An Apple employee apparently shot himself in the head in a conference room at the company’s northern California headquarters Wednesday morning.

A 911 caller reported “a body is in one of the conference rooms with a gun.” Emergency responders found the Hispanic male employee deceased from a gunshot wound to the head. A handgun was found on the desk near his body, the NY Daily News reports.

“There was no other individuals involved and they believe it was an isolated incident,” said Sgt. Andrea Urena with the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department at a press conference.

An earlier call to 911 at 8:38 a.m. reported a female employee with a head wound was escorted from the building by security.

Police did not identify the female employee or explain how the 2 incidents are related.

The man’s death comes a day after the tech giant’s quarterly earnings fell for the first time in more than a decade.

Apple’s stock price tumbled 6% to $97.82 at the end of the regular trading session on Wednesday.
