The Game

Over the weekend, I had a brief conversation with one of my west coast sources. He brought up the silly online beef between washed up hip hop artists Meek Mill, The Game and Sean Kingston.

I told him my readers are grown and educated. They don’t care about lame rappers beefing on social media.

Then he gave me a different perspective on the between Meek Mill, Sean Kingston and The Game.

“Do you notice TMZ writes a lot of stories on The Game?” he said. “That gives [him] the stamp of approval.”

He added: “TMZ found a nigga that’s safe to write about. He runs his mouth… telling [TMZ] e’rything on these rappers out here. He’s a snitch bitch. And TMZ keeps him relevant. He gives TMZ a lot of content.”

He continued:

“They bringing [The Game’s] stock up. When was the last time you heard [a hit] from The Game? He ain’t got nothing going on, and yet TMZ keep writing on him…. Why is that? You already know… Because he’s telling them everything on everybody…. Why would they keep reporting on somebody that ain’t got nothing going on? He’s a safe black for them to write on.”
