they have nothing to be outraged about. When did Beyonce say or do anything actually anti police? If she has never said fawk all the popos how do they know she isnt just expressing her frustration with insane murderous unfit cops. I guess the next police unjustified beating or killing will be coming out of tampa.... the fact that they automatically equate pro black life with anti police is so revealing.

  • nucynu25

Fuk them . Straight up , just bc we show blk pride that mean we saying f Tha popo.?She shouldn't make a statement , she never does . The police started off as a slave patrol any way so yall mad yall can't catch run-a-ways ??

Her performance was in no way, shape, or form anti-ANYTHING. The only thing Beyonce's performance indicated she is against is wearing pants on stage ever again. She is truly about the bodysuit/onsie life.

  • Locapoca

? They acting like she really went full blown NWA on that ass . This shyt is nonsense http://sandrarose.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_bsflag.gif

    Exactly

  • JJ

Did I not see the whole performance did she have a part where she beat down a police officer for no reason or shot and killed one during the performance? Maybe at the end she lynched a dummy dressed up like a police officer? Show me any of is happening during the performance please because I must've missed it during airing and watching on youtube.

  • 1/8

Did anyone else notice how nervous Beyonce was at the Grammy awards? She knows she's about to be dumped into the same Super Bowl trash can with Janet Jackson.

  • YOUR man chose BSweet #ohwell

I must be more ignant than I thought. Can someone point me to the anti police portion of the performance? Was it a fugg da police sign that I missed?

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

This racist ish is so ingrained in America... They still see and use us as slaves. Not in a pick cotton sense but you are only allowed to act and get and be so much. If you push beyond what we say you should have be or get, the penalty is death. For the average walkin the streets blacks it's the physical deaths... For star status blacks, it's a character or career death. They will kill you at will...

When did Beyonce say or do anything actually anti police?

I don't know how they got "anti-police" out of THESE type lyrics:

Y'all haters corny with that Illuminati mess
Paparazzi, catch my fly, and my cocky fresh
I'm so reckless when I rock my Givenchy dress (stylin')
I'm so possessive so I rock his Roc necklaces
    My daddy Alabama, Momma Louisiana
You mix that negro with that Creole make a Texas bama
I like my baby heir with baby hair and afros
I like my negro nose with Jackson Five nostrils
Earned all this money but they never take the country out me
I got a hot sauce in my bag, swag

Oh yeah, baby, oh yeah I, ohhhhh, oh, yes, I like that
I did not come to play with you hoes, haha
    I came to slay, bitch
I like cornbreads and collard greens, bitch
Oh, yes, you besta believe it

You know you that bitch when you cause all this conversation
Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper

  • YOUR man chose BSweet #ohwell

Anybody watch the black panthers doc on PBS? It's amazing the number of white people who think that the mission of the black panthers is somehow similar to or worse than the KKK.

  • hotntot95

"Stop killing us"...and this doesn't apply to police officers who aren't guilty...

  • nucynu25

B is ALWAYS nervous when she's not performing .. that's why she rarely does interviews

  • Yoni

    Let's get in formation.

  • Yoni

Her carrying hot sauce in her bag.

  • Yoni

I don't see how they can compare the two. Until we see some blk folks at a klan meeting and pics of YT folks being lynched by Black Panthers, THEN we can compare. Until then, it's apples and oranges at this point.

  • BKLYNS MAMA

Yes, That too...I seen on twitter, "they" was breaking down (what "they" thought) certain meanings in her video and her super bowl performance meant...basically Beyoncé was for BLACK POWER and against the Police like the BLACK PANTHERS...dem muthfcks all confused. She was RACE BAITING with her performance.

  • harley_quinn2.0

I missed it. I think it reairs on Saturday, I'll watch it then

  • Goddess™

    ??????

  • 88

I did it was great but The Black Panthers will always be a threat to those who uphold white supremacy. Make no mistake that's why so many white ppl get nervous when they are brought up or they go out of their way to demonize them.

