George Zimmerman

Acquitted murderer George Zimmerman called 911 to report he was assaulted by a man after introducing himself as Trayvon Martin’s killer.

Martin, 17, was executed by Zimmerman after he stalked the teenager through a gated community on February 26, 2012, in Sanford, Florida.

Gossip tabloid TMZ.com reports the incident happened last weekend at Gators Riverside restaurant in Sanford, FL.

According to the transcript of the 911 call obtained by TMZ, Zimmerman told the 911 dispatcher he was explaining to people at his table how he shot Trayvon in self-defense. He says a man who overheard him walked over to his table and asked, “You’re bragging about that?”

Zimmerman said the man threatened to kill him before punching him in the face.

But witnesses contradict Zimmerman’s story.

They say Zimmerman was bragging and introduced himself to someone by saying he was George Zimmerman… “You know, that guy who killed Trayvon Martin?”

The man who punched Zimmerman fled the restaurant before police arrived.
