Reginae Carter Lil Wayne TI Harris

17-year-old Reginae Carter upbraided rap mogul T.I. Harris, 36, after the rapper rebuked her father, Li'l Wayne, on social media.

In a post on Instagram.com, T.I. admonished Li'l Wayne, 34, for going on ABC's Nightline and saying he was not "connected" to the insolent Black Lives Matter movement.

"I don't feel connected to a damn thing that ain't got nothin' to do with me," Wayne said on Nightline.

After reminding Wayne that his daughters practically grew up together, T.I. wrote, "nigga U TRIPPIN!!!!"

Reginae was upset that T.I. chastised her daddy publicly rather than privately by text message.

What? "You lost his number?" she wrote in the comments section of T.I.'s post.

The youngster accused T.I. of "seeking attention" on social media by criticizing her father publicly.

Wayne reportedly tried to stop Nightline from airing the inflammatory interview.

He eventually fired his publicist for failing to talk him out of doing the interview in the first place.

Hopefully, T.I. will realize that Reginae spoke from an emotional place as most teenagers tend to do.

Cooler heads will prevail, and T.I. will understand that Li'l Wayne has as much right to his opinion as everyone else.

Wayne is 37, born 1979.. TI raps about the trap... but black lives matter??

  • Jones

That little girl needs to be quiet and stay in a child's place. Grew up waaaay to fast if you ask me.

  • @djangothegod

    She's on point though.

  • Full Monty

Her and her mother are annoying as fuc! You need be worrying about the fact that your father is strung out!

  • Low E. TUH!

 IT ISN'T 4:55 EST YET?? DAMN GINA! -GOES TO READ-

  • iscream

As the child that TI was referring to as having sleep overs and such she should have had some respect for her elder and minded her business. TI Isn't just some random person on the Gram coming for your dad. He was speaking truth from her heart. Maybe Wayne changed his number after he fired his publicist because she cldnt get that interview pulled. As if she could do that.

Reginee plays Toya sister role so long she think she's grown. OMG = One More Grownass

  • Sucker Free

    Reginae outta order

    * bangs gavel

    sn: I voted today!

  • Lisa daniels

Sandra, you really defending this as teen instability? Pup blue is a spoiled brat who needs worry about graduating high school snd getting to somebody college.

  • pay attention

I agree with Reginae, but she needs to let the adults handle that. Lil Wayne has sons who will grow to become young men. They are not famous, but they ARE black. Lil Wayne better recognize it's HUNTING SEASON on the black man. Wake Up Wayne!!!!!

  • RespectSelf

Though I don't think that she should be coming at a grown man like that... What she said is true. If they really cool like he said they are then he should have text him... And he threw in some shade.

As for Wayne. I think that people need to build a boat and get over it. WHITE people fund black lives matter. Most of the black people who are bent out of shape do not put not a single penny to the movement. Just use the hashtag and put it on a poster...

  • nucynu25

    Bloop

  • Lisa daniels

No, she not. She should have called tip and handing her daddy the phone.

  • Kilroy

A kid needs to stay in a lid's place. With that being said both she and her dad have some growing up to do.

  • LuLu

Did he make his statements privately?

    https://media.giphy.com/media/v3ksmjCsbnJjW/giphy.gif

  • SingleGalCrazyWorld

Wayne was wrong for his statement even though he look high as a kite on the interview. T.I. was wrong for broadcasting it and seeking attention. Reginae (she too pretty for that ghetto azz name) was wrong for not staying in a childs place. Verdict --- 3 way tie---- All they asses are wrong

  • SummerBaby

I think she was wrong to get in this for so many reasons. One reason is her dad is a man & I was taught that you let men handle men.

  • MissHarlem

I was over TI until this right here. Thanks for not being a yes man.

  • nucynu25

A lot of blk ppl Dont agree with BLM . Wayne said more than that ..he said racism doesn't exist ..he basically said since he us a rich MF he can't relate our struggles. This the same MF who want us to cry with him BC Baby taking his money ...

  • @djangothegod

You put yourself out there for all on Social Media.
It's not like she texted him.

  • Libra80sBaby

Aye man listen...TIP prolly had that EXACT look on his face when Reginae came for him. LMaooooooo

  • Buttercup

Toya, come get your child and teach her not to involve herself in adult matters.

  • Libra80sBaby

    ESPECIALLY grown mens chit

  • RaginB

Reginae you know your daddy sounded stupid as the f*ck on national tv.

  • iscream

If you can get on national TV and publicly make statements like Wayne did don't be shocked when the people clap back publicly.

  • SummerBaby

Girl!! Toya & Reginae are best friends. Reginae doesn't know boundaries.

  • nucynu25

She too busy standing on a sofa in somebody sweaty ass club ... wondering if she gave Memphither to many hall passes .

  • @djangothegod

Wayne not going to respond. He stay acting like he didn't say something.

  • hottlanta

Wayne look her bro. There are white folks and their are several black folks, regardless of how much money you have, still don't want your ratchet, ugly, red cup syrupy behind dating their daughters.

  • hi-liter

The fact is Wayne is VERY ignorant. He is all about his money and doesn't want to lose his white fan base. I saw him on ESPN yesterday DJing a football event with nothing but white folks in the audience. That's all he cares about.

  • iscream

And being rich didn't keep his black a$$ out of jail on those gun charges. His brain is fried.

  • Libra80sBaby

    Reginae Carter......Fuk yo Daddy.

  • RespectSelf

But I can respect that. Most of them are so removed from the everyday person struggles. Like why am I or should anyone else be mad that someone kept it real. lol Them celebs don't really bang with the everyday person... they just don't even when they acting like it.

  • Sucker Free

Wayne out here talking reckless...plus he like who gone check me boo?

    TI like I will. CHECK

Reginae like leave my daddy alone. Or text him.

  • Buttercup

    LOL. So true.

  • @djangothegod

You think she helped Wayne write a Birdman diss?

  • Lisa daniels

Who he think his R.kelly? Ninja, all up in the camera on tape. He needed to check his ass in rehab after that ?

  • Libra80sBaby

    syrupy.....BOL!!!

  • SingleGalCrazyWorld

Right!!! Wayne has been on millionaire status for almost twenty years. He hasn't been able to relate to the common black man/woman since before he was eligible to vote. All he need is some white power on his face and hands and he'd damn near be a Caucasian. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/7f71075fa321354fe0c5a7fb50ffb383f186b5c292d610807f6f1d42e651410f.png

  • SummerBaby

Toya or Reginae? Nah, but I think Tiny ghost writes for Tip.

  • Irony

Wayne needs to be publicly scrutinized. His ugly self thinks he's above the law! She should have a seat that reclines, instead of sitting up in grown-ups buiness.

  • SG

Reginae is annoying. The sight of Wayne makes my skin crawl. Yuck!

  • MissHarlem

If ya show your ass in public I'm gonna embarrass you in public -black mama's everywhere.

