Katt Williams was released from the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta Friday night.
Williams told ABC News affiliate WSB-TV his legal troubles made him a victim of his own success.
The 42-year-old stand up comedian's hands were wrapped in gauze bandage. A confidential source revealed he suffered minor injuries to both hands punching a wall in the jail.
Williams was holding blister packs containing medications which are usually issued to inmates with chemical imbalances of the brain, such as depression.
The troubled comedian was accompanied by his defense attorney Drew Findling.
He was arrested earlier in the week in Hall County, GA. on charges of assaulting one of his body guards who refused to commit a crime on his orders.
Williams was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment, in addition to multiple weapons and drug charges in that case.
On Thursday, he was transferred to the Fulton County jail from Hall County on new charges, including entering auto, theft by taking, and simple battery.