  • Nothing but truth

    Exactly.

  • 88

    Police = White Supremacy
Black Panthers = Anti White Supremacy
Do you see the connection now?

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

When "They" think they made you great... they feel like you're biting the hand that fed you when you represent anything outside of what they pay you to do and that is time they will roll up the news paper on you and beat you likes dog... wait they care about their dogs more...

  • Yoni

But WHO still listens to "THEM"?

  • nucynu25

I think it's partially due to the lack of faces attached to the KKK. The KKK are doctors , teachers , lawyers, cops & pastors . White ppl see the images & refuse to accept the truth , it's their fathers , grandfather's & brothers behind them sheets .

Where all the black police in Tampa? They saying no to this overtime? That was my FIRST question. 14% of them are coloreds. Where they at?

  • YOUR man chose BSweet #ohwell

I agree but this is a common feeling. I thought it was crazy too.

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

Yes because history shows that they cannot WILL NOT concede to the fact that their race has any evil intentions and to do something so evil MUST be a rarity due to mental illness..

  • Yoni

Yeah like kill a movie theater full of folks. Or walk into a church and gun down NINE black folks during a prayer service. I would consider them more mental if they'd just off themselves and leave everyone else to live their own happy lives.

  • starbright9449

So let me get this straight? Her concert is SOLD OUT and the police would mainly be there to protect her fans. Beyonce has her own security team. So either way she's winning. God forbid someone gets hurt, she probably won't lose any sleep.

  • Yoni

Where are all the GOOD cops is the question. LOL

  • nucynu25

Yep, I started looking at it this way once those white college kids got caught chanting some racist song . Id remember what university it was but it was very disrespectful , it was a very prestigious college. I just kept thinking these the same mfs that turn into our lawyers , judges & doctors.

  • YOUR man chose BSweet #ohwell

IDK. I do know their leader is a black man. He better get on the STICK lol.

  • KayCeiSoul

This is why I said she was going to have to go hard or go home when approaching/making it seem like she was approaching any type of Black Movement. Nothing about the Movement was docile, quiet, or subliminal. Everything about it was selfless....like Kendrick's performance. See what he did with that?? Go HARD. Now we ALL have seen that the devil is hiding in masses in the police and legal system, i.e., the rulemakers and enforcers. Bey really messed up; they didn't take her seriously.

  • Yoni

    You besta' believe it!

  • Yoni

Hey KayCei! I love it, now we can see who's really hiding under those sheets. Hit dogs WILL holla.

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

Its evident when they pretend to try and prosecute the offender..

  • KayCeiSoul

Exactly! She has a right to use her voice however she pleases, but in this case HOW she used it to support should have been strengthened prior to release. I blame Pappy Matt and all his outside chirrun. I know he doesn't manage her anymore, I know this; but his mustache has been around since the late 50's, so ain't no excuse for this. Nope.

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

Yep because they kept anonymity. The clan runs deep because of that.

  • Yoni

If he's anything like that one blk cop they got working for Faux News, she ain't gettin no coverage.

He in is pownk azz feelings.

  • raysorbladeczar

I sure that won't be an issue! Matter of fact, hire private police and security for every event.

  • THE OLDER SISTAH

I hope he handles his business better than his counterpart did in N.Y. Back in the day, cops turning their back to the mayor ( DeBlasio (sp) would have gotten you in big trouble, union or no union. Too many cops out of control IMO, you don't get to choose. Do your job before you don't have one should be the order of the day.

  • Lolalao

They get me with that "Mental Illness" crap. It's not an "illness" it's an "ATTRACTION".

  • It’s Taurus Season

Hey hun! Yes. And this in this case..."they" is black. But we all know sometimes the inner racial hatred is just as strong. Hence black Patrick over in TN who started the Boycott Beyonce movement. There is no reason to hate this lady so much man. She has done nothing wrong.