He thought since he high as a kite that those rules don't apply.

  • Libra80sBaby

    ZACK LEE

  • Zeta Phi Beta 1920

This underage child needs to know her place.
Wayne said it publicly, so he needed to be CORRECTED publicly.

  • Buttercup

One thing I thank MamaButter for is letting me know that she is my parent FIRST, so there is always a level of respect there.

  • YES I SAID IT…

I wish we can go back to the days when children stayed in a child’s place! Like why do this grown asss woman think she should pick a fight and tongue wrestle with a grown behind man, oops I mean why does this young girl think it’s her place to speak up for her father when its supposed to be the other way around. If U ask me T.I. didn't say anything bad about Lil Wayne just stated the fact he didn't agree with his statement about black lives matter.

All I know is I hate social media…

  • Lisa daniels

I guess Sandra is right this time about single mothers. Just this TIME

  • Irony

    He did respond..."fck ya"

  • 88

Both of these c00ns need to be checked.

  • Libra80sBaby

Wayne dealin with a break up from Birdman and he a druggie. He need to do like NORMAL black women when our man leave....cry, cut your hair and listen to Mary J Blige and move the fuk on.

  • SummerBaby

Hush don't let her hear you ?

  • Zeta Phi Beta 1920

No, she is not. This needed to be said publicly. Wayne went on National TV. TI wrote an open letter.

  • RespectSelf

I don't think it's about "people" saying stuff publicly... Its a matter of it yall so close then why you using social media to get a serious message across.

It clearly was for attention of others.... Being as though it was posted on social media. smh

  • Hell_On_Heelz

I am a Wayne FAN, however his children's mothers, close friends (I.e. T.I.) etc, need to schedule some form of intervention before they find Wayne on the floor of a hotel room or on some THOT's apartment floor. ASAP

  • Cares4uWishElectionwasover

Pettty, bitchassness, acting like chicken heads.

    No futher comments.

  • Incog-knee-gress

I said I done started to forgive him over Iggy bc of this. Its a start. Good job Tip.

  • ChocolateChick84

Wayne opened his dumb ass mouth in public, so it's only right that he gets checked publicly. This shouldn't have been the first time that someone responded to his foolishness because he been spouting bs. Reginae needs to stay in her lane....shouldn't she be focused on taking her SATs or something!? I guess Toya mad too or she realizes not to bite the hand that feeds her.

  • RespectSelf

Its that deep huh. damn this is why all of these celebs are sell outs. They support movements and agenda's of people they don't even relate to for the sake of us putting money in their pocket. "we" be so mad when they keep it real. lol

  • SpillyNillie

SAY IT AGAIN! I'm 30+ and it's still certain situations going on in the family that I will not comment on. Yes I rides and dies for moms and pops...but I'm not an elder and I'm still a "chap" in the eyes of my granny, aunts, uncles, etc. It's about R E S P E C T.

  • hi-liter

And although I like Toya, I thought it was stupid of her to go on the Breakfast Club tambout Wayne is in his "own lil world" and doesn't know chit about Black Lives Matter. Bish said he has NEVER experience racism. Let him keep on, one of these white bastards gone try him and make him feel it.

  • Irony

LOL! Cry with him because Baby tossed his salad to the side!

  • Libra80sBaby

Wayne prolly like Skip was in Dead President's "Nah, it aint the heroin, the herion aint neva did nuttin to me."

  • Lisa daniels

Yes, did iggy hop back to Australia? Please say so.

  • nucynu25

It was for others . it was for others to know that he doesn't support or endorse such idiotic comments
We gotta pick a side we mad when they don't say nothing & we mad when they do . It was irresponsible & down right disgusting for Wayne to get on TV & say racism doesn't exist ..The sprites will use that against us , they take notes of this shit ..so he needed to be put in place on the same field he decided to showcase his ignorance .

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Well I don't take sides in other people's disputes because there are always three sides to every situation and only one is the truth and if I didn't witness it myself I ain't commenting on it.

  • Incog-knee-gress

They be sending mutual hate messages (Wayne about Baby and vice versa) and telling their side of the story to Mannie Fresh probably.

  • nucynu25

    ???

  • MissHarlem

I will never forgive him for that but it's a start lol

  • Incog-knee-gress

Bish said he has NEVER experience racism
    ^^^^^^^^^^^
Which is a lie. That fukka was part of the US penal system. If that aint a form of racism and oppression of the young BLACK man, IDK what the hell IS.

  • B.Sweet has e-white privilege

    Never.

  • PRPSP

Wayne is entitled to his opinion regardless how ''odd'' it may seem. Most importantly, his daughter needs to stay in a child's place! That's the problem with these kids nowadays. They wanna ''check'' adults! Stuff like this is why it takes a village! T. I should have told Reginae to mind her manners.

  • Jermaine

Wayne is 34. He was born in 1982. He was 16 when Reginae was born and Toya was 15.

  • Lisa daniels

    The phone call.
Reg: Hey unc Clif, you wanna talk to my daddy?
Tip: Hey reg, yeah he by you?
    Reg:Hold on
    *Daddy, wake up hands phone*

The difference of perception is very real . Maybe you just got here , but I've said countless times that I am not mad at Wayne for having a difference of opioion .If he doesn't support BLM that is totally fine but for your black ass to say racism doesn't exist , while police are shooting us down like rabbits is not fine. Your sarcasm was cute but please read to understand when you respond to me my love .

  • Whiplash(lacejagger)

I use to work for an agency where he was arrested.. he was born in 1979. 1982 is his stage age

  • E-VannaRootsAllEvil

So Sandra u don't think he was out of line??? The way he disrespected the interviewer was insane

  • ShadyBaby

"Thru" and "via" is the same thing. Damn it must be a NO thing or that's Birdmans child low key lol.

  • Incog-knee-gress

Wayne is INDEED entitled to his opinion. DO we have to agree with it? No. Does he have to keep slapping a LARGE part of his musical fan base in the face with it in interviews? No. Can he just say "no comment" like Tip suggested he do in interviews? Yes. Yes he CAN.

  • Angela

Chiiiiile, thank you....Someone needs to find Toya and tell her to come and get her daughter(lil sister) Reginae?....She needs to stay out of GROWN MAN'S BI, daddy or not....

  • ChocolateChick84

I said the exact same thing as I watched the interview. I hope Baby doesn't come up off of one red cent and I could careless if the Carter 5 NEVER sees the light of day. "I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me." That's how it goes, right!?

  • Yardgirl

    This!!^^^??

  • ShelbyMoore

Well she and her parents are just about the same damn age. I wouldn't think they would have taught her anything about staying in a child's place because they were parents since they were about 15.

  • Lisa daniels

Well, maybe she will leave rap alone.

  • nucynu25

    Okay...

  • ShadesofEMPRESS

I agree with you just on the basis I heard that these celebrities lie about their age to appeal to the young audience.

  • nucynu25

My momma had me a wk before she turned 16 & will still light into my ass ..

