The Walking Dead

***SPOILER ALERT*** Wait for the next post if you don’t want to know who dies.

In Alexandria, Rick, Michonne, Jessie, Gabriel, Carl, Judith, Ron, and Sam, wearing their DIY zombie guts ponchos, navigate through the walking dead zombies, on their way to the armory to get more weapons.

But Rick decides going to the armory is too risky; the streets are overrun with walkers, and there aren’t enough weapons at the armory to make the trip worthwhile.

Instead, he says, they should head to the quarry where they have vehicles to lead the walkers away.

Jessie decides to take her youngest child, Sam, with her. A bad decision.

Sam has flashbacks to season 5 and the speech Carol gave him about walkers eating him alive. He spots a child walker ahead of him and begins to cry. The others plead with him to keep moving.

But the zombie walkers are alerted to the weeping boy. Walkers don’t cry.

2 walkers sneak up behind the frightened boy and begin to eat him alive — just as Carol had forewarned.

Jessie screams, frozen with fear, unable to save her child. Carl tries to get to Jessie who is still holding Sam’s hand as he is eaten by the walkers.

Carl yells to Rick for help: he can’t free his hand from Jessie who is now under attack herself.

Rick takes out his ax and chops off lover Jessie’s arm, freeing Carl to run. But Carl drops his gun. Jessie’s other son Ron picks up the gun and points it at Rick, the man who killed his father.

Michonne effortlessly stabs Ron through the back, causing the gun to discharge, sending a bullet into Carl’s eye.

Carl, mortally wounded (because no one can survive a shot in the eye), turns to Rick and says, “Dad?” before collapsing to the ground.

Rick picks up Carl and rushes him to the infirmary, as Michonne clears a path through the hungry walkers with her sword.

Jessie and her entire family are wiped out.