  • Branch Davidian

Beyonce should have Dunkin Donuts sponsor her concert. Then the cops won't give a shit about her "protest" LOL...BTW, the white dude from Coldplay looks VERY militant in this picture...

White people are using coded language again, as usual! They know Beyonce isn't anti -police , they know her song was about white supremecy and the miss treatment of blacks. They're only playing the fool to throw us off our square, I see exactly what these devils are doing. They're scared they know their times almost up and they're doing everything in their evil powers to demonize this woman. No extra words on the Grammys??

  • hi-liter

That lil young whyte girl is so misinformed. I see anybody can get a show on faux news these days. Charlamagne gave her Donkey of the Day on the Breakfast club the other day and she invited him on her show to talk about Bey's SuperBowl performance and her "supposed" salute to the Black Panthers. Same shat we discussing here pretty much.

  • Yoni

I saw the video. So the baby boy dancing/slaying with the hoodie on was a threat to them, huh?

  • Brownie

*pulls up chair* I swear folks get so deep in their feelings when too much blackness is showing. I'll wait for the link but I don't have all day...

  • jussaying

Ray Charlessss... Georgia. I always think of him taking a stand during Jim Crow in instances like this. Lol, the Beyonce' song isn't even that serious. I legit think she made it up whilst taking a dump and trying to figure out how she could get in on this 'OscarsSoWhite' buzz to make a statement. Was up there with the bubble guts from Red Lobster like emph let me throw that in the song too lol. Good for her, making money on people's stupidity. Don't know how the cops can be offended by this - wasn't like she was saying anything significant like Kendrick did.

  • B.Loveitt

I wish she would find member of the BPP who were and still say they are part of the Panther Party it was quite a few here in Georgia who made statements after this foolishness who voiced their opinion and spoke the truth about all the lies being told about their purpose then to the black communities.

Remix it and do a new video with them...giving the truth!

  • Monday

Whenever they see a black person sitting or just posing next to a police car it means they hate the police

  • Angela Flowers

She should cancel performing in that city to teach them a lesson (not the fans). Concerts bring money and business to cities so it's actually helping them. She should give them refunds. They'll either go to another city or forgive her.

FUGG dem crakkkaz IF THEY THINK the Danziger Bridge shootings are something to stand behind/support...

  • hi-liter

She could if she wanted too. You are really mad it seems. smh.

  • ATL White Guy

The Po-lice look stupid for doing this. What happened to freedom of speech? Isn't that a right? So you gonna be petty and childish and not defend and provide security for a large crowd because someone choose to exercise their freedom of expression through song? I guess I can refuse to support the police now because one of you told a black motorist in Cobb county that he doesn't care about black people. I'll be petty too.

  • hi-liter

That wont stop ticket sales hun. Police just wont earn any overtime, when they know they need it.

  • Chantelle

I don't think that will stop sales at all, in fact it would probably increase them. Where did I say it would stop ticket sales..?

  • imright

Charla went on her show 2 discuss her bullish views on Bey at the super bowl & the black panthers

  • Jackie Byrd

Its amazing how those who are sworn to protect the public will boycott someone for what they perceive the person said. how petty and immature can you be. And they feel people are against them. I wonder why. Not only do they protect their own who murder people because they can, but they want to get mad at someone for saying what they want. Petty on petty.

  • GuestSTAR

That would be GREAT if the Black Panthers AND The Nation of Islam came out to assist with security...HAAAAAA

  • Divame

When looking for approval from the tax return bey hive goes wrong??? that's what she gets for trying to buy their affection... Now some overpriced security team hired from temp agencies can protect her???

  • Butter CreamFactory

Right , The gun laws we have today were to disarm the Black Panter Party.

  • ML

Not just about Beyonce. Its for the concertgoers as well. Police are paid to serve and protect, so they need to go and do their job.
BTW its already been said somebody WILL be assigned even if nobody signs up. Welp.....

  • Readytochokemothernatureonout

Who pays their salary shouldn't that be who they protect regardless of feelings oh that's right what was I thinking

  • La

The New Black Panther party should volunteer and do security lol
    Is it enough of them?