  • Irony

You're saying that he was an adult and Toya was a minor? Are you willing to go on record? He's a primate, so it wouldn't matter.

  • ShadyBaby

Lol it's true. I'm like damn that club appearance life has to be exhausting.

  • RespectSelf

But simply not posting anything on social media would have still led me to believe that he doesn't support what he said..... unless someone comes to his defense... I would think they not trying to support what he said. So again if you that close and you really wanted to get something across on a real level. Social media is not the platform for that. Yea it makes us feel better-- I guess. But if I had a friend and was really trying to get through to them social media would not be the place.

If he didn't give us to background and all the extra shit... and just said he was tripping and that he didn't agree then OK. But he wanted to break down how close they are only to show us how they not really close??? lol

  • SpillyNillie

Right! And was created for that purpose. Being from New Orleans, Wayne is very aware of racism.

  • MissHarlem

Modern day slavery. That new new racism he experienced first hand. Got arrested in NY for weed when white artists come here and smoke just like that and barely hiding but yet he ain't experience it?! If he don't take his coke head ass on somewhere

  • ShadesofEMPRESS

I can't stand when a mother wants to be her daughter friend instead of a mom. Smdh it's ridiculous and then as soon as she disrespect the mom they act brand new.

  • Incog-knee-gress

He also tried to LIE in his subsequent BACKTRACKING. and said that questions about Reginae upset him and this is why he said what he said about BLM. I have a problem with that. Say you flubbed the question but dont lie about it.

"However, sources said the clips were cut closely together, but in real-time, Wayne was smiling and appeared to be in good spirits for about 15 minutes between the two topics. The question about the "Black Lives Matter" was asked at the tail-end of the interview, according to a source."

  • NYTimes#1Bestseller

Social media ruining friendships one rapper at a time.

  • nucynu25

I understand your point I simply disagree .. Silence is consent , or in this case agreeance.

  • Yoni

I don't need this to become a "thing". Another rappers "lover's quarrel". A distraction. He said what he said. We know where he stands and how he feels about it. No need to "try and figure him out". He just made it easier for folks to stay or go with his fan base. There are people in Michigan with dirty water. There is a pipeline being built on sacred Indian land. We have over "THINGS" to worry about.

  • ShelbyMoore

I swear Reg and Toya be worried about the wrong thing. They don't have anything to say about Wayne's drug use, nor did they have anything to say about Mephitz obviously being gay. Reg needs a swift kick to the stomach so she can learn to be a child.

  • MsSincerity

I can't stand T. I for all of a sudden trying to play this "I'm for my people" role, when his whole career was based off of drugs and violence....against his own. People can change their lives, but at least apologize for your role in the destruction of your own people and vow not to rap about it again, instead of popping up out of nowhere, trying to be a civil rights hero. With that being said....Reginae should've stayed her ole stumpy azz out of it, because she was looking for attention her damn self by posting that. Stay in your lane little girl.

lol as I said we be mad when they keep it real. So ok your not upset about what he said about black lives matter... you are upset about something else he said... And that is usually how it goes.

There are people who think that racism today is not real. That it is all in our heads. He is a rich rapper who had been rich for years. How many rich black folks getting gun down???? How many top celebs getting gun down???? So we mad because a rich black rapper that got white people giving him money doesn't live in a world where he see's racism??? He doesn't... that's just his truth.

  • SoChlo

I agree that little Wayne is intelligent. His music may not be everyone's cup of tea but you can't deny the talent. I don't think it was a publicity stunt, he just sucks at interviewing and doesn't realize he needs to put as much thought into his interviews as he does his raps. Acting like a child because you didn't like the previous question is Juvenile (not the rapper?).

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

This is a PRIME example of kids acting way too grown..this here tween two grown menz..hell she got to say about this ish? saddown NAE NAE...

  • BKLYNS MAMA

hell, I seen a pic of Regine...she look like she go hard with the weed and black and milds...

  • Incog-knee-gress

Not eem just grown folks. TWO MEN. Girl if she dont need to have a seat or 15.

  • Irony

    *waiting on confirmation*

  • Rayne

Stay in a child's place young lady. That is between men. Wayne is going to lead his daughter nowhere with that type of mentality.

  • Keya #AndYouWillDeal

Yes!!! I wish Ju would. She would get snatched up so quick!!!

  • Rayne

    Just said this.

  • RespectSelf

true, I disagreed with what he said... but I ain't bent out of shape about it... It is what it is. I honestly think that if all of them celebs weren't afraid to lose money. NOBODY would like half the shit they really had to say about stuff.

  • Keya #AndYouWillDeal

She's a prime example of parents who can't parent. And if I was Zonique (sp) I'd be on her phone reading the shyt outta her. DONT come sideways at my damn deddy. That's why we kicked your non singing ass out of the group.

  • B.Sweet has e-white privilege

    Keya has spoken. lol

  • Let Your Soul Glow

And it's not even an age thing. Let me try to insert my opinion in a disagreement between my mama and my auntie. They will both cuss my 30-something self all the way out and go right back to their discussion.

  • nucynu25

    Exactly

  • Incog-knee-gress

Zonnique has no room tho. I was a tad bit irked when she did this SAME thing few months ago. Jumped in between Tiny and the stepmom going at it.

  • Keya #AndYouWillDeal

    This.

  • ShadyBaby

    ????

  • Libra80sBaby

Then yall seen Wayne response to TIP?? He put on Twitter, "Fk ya". Like this nigga so high he can't even add a 'u'....smh....nigga

  • Let Your Soul Glow

Agreed. BOTH of them need to stay out of grown folks business.

  • nucynu25

Its a matter of respect ..Nae clearly has none .

  • Incog-knee-gress

    This right on here.

  • Keya #AndYouWillDeal

Yeah that was a mess too

  • Low E. TUH!

    FORGOT ABOUT, YET REMEMBER THIS...

  • Libra80sBaby

  • BKLYNS MAMA

right... I just said that down below...Reginae appears to have no freakin' guidance...last pic I seen her in...she look high as hell...like she sit around and smoke weed all damn day....

  • Let Your Soul Glow

YES!!!!! Exactly. But I've seen her get the flip mouth on social media before so none of this is surprising to me.

  • Incog-knee-gress

Cheryl the stepmama to Nique tried to air Tiny biz out. It was UGLY. Really ugly. Tiny wont eem doing nothing. It was over Tip claiming Nique as his daughter.

  • Low E. TUH!

    -COUGH- GHOSTWRITERS -COUGH-

  • nucynu25

I thought Zo response was alil more tactful .. Idk maybe BC we talking bout grown ass men ..

  • Low E. TUH!

    LMAO! ALLADIS!

  • CapricornIce

People expected Lil Wayne to actually have something deep & intelligent to say? He let a decade pass by before he even realized that Birdman was stealing his money.

  • Incog-knee-gress

I was always of mindset that Wayne one of the onliest ones left from that 99 into 2000 era...who actually wrote his own stuff. IDK. Maybe not?

