Iman Jr

Here's proof that Teyana Taylor reads the blog. Teyana posted this image of her adorable daughter, Iman Jr.'s weight loss just three months after this post about overfeeding her baby.

If you recall, I wrote, "Somebody please tell Teyana that over feeding her baby may lead to childhood obesity. Read more about baby weight here."

It looks like Iman Jr. is well on her way to a happy and healthy life free from childhood obesity issues!

Thin women are notorious for having big babies. Junie's father is a very tall man. Her size as a baby isn't the size she will necessarily be when she gets older. Junie is a beautiful baby. There's no reason she should be the subject of anything other than adoration.

Reason why dairy should not be consumed by humans. It's intended to grow a baby calf to a 1600 to 2100 pound animal. Not meant for us at all.

There's nothing better than a chunky baby. They don't call it "baby fat" for nothing, Sandra. This baby is adorable!

  • doubledee

That baby is/was far from obese. Obesity isn't even in her DNA. Her parents bodies are amazing! My kids were fat like that as babies, my pediatrician even suggested I watch their weight. My babies lost if that extra weight by tge time they started walking.

I'm certain this family has a pediatrician, and both parents appear to be young, healthy, energetic and attentive to this beautiful baby. I doubt they're negligent where her care and feeding are concerned. Sandra's gonna get enough of poking at folks who aren't bothering her.?

I'm mad that baby' s wearing a dolce and gabana dress but probably has few to no books. and she's still a little extra chunky,

  • Sweet Black Cherri

WEIGHT LOSS????? ON A BABY????? LMAOOOOOO! Girl bye! Whether she is a medical professional or not, what she really isn't is a mother. So she isn't about that parent life! A doctor would probably have CPS called on her once they heard she put a baby on a diet! LMAO!!! No Sandra, this little cherub is right where she is supposed to be. She will grow up and out of this weight. Neither of her parents are overweight, but we don't know about their linages and what runs in the families. But her weight is nowhere near an issue right now! LMAOOOOOO

  • SouljaSociety

    Too cute

  • Carrington

I shall never read a story about this child and be able to finish it without that, "WTF?" Face after reading, "Jr."

  • B.l

Body shaming a baby ? No ! She will loose weight when she walks. Let this baby eat as much as she wants and needs

  • SameoleJ

How do you know there are "few to no" books in her nursery? Why would you ASSume that? Both her parents are intelligent people who are productive in society.
And you do realize she is an infant, so she isn't doing too much reading.

  • SameoleJ

Isn't she breastfed? Most breastfed babies are chunky as heyul!! And plenty of "fat" babies turn out to be very slim (as a MOTHER of 4 chunky babies, I have two who are very slim) IT IS CALLED GENETICS!! DA HEYUL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!

  • SameoleJ

So you use breast milk when milk is required in a dish? Serious question here...or are you saying to not give it to children? Infants aren't fed milk (from cow, etc) when they during the 1st year (and sometimes beyond) of their life, so that wouldn't the reason why she is chunky, and she is breastfed.

  • SameoleJ

Childhood obesity really we're talking about a baby not a 9 or 10 yr old. Once she's up walking running around that fat is going to melt away.

  • Nikki Minor

Negative Nancy at it again. I swear I just don't get it. I guess some people will do anything for shock value and views on their blog.

  • Guess Who

    SMDH.
You really fat shaming a baby under the guise of a medical moment..and even provided a link on baby fat? REALLY? Couldn't even wait until baby was out of pampers and off whole milk and walking to be concerned with her chubbiness...or better yet, WHY THE FUK are you concerned? You seem to like to speak on everyone's children, Sandra. You do messy shyt all the time and then act like you're clueless as to why folks drag you by them ms celie glasses you rock.
May I ask WHAT did you look like as a baby? Anything like that picture benzino posted?

  • Full Monty

Leave that beautiful baby alone. Babies go up and down in weight especially when cereal is introduced in their formula. Please stop acting like she honey boo boo!

    Hi Butter,
I should have copied and pasted the portion of your comment I was responding to before making my point. And I didn't do a great job of explaining said point either: why we shouldn't consume dairy. I went off on a tangent without fully presenting my argument. ?

You said "Milk is high in fat and necessary for proper growth and development" when referencing breast milk. I was agreeing with your statement and taking it a step further by saying this is why we shouldn't consume dairy. A cow's milk contains high levels of fat that's necessary for the proper growth and development of a baby calf to a healthy adult size weight of 1600 ibs or so. The milk we produce contains the right amount of fat for HUMAN growth and development during a baby's nursing years.

@SameOleJ while some baby formulas do contain dairy, that wasn't the point I was arguing. I was responding to a statement Butter made in her post. To answer your question about substituting breast milk in a dish that requires milk...uhm no ?. 1. I'm vegan. 2. When I say not meant for us, I meant all of us. Kids and adults alike...not consuming it period in all it's forms. So that would include recipes made with it. There is just no nutritional purpose for it.

  • I aint the one

    Hola J! See reply above.

  • Moon Lee

You are absolutely correct, however no practicing professional would do that. So, I stand corrected by the way I worded it. Peace!

  • SameoleJ

I saw that afterwards, but what did you drink prior. I am only asking because I see so many people jumping (not you, but others) on this bandwagon and the reality is there are many people who have thrived on the very things that we are now being told are bad and the reality is those things only became that way after chemicals, etc were introduced to natural elements, like steroids in cows and chickens, pesticides on vegetables, etc. Who is to say that the almonds are not undergoing the same thing and that will be the next thing that is harmful.

  • I aint the one

When I went vegan in HS at 16 I started drinking unsweetened almond and coconut milk as substitutes. But prior to that, I was a HEAVY dairy consumer. There was a dramatic difference once I stopped. Many health conditions cleared up as a result. Now I mostly drink almond milk, cause coconut milk has a weird consistency to me. The way food is processed now (chemicals, hormones, etc.) plays a major role in how it has impacted our health, yes. But aside from that, milk products don't provide any nutritional substance period. The dairy industry's primary claim used to be calcium for healthy bones, but Harvard's study has long since debunked that myth, so....

I tend to jump on my soap box when it comes to nutrition and how most of the diseases and conditions we've encountered are primarily the result of poor diets. But I trying to be less radical with my approach and just encourage people to educate themselves on what they're consuming. Sorry if I offended you, J.

  • SameoleJ

    No offense, educated. Thank you

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

I stopped drinking animal breast milk last year. I tried to drink almond milk but I couldn't get past the taste. ?

  • ladykushkilla

it's called filling out; some babies are chunky because they mother or father might be hell it can go back generations it's not always over feeding. She's adorable

  • Quitedeliteful

She's adorable! I love a nice chubby baby with rolls and dimples all over the place!!!

  • I aint the one

Lol. It's not for everyone. Have you tried unsweetened coconut milk?

  • B.Loveitt

    That baby looks like her.

  • erykahx3

She's still a baby she'll grow out of it. I'll worry if she's walking age and still chubby.
