Donald Trump's eldest daughter, Ivanka, shared a heartwarming story about her dad on CNN last night.
She recalled hiding in a broom closet at her private school to call her father collect during recess.
"I was probably 10 years old and I called collect to the Trump Organization, which is hilarious, and he would pick up the phone every single time," she told CNN's Gloria Borger.
Like all good and great dads, Trump made time for his daughter. It didn't matter if he was in meetings with world leaders or corporate CEOs; he dropped everything for her.
"He's put me on speaker phone. It wasn't a long conversation. It didn't matter who was there"' she said.
Sometimes it would be "titans of industry," Ivanka Trump said, or "heads of countries."
"He'd always take my call," she said.
"He'd always tell everyone in the room how great a daughter I was and say cute things and ask me about a test I took," she added.
Ivanka is fiercely protective of her dad, especially when she hears the lies being spread by the leftwing media.
"I as a woman, I as a person could never support someone who is sexist, or racist, I just couldn't. I would not be able to be OK with that," she said.
"But I know who he is as a human being and I know these things are not true," she added.
Like most little girls with attentive and loving dads, Ivanka grew up to marry a man who was as good in every way as her father.
The jewelry line owner is married to successful businessman Jared Kushner, 35, principal owner of a real estate holding company and the New York Observer newspaper.
They wed in 2009 and she bore him 3 children, daughter Arabella Rose, 5; son Joseph Frederick, 2; and son Theoodore James, 4 months.
Ivanka learned to recognize the good qualities and traits in a man because her father taught her what to look for by example.
At age 34, she is a successful business woman in her dad's corporate office, who puts her children first -- just like her father taught her.
Child experts say a girl's relationship with her father is the most crucial parental bond in her developing years.
Without that bond, she may grow up to be a lesbian, or she may kiss a lot of frogs (and pick up a lot of STDs) before finding a good man.