  • Mel

U missing out on them cheddar biscuits I tell ya

  • askquestions

They know too many blacks easily give up.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

The promoter will work this out, trust me. Police are so ignorant, I swear.

  • 1/8

That was a very undignified response.

  • 1/8

That sounds like a credible threat, because Obama definitely has a history of using drones to murder innocent civilians. ?

  • Hmmm~?

Because that's how people, both black and white, interpret it. You don't have to explicitly say something in order for people to get the message. All of this attention being brought to police brutality in the form of black rallying cries is giving many black people the idea that they should retaliate against the police.

  • sweetpeach0711

Did you listen to it? It is not about white supremacy nor is it about the mistreatment of black people....the song is about her....her money, her materialistic items, telling tricks to get in her formation, telling b@tches to get in her formation oh and f@cking a man and taking him to red lobster smh lol my people are blinded by the smoke and mirrors....she was just trying to promote her concert and that is the very reason why she is quiet now... She knows she messed up with her main fan base....whites. I am all about black power but I will call a spade a spade.

  • sweetpeach0711

    lol exactly

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

I'm not talking about the song ,I'm talking about the video. We all know the words to the song, that's not the issue here it the imagery used in her video. Spade or not what she did just highlighted the extreme racism that over shadows Amerikkka. Why should black people apologize for telling the truth? Why are white people so uncomfortable with black unity? Why? This is the questions I want one of them to answer. To them black pride / unity means anti -white. Why? What are they afraid of? 400 plus years of retaliation.

  • sweetpeach0711

What she did was leech from pro black causes to promote her upcoming world tour and make more money. Why hasn't she opened her mouth and said anything? She wants to rally is up all of a sudden, well she should be a leader and provide some direction. This is a dangerous thing she is tinkering around with. While she is sitting in her mansions....we will be on these streets fighting for our lives....when it gets terrible she will be being escorted through those underground tunnels set aside for the rich. This is all to bait a race war and it seems to be working. I despise the murdering of our youth. I have raised two respectable young men myself....so my concern is for their future and for the future of my race. She will not be affected at all while some of us will be six feet deep behind her so-called movement. Where were the powerful lyrics? Kendrick Lamar wasn't scared to provide the audio with the visual, neither was Michael Jackson. Those are the real heroes not someone prancing around in a onesie singing about f@cking and shopping. I'm sorry....I am feeling the movement just not feeling her with this half @ss delivery. Go hard or go home!

  • MS.BEE

EVERYTHING BEYONCE DO SOMEBODY GOT SOMETHING TO SAY. WELL IT IS BLACK HISTORY MONTH && SHE WAS JUST LETTING THE WORLD KNOW....IM BLACK && IM PROUD!!!

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

I bet when you supported Bush's invasion of Iraq you weren't worried about innocent citizens.

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

    Then it fits you perfectly!!

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

Over stand this I'm no Beyonce fan, Stan etc, but I will not stand idley by twiddling my thumbs as white america Ban's TOGETHER to not only boycott Beyonce but BLACKS AS A WHOLE! You don't get it , do you. Blacks are waking up and Yts are shook , that's the real issue here. They want blacks to stay in their place and not upset the WHITE satus quo! We're being treated like rebellious slaves they're not even hiding their racism anymore! If you can't see that or refuse to see it than that's on you. F.Y.I you can either join the revolution of get ran over by it. Either way its here to stay.