  • nucynu25

Nah , am mad at him but Wayne really talented .

  • Let Your Soul Glow

More tactful, perhaps, but still out of her lane. I'm not cool with airing family business in public period. But I will cuss you all out in the group chat.

  • Vonn

Wayne needs rehab. Lay off of the green, lean & everything in between.

  • nucynu25

Nah, Wayne been spitting . His first album he wasn't even cursing ..

  • Incog-knee-gress

Also it was her own FAMILY and they were talking ABOUT her. The whole blow up was over HER. So I give it a SMALL pass for that too Nucy. Still dont like kids in the milla of stuff.

  • Incog-knee-gress

    Just said this.

  • Low E. TUH!

HE'S DEFINITELY THAT - I'M NOT TAKING AWAY FROM THAT AT ALL...BUT SOME OF THESE GHOSTWRITERS HAVE BEEN WELL DOCUMENTED.

  • nucynu25

    OK ..same here .

  • nucynu25

    Agreeded ??

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

That WHHEEED n that purple had his mouf rolling faster than his mind had time to put a filter on it..but they do say a drunk mouth speaks a sober mind. so I weirdly think he thinks cuz he has gotten main stream (commercials n shyt) massa ain't oppressing him no more! smh..

  • Incog-knee-gress

THIS. Yes. I love Wayne. He is mad talented and I always felt intelligent as well. I feel betrayed lol.

  • BKLYNS MAMA

Dis nigga Wayne aint got shyt to say, NOW abt BLM or any black ISSUES...cuz he need TOUR money=white ppl money....espcially since Birdman aint letting his ass release ANY new music...and didt the IRS seize shyt in house for back taxes and dont he OWE folks cash money for jet rental, cars...

  • Keya #AndYouWillDeal

Knowing me I would of called my gf up on the phone though. Like uhh my daddy did what? But your right.

  • nucynu25

Not a decade ..Wayne & Baby been going through it . Wayne was about to leave years ago ...he was abt to sign to the ROC back in the day ..

  • Low E. TUH!

HE WROTE MOST OF THE EARLY STUFF...500 DEGREEZ...IT SOUNDS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE CARTERS, THE DEDICATIONS, THE DROUGHTS...ETC. I'M A WAYNE HEAD, GUCCI HEAD, WAKA HEAD...JUST A MUSIC HEAD! BUT...GILLY THE KID WROTE THE FIRST CARTER...I'VE HEARD DRAKE HAD A HEAVY HAND IN CARTER 3...THE GUY CAN RAP...WRITING MAY BE A DIFFERENT STORY.

  • Yoni

Specially when jail is one of your second homes.

  • RespectSelf

I'm not saying he should be silent. I'm saying that if they were as close as he try to say... then he should have hit him up privately. Not use this as an opportunity to gain fans/support from people who are upset about what he said.

My only problem is that he tried to make it seem like they cool when they clearly not. Makes him look fake as f$@K in "real life"

  • nucynu25

Gilly the kid been saying that but where the proof ? WMatter fact , Wayne Dont even write ..he freestyles every thing of the head said he wanted to be like Jay & saw Jay go into the booth with out a pen & pad . Low am a Weezy fan fr fr ..

  • THE Queen

TOTALLY agree. TI talks out of both sides of his face and he worships satan through how he teaches young men how to the WRONG THINGS IN LIFE. Bottom line. Wayne is a crackhead in a lot of ways. with or without smoking crack itself, he is a junky. His daughter is a young kid who has no idea what she is talking about. He father supports satanic worship and activities. She needs to stay out of grown mens business. but then again her daddy skewed and skiddaddled on her momma. wayne gave you money and things but never a home under 1 roof little girl.
money aint bring you an answer to wayne drug induced illness, so what he has money but he having seizures and can't stop that with is money, he has scribbled all over himself like a lunatic, bottom line is that TI is waking up.. come on home daddy. with his cute self

  • JustB

She should stay in a child's place...

  • Let Your Soul Glow

Interesting... Now some you have to attribute some of this to growth and evolution. No artist's sound is exactly the same after some years because the same hunger isn't there the way it is when they first get put on. But the ghost-writing...I can believe. I don't care about rappers using ghost-writers though. Most singers don't write their own music. **shrugs** I just wanna hear good music.

  • Libra80sBaby

I'm still gone bump that "Tha Carter" tho, LIL ugly dude.

  • Incog-knee-gress

    +1. Not opposed to it.

  • Wuts got Petty Davis Eyes..

This is dangerous too. They are both passionate bout their kids too. I am glad TI refrained from responding. This would have started a whole new level of shiggity.. Kids can add to stuff necessarily! Thats why they say kifd stay in your place!

  • Incog-knee-gress

Just like Dr. Dre aint get kicked out of my listening round up...Wayne stays. I would have to get rid of everyone just like I said about Dr. Dre...that is "Wayne adjacent". That is A LOT of folks. Nope. Wayne stays.

  • nucynu25

That is NOT a truth it is his opinion. Truth is that rasicm is very pervelant. Stastics show that blk ppl are still being enslaved by the penal system . Stastics show that we are being discrinated against ... So excuse me for not responding to his opinions as factual .As I said before peceception varies but his perception does not make his opinions truthful. As long as his blk ass still has blk skin our issues will always be his issues. Now if he chooses to be oblivious to the state of this country in regards yo racism , so he it ..but one day he will be reminded or maybe his kids will get a reminder . CHICKENS ALWAYS COME HOME TO ROOST .

  • TOO REAL

Stay in a child's place and let the men handle this.

  • Ridingfinest

One thing I love about Reginae is she will come to her fathers defense not matter what...don't talk about her daddy. But since she grew up in and around T.I. household she should have kept her opinion off Social Media. This issue is between to grown men and not a child.

  • Bossy704

T.I. has a right to say what he wants where he wants to say it especially in response to something Wayne said publicly. These celebrities who don't identify with objecting to the mass genocide of Black Men at the hands of police, like Fantasia, Bow Wow and now Wayne, need to learn to keep their mouths shut.

  • Sucker Free

    50 minutes for me

  • Genia

His comment wasn't private, in fact it was national. So why should the chastising have been anything other than public. Now he's embarrassed? In the meantime, how about we get back to teaching our children to stay out of grown folks business.

  • pika12

Ignorance is not a defense. People should stop making excuses for him and repeatedly giving him a pass. If he wants to play dumb then the community should do the same when he releases something or comes to your area on tour.

  • Full Monty

I know like they are ignoring it. His heart can't take much more of it. He seem real real strung out though! She need a kick in the belly and her ass. She always been too grown. I didn't like the way she was coming after Christina Millan who is a grown woman. Her mother should have put her in place then!

  • morenYAHdelsur

    Real

  • jayhawkpride

Tip doesn't have to be perfect, but he shouldn't be chastising Wayne about his BLM comment if he's going to continue to make songs detrimental to black lives!!

