Maybe I’m thinking about it differently. If I’m a multi-millionaire and choose to take care of my father, then that’s the day he can stop being self-sufficient. If I got the means. My parents definitely have the means. Especially since I was reliant upon him for all them years he raised me. And he’s old. Nah. My daddy ain’t got to be self-sufficient if I got millions in the bank. That’s for sure.

Well…paying 4k a month in rent for 10 years is not a smart business move, he should have invested in a condo…but WHY is Khloe still handling Lamar’s finances and making decisions for him? Well…let’s not forget Lamar’s father didn’t raise or support him. He was raised by his grandmother. His father was drugged out most of his life so they have a different relationship.

No, it takes 20 years. I don’t get a pension. If you get out before 20 years, the only way you get a “pension” is if you have a military-related disability. In other words, your physical problem was due to the military. You have to go through the whole process and let the VA determine what % you are worthy of. Right now, when places say veterans are entitled to a discount, unless you are a disabled veteran or retired veteran there is no way to prove to them that you are a veteran unless you carry around a copy of your DD214 (discharge papers).

Hmmm… for me there is a difference between you choosing to take care of your parents out of appreciation and from your parents solely relying on you to take care of them.

She can still pursue a passion and open a business AND you can still pay her rent. If that day comes where you can no longer pay her rent (which to me would mean I can no longer pay my own rent), then we would have to figure something out together. But if my rent is paid, so is my parents.
