Philadelphia death house

A 7-year-old Pittsburgh girl tried for more than a day to wake both of her parents. On Monday morning, she got dressed and rode the bus to school.

On the ride back home, the girl confided in her bus driver that she was afraid to go home because her parents “had not moved” in two days and they were “changing colors,” according to the Allegheny County Police Department.

The bus driver notified the McKeesport Area School District officials, who contacted McKeesport, Pa., police.

When police entered the clapboard house at 5 p.m. on Monday, they found the bodies of Christopher Dilly, 26, and Jessica Lally, 25 in a bedroom.

The couple died from suspected drug overdoses.

Three other children were found unharmed inside the house. The children — ages 5, 3 and nine months old — were evaluated at a hospital and all 4 children were placed with the county department of youth and family services.

Authorities found “evidence of paraphernalia and drug use,” near the bodies.

Police do not suspect foul play in the deaths.