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

Wow you certainly are obsessed with me and my life?
You need to get a clue and a hobby.

  • yallcrazy

I agree. I'm sick of this trap music, shoot em up music, sex her and leave her music. Its not all the reason for the bad things in our race but it damn sho is a contributing factor. I grew up on it and loved it...used to bump Too Short. But many people can't decipher what's real and what ain't. They will sit there and try to live that life and think it's cute.

  • 6ue$$imh8n

She should have stayed in a child's place this is a sensative beef between 2 grown men who suppose to be friends. From watching her interviews she seems to be a spoiled lil false sense of entitlement lil brat

  • Pam

She seems the type that would call an adult by their first name. It's the parents fault though.. That child has always been way too grown..

  • Readytochokemothernatureonout

Though she was correct she needs to stay in a child's place.

  • Sayitreal

Sooo sick of this no neck funny lookin child. Yeah I Said it.

  • Fendi aka Erin Blockabitch

That, and the fact that T.I. is responsible for that racist half-wit Iggy Australia having a damn career. NOW he wants to fake "pro-Black," but he didn't give a damn about Black lives himself when he was selling drugs and stockpiling caches of illegal weapons. He didn't give a damn about Black lives when he had some white troll on tv and stages as the Al Jolson of rap with her manufactured "Southern" accent telling people she is their master and they are her slaves. People should lead by example. Your words are empty IMO if your actions don't mirror them.

  • mela.reign77

I understand where she's coming from, this is her dad. However do I agree with what he said, not one time. The way T.I handled it was not right either, reason being they are friends and this is something he should have felt comfortable calling him about to have a sit down. It bothers my soul how people are so quick to run to social media for every little thing. I swear I hate the way people misuse it at times. For personal attention, or their soap box. Lil Wayne has every right to voice his opinion even though it doesn't make sense to any sane person. Buy hey we are speaking about Wayne, right? * Kayne shrugs*

  • Denise Sanders Moore

I totally agree! She can stand by her dad but keep her opinion to herself. Why does Wayne get a pass? T.I went in on Mayweather when he made his ignorant comments.

  • Passion

    Eww, his teefus!

  • Tiffany Miller

I felt the same. If the two of you were such great friends, then why not make a simple phone call? I would never denounce my real friends in public... and I wouldn't do it by phone. If we helped raise each others kids then that would result in me making a visit to you and have a private conversation. No need to tell the world you are against a true friend. Shady!!!!

  • Queen of EVERYTHING

    Sounds right to me.

  • Scromes1212

Just asked a question. I only refrenced your life cause you put it out there.

  • Alexis Carson

LIL WAYNE IS NOT 37 YEARS OLD!

  • Alexis Carson

Right. I was abut to say.

  • the guest

And she spoke in respectful tone, defending her dad, but also respecting TI as an elder. Her comment was sincere and proper.

  • the guest

I always felt her mother dressed her and styled her hair too grown. She is only 17 but has the look of a 30 year old. She's not risque or anything like that. Just grown looking, like she's her mother's friend when they shop for clothes.

  • Nina Ross

Wayne & Reginae should change their avatars to #DarrenSeals

  • Scromes1212

Gilly wrote two and a half songs lol you reaching. And how Drake going to write for Wayne lol stop it. People been helping Drake since his first mixtape. That's facts. You speculating.

  • Low E. TUH!

DEBATE, DEBATE, DEBATE! <<<< DID YOU SEE THAT WORD BEFORE YOU REPLIED???? IT'S ALSO A MATTER OF QUALITY AND CONTENT. IF YOU STAND FOR NOTHING YOU'LL FALL FOR ANY DAMN THING! AGANE I SAY - DEBATE.

  • Whiplash(lacejagger)

Ok well I guess his government ID (passport
And state issued) were a lie. Not only did I see this info, I also was a fan of the hot boys back in 97' when they were underground. He was 18 then.. but ok

  • Whiplash(lacejagger)

Where in my comment did I say anything about being perfect.

  • Scromes1212

I was just pointing out the obvious. There is no way in my humble opinion the Drake wrote anything for Wayne. The first major song Drake put out Kia Shine wrote for him, that's documented. I love both Drake and Wayne but to question Wayne's pen this late in the game is bogus.

  • Louisville Is4TheBirds

    Listen to country then

  • yallcrazy

Please go back in Bossip with the ignorance and immature comments. I swear this site has changed since she's let the gate open. A bunch of ignorant ass weirdos in here now smh

  • Diva_woman

So should Denzel Washington also not say anything about black lives matter because he plays in movies where he kills people with guns. Yall are so dumb and self-hating I can't even have a conversation with yall.

  • Diva_woman

You're putting qualifiers on him caring about black lives. As if someone's art form negates their heart from caring about things. I guess any movie stars who killed someone in a movie or used foul language can't donate to charity either? Your comment makes no sense...

  • Diva_woman

So I'm guessing Denzel Washington or anyone else who has participated in an art form that's "detrimental" to black lives don't care either? Only black people have to be qualified to care about things, yall are some sick self-hating people I swear.

  • AL Dunbar

Denzel is a actor so are you saying most rappers are actors ?

  • AL Dunbar

i think everyone with a brain is sad how the artform has been destroyed.

But since you want to negate it, it's an oxy moron, to brag about pimping, hoing, selling dope, and killing your own people, but then you get mad when your counterpart isn't on board with blm. Oh how I wish that we were who our grandparents were, or back in the 90's when there were increase the peace rallie, that included protesting black on black crimes and police brutality!

I agree, that's why I do not care about Lil' Wayne's comments. He is speaking his truth. He was biting the hands that fed &/ feed him with his comments but; he just letting people know that he doesn't really care about them outside of them supporting him & keeping him rich. He cares about his family and people he actually knows. There are other musicians/celebrities/etc. who think the same but, they will not admit it publicly. Some people have mastered the art of (faking the funk)...giving back to those who give to them even if they really do not care...they are more respectful of fans and etc. but; really...the rich want to become richer and or maintain, they do not want to take any losses that will not multiply back to them.

  • The ghost of Naomi’s edges

I believe you, when I said I worked with a certain celeb who had a fat graft with her pregnancy fat to her butt, I caught some "Fade" it's just crazy to me how some people believe the hype.

  • Scromes1212

I agree with you about Kia. But I never heard about Drake writing anything for Wayne. Like you said agree to disagree.

  • Shira Harding-James

I agree....just like he said they have a relationship aside from the music. Pick up the phone and call him up. Be reginae shouldnt address adults, better yet men in anyway. Let her father handle that. Toya did say that Wayne is in his own little world, and means no harm in majority of the things he says, I believe she's right.

  • Rain

Totally Agree! Some are giving back but, what good is it to give back and turn around and refill communities with bs (as far as music is concerned)?

  • Low E. TUH!

