Sandy, did you have them removed and they returned? If so, you may want to opt for a hysterectomy, unless you plan on having children. My mom held off on having one for years and suffered anemia, painful periods, and sex, once she got close to menopause, she went ahead and had the full hysterectomy and doesn’t regret it.

I was just diagnosed with fibroids this year (Jan 2016) by a very good doctor. My previous 3 doctors misdiagnosed my bleeding as being caused by my hormone replacement. Other than the bleeding, I didn’t have any other signs and symptoms normally associated with fibroids; no pelvic pain, no cramps, no bloating, no discomfort.

Okay, so you are in the early stages and can get treatment. That is very good. Good thing that you stayed on it. a lot of women are not in tune with their bodies and accept whatever a physician tells them, especially minority women. We have to be diligent in knowing that if we feeling something is wrong, keep asking questions and get another opinion. I was misdiagnosed for 2 years for my condition, but kept asking questions and was properly diagnosed, with adenomyosis and cervical cancer……my persistence saved my life- 3 years cancer free as of 2/14/16. My doctor said had we waited any longer, he didn’t know how long or short I had. I thank God every chance I get!! I’ll keep you in my prayers.

I potty trained my twins over a weekend when they were about 15 months old. One has never had an accident. The other had a few accidents.
