NBA superstar LeBron James kept his promise to bring the city of Cleveland its 1st ever NBA championship.

The Cavaliers beat the hapless Golden State Warriors 93-89 to win the 2016 NBA Finals at Oracle Arena on Sunday.

No team in NBA history had ever come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA title until Sunday.

The Cavs’ historic win also ended a 52-year championship title drought in Cleveland.

I’m at a loss for words,” said an emotional James, who won MVP of the 2016 NBA Finals. “This is unbelievable.”

“For us to be able to end this drought… our fans deserve it. It was for them.”

“I came back for a reason, and that is to bring a championship to the city of Cleveland, to northeast Ohio and all of Ohio and all Cavaliers fans in the world,” he said.