    ALSO -
Memphis rapper Kia Shine owns a portion of one of Drake’s breakout hits, “Best I Ever Had.” Many experts suggest it’s because he produced a song for Lil Wayne called “Do if For The Boy” in which Wayne’s first verse seems to be the reference for Drake’s melody on “Best I Ever Had.”
    -
...HE DIDN'T HELP PROD OR PEN "REPLACEMENT GIRL" WHICH WAS THE FIRST DRAKE SONG I EVER HEARD. AND BACK ON TOPIC (AFTER SEARCHING RECENT HITS TO THIS) I CAME ACROSS GILLY, SPITTA, DRAKE, AND MINAJ AS GHOSTWRITERS FOR WAYNE...TO NAME A SLIGHT FEW.

    AGREED.

  • MScommunication

Everyone has a different black experience tbh. Perhaps Lil Wayne was speaking about his. I know we are 2nd class citizens but I turn my face from it many times in order to live my life. Sometimes you don't know until you know.

  • stanley

I'm a firm believer that a Child should stay in a Child's place... I'm 36 years old, and even though I'm grown I still dont' step inbetween fights between the elder members of my family out of respect. Wayne's kids wasn't raised right..... But duh.. Look at how wayne is lol

  • Rain

It's all about money, bottom line. When people do good, especially Rich people...others do not want to believe that they are doing it with ulterior motives. Just because it does not "come off" like that or "appear" that way. Alot of things seem genuine until you realize there's a bigger picture you are not privy to.

  • Scromes1212

I don't disagree Wayne had ghost writers, I just never saw a song Drake was credited for. Are you defending Drake not having ghost writers or just elaborating on your original point? This is a very important question lol I think we both agree Wayne is not 2006 Wayne.

  • Fendi aka Erin Blockabitch

I don't need to be privy to anything to comment about what I see and what people speak about in their own lives. By T.I.'s own admission, he was a career felon with multiple gun charges and drug charges on his record. We know where he was selling drugs and to whom he was selling them.

To act like a braggart and say, "We are living in his and her mansions while separated" is an insult to every hardworking person who could've sold their people up the river and not given a damn about their fellow man. We all could've been in the streets selling drugs, shooting people, possessing illegal weapons, etc. We made better choices not to be a detriment to others.

He has nerve to say anything to Wayne when Wayne has been working since Wayne was a child - legitimately working. Maybe Wayne doesn't view racism as a problem because of his fan base. Maybe Wayne acknowledges the fact that when you make poor choices, act irresponsibly and are arrested, the "racism" card isn't always the best card to play. IDK and IDC.

Ultimately, all people's lives matter, but with that said, you can't devalue Black lives then make the assertion that ALM. No one person's live is more "valuable" or "significant" than the next.

  • Rain

I was agreeing with you @Fendi, I did not mean it the way you took it. My apologies, my reply to you was me agreeing & also replying to something I read from someone else below, who said something about black people wanting other black people to be perfect or whatever. I should not have combined comments.

  • Fendi aka Erin Blockabitch

Then I apologize to you as well. I saw that comment and we are definitely in agreement.

I'm so over the notion that people can pull a "do as I say and not as I do" and still be respected for it.

It's no different than celebs campaigning for "Rock The Vote," only to find that several of them were not legally able to vote. How can you impress responsibility onto others that you are not or cannot adhere to yourself?

  • Rain

Exactly! I especially agree with the last part that you said, "...you cannot devalue Black lives then make the assertion that ALM. etc" I completely agree with this, this is something I was trying to tell an associate of mine (a minority as well but, not black) and they did not understand where I was coming from...that you cannot dismiss a Black persons perception of a situation of another person or etc. showing some bias, etc. as them just complaining, trying to stir the pot, and or etc. when you fail to understand certain facts about Black History, & etc.
Sorry, that doesn't have anything to do with what's at hand Lol, I was just like ahhh, what I was saying plain and simple (to my associate) when I read the end of your comment.

  • Moon Lee

Little girl stay in your lane! This some grown-up shit! How about your father shouldn't be high doing interviews!

  • Fendi aka Erin Blockabitch

People love to say "ALL" yet act like we are not a part of ALL.

I'm sick of people being dismissive of us and devaluing us as humans beings. I made a comment on Bossip about good things pertaining to Black women being attributed to "Black girl magic" when it's Black girl MERIT. People of all races and nationalities act surprised if you're Black, female, educated, articulate, multilingual, don't have children out-of-wedlock, aren't mired in debt, don't live in the "ghetto," etc. It's horrible that in your level of normalcy, others will project you as being some sort of mythical creature because you don't fit the molds of their stereotypes about PoC, WoC or you as one or both of the aforementioned.

The stereotypes about Black people are ALWAYS negative. It's never that we are good at math, have an abundance of resources, etc. It's always, "How do YOU know French?" "You took Calculus?" "You don't have children?!." FOH.

Then, add to that the non-Black people who give you their unsolicited opinions about your race when they have no clue wtf they're speaking about. It's beyond anything most people can or will ever be able to fathom.

    We are >here<.

  • Rain

YESSSSS! MY SENTIMENTS exactly!!!! Want to "include" & still exclude us. I'm sick of that bs. Then when we fight for rights (Black people) we do not ever actually exclude anyone, but; they (some, not all, other minorities) cannot be bothered with standing for those who stood & stand for them. We are ?

  • Fendi aka Erin Blockabitch

People will compare homosexuality to being Black when they're not synonymous. I can't always tell when someone is gay, but even if they are transparent in complexion, I know a Black person when I see them. It's just something unspoken...

The LGBT community piggybacks off of the civil rights movement of the 1960's, yet they are some of THE most racist mfs on the planet. Those gay white men want the right to marry each other. It's still a move for white "supremacy" and domination, even amongst the gays. They don't care about women, race aside and they sure don't care about Black men, beyond wanting a BBC. They fetishize, but they don't RESPECT, love or accept.

People are really seeking "tolerance" in (almost) 2017. TOLERANCE. They're seeking "equality" over EQUITY. Then they wonder why their fights are in vain.

To hell with fighting for a collective. I'm fighting for me and my immediate circle. If you want something done right, you do it yourself and if you want to be successful, you do it well.

  • KIm

I wish Reginae would stop acting so damn grown and fighting everybody for her daddy...since she care so much she should let Wayne know to stay off that sizzurp before he catch a fatal seizure

  • 19awesomegrl97

    okay!

  • 19awesomegrl97

    stay in a child place!

  • 19awesomegrl97

    RIGHT

  • Diva_woman

I'm saying rap is an artform and acting is an artform. Some movies are based off of true events just as some rap songs are but both are entertainment. If you cannot understand that expression and reality are not always the same then I don't know what to tell you.