  • sweetpeach0711

Oh I am already involved with the revolution and I have been so since the death of Travon Martin. I also agree that it is time to bond together and present a united front. What I am saying is that I hope she was sincere with her actions because she has yet to speak and this uprising can/will be something very serious. This will be more powerful than any song. I don't want our revolution to be remembered by a song about sex and red lobster. Sorry not sorry. Also I find it sad that it took her to put a spark or a rise in our people. These things have been happening for years now and it has only gotten worse. All of a sudden everyone is an activist and tired of injustices. Well guess what.....we were being murdered and suppressed long before she jumped on that stage pretending to be Michael Jackson in s bikini. Our people need to stop jumping on the next thing smoking and actually stand up and DO SOMETHING. Just as I stated....after she finished her ballet routine she got back into her limo while being escorted by the popo and drove off. Meanwhile everyone with an inkling of black in them has been all over the Internet raging against the machine because they saw a picture in a video and not because they wanted to....if they did it would have already been taking place...PERIOD. So excuse me if I choose to continue my works without jumping on the Beyoncé bandwagon. She is so disconnected from the plight of the African American. When the riots, fights and murders break out I guarantee she will be nowhere to be found. So y'all go ahead and rally in the name of Beyoncé. I hope a real leader steps up to organize and SPEAK to our people and provide purpose, direction and motivation.....last I check the BPP and the BLM movement had absolutely nothing to do with hot sauce in a bag, her new dresses, tricks, b@tches or having sex for money.....please correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

I was born into it I didn't just start at Treyvon . My parents RAISED me like this, I didn't start yesterday like you. My parents were pro black etc before it was even a thing. I've been like this before it was cool, back when blacks were scary towards whites. People around me are just starting to wake up to what I've already known. Which is why I'll let Beyonce slide this time. I've been Anti Beyonce since 1997, now I'll stand with her . Who are you to tell me who's real and who isn't? You're still at stage one. You just got here I've been here , BYE!

  • sweetpeach0711

Really? I am saying that I started with the activist groups and doing things throughout my community when Trayvon passed but however I am an African American women born and raised in the heart of Georgia so I HAVE DEALT WITH AND SEEN FIRSTHAND the injustices.....I have seen many young black man to include my only brother, fall victim to this jaded judicial system. My brother served 10 years in the chain gang for a crime he did not commit. I have been called a n@gger right to my face so please don't try me as if I don't know or have not be affected with what's going on. I was also raised in a city with a very high murder rate and gangs. Beyoncé ain't about that life. She has never felt the real struggle.....the struggle of losing both parents, a child, and my only brother being sent away for 10 long years.....so I joined the military and have been serving for almost 17 years. I know the sacrifices....I have been deployed numerous times. I know first had how nasty this thing can become. So once again excuse me if I am not on the Beyoncé bandwagon but guess what I AM ON THE BAND WAGON FOR JUSTICE FOR OUR PEOPLE. I am also extremely VOCAL about it. I did not write it on a wall, I did not climb up on a police car. I opened my eyes and then opened my mouth. I'm just waiting for her to follow suite. This is the issue.....we need more strong leaders in our communities....we are honestly like drones, worker bees, followers.....easily led and it's sad. It is like the story of the Pied Piper. That is how I compare black people to following Beyoncé. They are completely blinded and will fight tooth and nail with anyone who has a difference of opinion. If you read my posts thoroughly we both agree about what needs to be done, we just don't agree with the method of delivery. Trust me as African Americans we can present a united front without both of us being in love with Beyoncé. Life goes on and hopefully positive changes will be made.....we need to consider at what cost. She will not lead any marches, riots, protests.....any of it and her family will be protected. Ours will not. People need to be careful what they ask for because I have seen death and war and it ain't pretty. So now please let's just agree to disagree. You have a blessed night.

Those Bow Tie wearing men will protect you.

  • Herefor entertainment

The media did its usual thing with this story, and of course the uneducated, ignorant, and the bias ate it up. As far as the concert.., it's Florida, no surprise there!

  • Genia W-m

Aren't we tired of whining cops? They can provide a blue wall of silence around their fellow peers during domestic violence and police brutality but can't interpret a video message. If they're a bad cop then yes, the message is for them. However, the good cops didn't take a second glance.

  • lele

So because she is anti-police brutality, she is anti-police? Ridiculous

  • Angela Baker

let her shitty thug hubby hire security for her concerts