  • Diva_woman

You're lost and don't seem to want to be found. BLM protest for injustices, such as: killing of unarmed blacks on tape and getting rewarded with hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations, paid vacation from your job, and never having to step foot in a courtroom. Please point to the black man you find who kills another black man and appreciates those benefits? You clearly don't understand the movement, so instead of being ignorant you can "stfu" and read to try to understand before speaking on things that you simply don't get. TI can express his art form how he sees fit, just like actors or poets, or painters, or singers can without it negating their right to empathize with those who are oppressed and murdered in the streets on video tape without having to answer for it. I'm yet to see where white Americans are incapable of caring about kids getting killed because they choose to go to war with countries outside of the US, that's a little oxymoronic don't you think? I guess we all should sit back and let black men get killed without anyone answering for it, I think we're all guilty of watching a movie with murder in it or singing along with a song about pimps. Black lives don't matter, kill them all! I guess unless you are perfect you can't have empathy for anyone else's life.

  • Whiplash(lacejagger)

Girl please, Andrew Young, and countless of other real civil rights leaders feel the same way as I do. Marches and uproars when a white cop or cop kills a black person, but silent when blacks kill blacks everyday. Go ahead and drink the cool aid of fake Deray, wanna be celebrity a$$. Wanna get schooled, you can visit me in the history department of the illustrious Clark Atlanta University. I can tell you're young, you don't know how to debate, without being insulting and rude.

  • kekeb

TI should have publicly shamed him!!! Clearly Birdman and whoever else knows him well won't say anything out loud.

  • kekeb

Soooooo, Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys are the only ones who can say Black Lives Matter? Lmao. OKkkk

  • Lorenzo Chaps

    Dear Black People,

All black people do not support all things black people. Again, all black people do not support all things black people. You have Pepsi, you have Coke. We move on.

BLM, per Wayne, has nothing to do with him. I'll be so glad when we get to the point of being ok to disagree respectfully with an opinion contrary to our own. If you're black Republican, you're a coon or sell out. Like in what phuckin world would everyone that identifies with a race or whatever ethnicity be of the same political mindset? My family wrote off y'all other favorite, the NAACP, decades ago when we realized they were FOS. It was during this time we learned what Jesse and Al really stood for as well.

My only issue was his apparent high on something. Other than that, this is life people. From your professor to hell your mom/dad, we don't and will never believe in unison simply because we all id with a group, race, ethnicity, etc.

    Reginae, sit down.

  • AL Dunbar

It is Hip Hop not rap and when it started in new york city it was to escape reality not talk about trapping and drugs.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

TI's post only implied 'hey, you're black, why don't you see this the way every other black person sees it?' We're the only community that's one or none on too many things. It's crazy.

  • nucynu25

    Yesssss

  • Nancy Drew Wants U 2 Fall Back

Tip tried it. Didn't he imply that 'we' were being racist when he finally got called out for the minstrel show that was Icky Azzstralia? Lol! How about y'all both STFU? ???

    #Pot&Kettle

  • the conscious one

Right, she needs to go sit down. Her dad is the dumb ass that made this public. He should've done like T.I. said and said no comment. Reading some of these comments I feel sad for the future, some of ya'll are ignorant as hell.

  • Nancy Drew Wants U 2 Fall Back

    Get outta my head gal!!!!??

  • Shanayeblanco38

TI is a coon for this

  • Stl_heat

She should stay in a lil girls place. Despite what she thinks 17 is still a child. Hell so is 18 if you living in my house.

  • Stl_heat

And wayne daughter shouldnt be addressing a grown man.

  • BLOODBLOOD

    ????

  • http://thedevereauxshow.com/ Ms.Devereaux

Thank you I'm sick of these folks lying about their ages you clearly look 40 plus I know how old I was when you dropped your music or came on the scene and you were older than me then so how you my age or a year or two older now? All things I say and questions I ask to Kim k , jayz, Beyoncé,Wayne, tiny,ti Heck all these so called celebrities and industry folk

  • http://thedevereauxshow.com/ Ms.Devereaux

All the time it's called industry age !!! Why you think jayz been in his 40's for 15 years and Beyoncé ain't passed 30 ? Now I like them both but let's just honest let's just be real

  • Dolemite

    coonchi !!!!

  • Shira Harding-James

    OMG yes, I totally agree!!

  • Shira Harding-James

    As she should!!

  • S T

Beyoncé, I love her, but gawd knows she's every bit of 38!!

  • S T

Wait. Your screen name though!!! ????? I love Naomi, but I laughed a lil, can't lie. ????????

  • Myopinion4u

If Lil Wayne can say stupid ? like that in public (national tv) then T.I can chastise him in public. I'm glad he did that!!!!!!

  • Opinionated But Fair

About the fact that he could be speaking to Wayne directly instead of publicly posting it for attention.

I have no issue with what she said. She didn't attack him harshly...she stated a fact.

  • Opinionated But Fair

Why should she keep her opinion to herself? T.I. has a right to air his opinion publicly but she should be seen and not heard? Is this 1950?

  • Opinionated But Fair

I think that's stupid. She has a right to have an opinion and she didn't say anything off the wall. There's no reason TI couldn't have called or texted him. He wanted kudos and publicity.

  • Opinionated But Fair

Why? Tip didn't call her daddy! Why's he getting a pass? Just because you agree with his opinion?

  • Opinionated But Fair

That's dumb. Do you REALLY believe a PUBLIC post was his only way to contact Wayne? YOU agree with Tip so that makes it ok, huh? #Hypocrite

  • Opinionated But Fair

She's exercising her right to free speech just as TI did. You only have a problem with it because you disagree with Wayne.

  • Opinionated But Fair

That's just ridiculous. So every other black person who doesn't publicly post agrees with Wayne? Please....

  • Opinionated But Fair

They don't want to see the truth because they are hypocrites. T.I. wanted the publicity and the applause from BLM supporters. If he was TRULY concerned, he'd reach out to him FIRST. Then and only then would he say something publicly. But since they agree, they want to pretend like that's ok and makes sense that he goes straight to social media. Smh

  • Opinionated But Fair

Ok, I can respect your statement because you acknowledge that he did the same thing first. I don't blame her at all for standing up,for her daddy when it seems like everyone's against him, but I can understand you saying she's too young.

  • Opinionated But Fair

I agree 100%. I've never liked either of them musically and I've never understood how women can dance along to songs that degrade us.

  • Keya #AndYouWillDeal

Please don't assume you know what I'm disagreeing with. Thanks.

  • Opinionated But Fair

I don't disagree with that but that doesn't mean TI shouldn't have talked to his "friend" directly.

  • Opinionated But Fair

I'm guessing this Zonique person is TIs daughter...Well if so shed be dumb to say something to Reginae because I'm sure she'd do the same for her daddy. TI started this by being a lame excuse for a friend.

  • Opinionated But Fair

That's dumb. No, if he's publicly an idiot but he's your friend you tell him privately to stop being an,idiot. You don't use him for publicity and pats on the back with your hypocritical rant. TI sold poison to his ppl and raps about violence. He's got no room to judge.

  • Opinionated But Fair

Uh no. He was guilty of a crime and they locked him up for it. That's not him experiencing racism. It's called taking accountability for your actions.

  • Opinionated But Fair

Why even respond when these ppl shoe how ridiculous they are? How are you obsessed with his life when you asked 1 question to see if he's being a hypocrite?

  • Opinionated But Fair

Exactly why Reginae said something! TI used this situation to score points with simple folks that believe he really gives a care about the black community!

  • Opinionated But Fair

TI doesn't make art!!! TI strings together mumbles and random phrases and sprinkles them with misogyny and violence and you suckers make excuses for it because he periodically throws on some glasses and starts using big words that he clearly doesn't even understand since he doesn't know how to use them properly.

But you call other ppl lost for seeing through him? Ok

  • Opinionated But Fair

Anybody that refers to TI's music as art can't be reasoned with. That person compare him to a painter?! And tried to act like Denzel playing a role in a movie puts him in the same category? Yeah ok....

  • Opinionated But Fair

You referred to TI as "correcting" Wayne, which indicated he was wrong. It's called context clues. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

  • jayhawkpride

I don't have a problem with him chastising him. However, if he's going to continue to make trap music, he is no better!! It's hypocritical!!

  • Genia

    perfect

  • sunni_daze

This child should really stay out of grown folks business. But thats what happens you are their friend.

  • Chile_Pleeze

    he think we forgot.. #NeverForget

  • Chile_Pleeze

why is she responding to an adult like that? isn't she still UNDER 18?? What happened to "stay in a child's place" ?? Let her father or mother reply.. or am I too old fashioned???

  • Chile_Pleeze

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. I responded before I saw your post

  • Chile_Pleeze

i have several pre-k seats for her to sit...

  • Glorious Sun

This Lil bitch (cause Wayne see no problem in calling other women BITCHES) need to stay outta grown folks business and go figure out what her hair color of the week will be.

  • Denise Sanders Moore

Because in my opinion she is still a child compared to T.I age. Just because you are 17-18 years does not make you an adult in my opinion. You are still not mature enough to make certain decisions. WTH the 50's got to do with it? Absolutely nothing. Even at 34 years old when my mom has a problem with her friends she always told me to stay out of the matter because I have nothing to do with it. They are my elders and I still owe them respect. PERIOD!

  • Opinionated But Fair

Ok, I respect that. Many other ppl acted like TI is above criticism or that Wayne is too beneath them to be defended.

I disagree only because no adults are having his back so she's just being devoted to her daddy...but I totally see where you are coming from.

  • Opinionated But Fair

I mentioned the 1950s because some of these commenters sound like white ppl when black ppl were trying to integrate schools and stuff. To hear them tell it, Reginae should be practically kissing TIs feet!

  • Denise Sanders Moore

LOL well that's a little far kissing T.I's feet. She definitely owes him nothing. Just like TI looked out for her while her dad was away Wayne did the same exact thing. She owes him nothing. Trust me I still give my mom friends the side eye but it's a respect factor and what friendship never have a difference of opinions. Just like in relationships when you are beefing. You have to learn what to tell and what not tell to your family members because when the beefing stops. You forget but the family members don't. They will be making another song very soon.

  • Opinionated But Fair

Ppl act like she went off on him though. All she said was that the conversation should've been held privately. She didn't hit below the belt or just start attacking him.

I definitely hear you though because my Mom and her best friend fell out but even though I was over 25, I felt it wasn't my place to comment. But if her friend was publicly blasting her...Idk....

  • AListDiva29

Tip is a celebrity, therefore he doesn't need to constantly seek attention, that's what your doing by interjecting yourself into grown folks business, so umm no little girl have a seat!

  • Chuck

This little ugly troll needs to sit her grown acting arse down somewhere. Too bad she has no role models; otherwise, she would have stayed in her lane. This is what happens when you become a parent at age 14 (Toya & Wayne's mom gave birth at age 14).

  • Chuck

    38? I was thinking 42.

  • JustRight13

But he was like 13 when he came out. 16 looks better...

  • JustRight13

If that were true than no one could correct anyone.

  • Kendra green

Reginae needs to stay in a child's place and let the adults hash this out

  • Alisa

Stay outta grown folks business. The same can be asked to her she knows their number. Never do what someone did to you. The proper smart thing would hv been for her to say nothing she needs to stand down and let her father handle his business. Once you respond like that its like pouring gas on a fire. I know protecting her dad is normal and dont excuse it by using her age. If this doesn't mk it clear that he needs to get help with his addiction I think that is why she felt the need to respond she knows he is an addict so she felt she needed to help. And I do think T. I. was wrong because if thats your boy you talk to him man to man. Hell if thats your boy setup an intervention to get his ass into rehab. What T. I. did reeks of tap dancing for the man.. You throw dirt on him while talking to him as alter ego Mr. Black Dad Do Right wearing a sweater with elbow patches.

  • Classy Chick

Gotta love TI...." You have children( including mines prior to now) that have looked up to you." I couldn't agree more with TI the comments Wayne has stated was not thought out clearly and shows he is wired differently than other adults for such immature comment that lacked well thinking.

  • cottonscandyheary

He actually was 17, when he got a 14 year old Toya pregnant.

  • cottonscandyheary

He was born and raised in a city that have racist living right there. Fk lil wayne and that retarted looking ass daughter of his.

  • MScommunication

Lol the kids are off limits.

This is one of the reasons Tiny kicked her rat face ass out of th e omg girls.

  • cottonscandyheary

T.I. dont need points with the black community, he doing better fiancially than lil wayne dirty ass.

  • cottonscandyheary

you know damn well 17 year olds are always smart by the mouth. I dont care for lil wayne or his gremlin child, but you know damn well if social media existedi n 93 or 94 folks would have been doing the same shit as her.

  • TexasMocha

    Reginae daddy ain't s hit

What that got to do with that bs Wayne was talking about? To be truthful he been talking like a proud Willie Lynch schooled fool for years...js

  • S T

  • http://disqus.com/ yoliewinecorporation

Crazy ass dude Seriously offended. Big teeth syrup head graffiti tattooed face ignorant Fool. Reginae needs to stay in a childs place and stay out of grown folks business IMO. If this creature wasn't rich women wouldn't give him the time of day. Not a fan of that crappy ass rap music

  • Unhappy American

Why does his OPINION make him a coon....COON

  • Carmen

But her momma couldn't pick up the phone to call Tamar. She had to write about it in a book then go on The Breakfast Club to talk about her. Girl bye!!

  • Jones

I guess I was raised up as to where when TWO ADULTS are talking...(ESPECIALLY GROWN MEN)....it is no concern of a little girl who is barely 21 years of age. T.I. has PLENTY of publicity......already. Trust that....lol

  • Jones

So when she gets cursed out......I guess that will be on point as well.

  • Jones

You're right. Sometimes, I am confused as to if Toya is her mother...or her sister. She did have her at 12.

  • Jones

Exactly. Wayne has got to be the most ignorant ninja on our planet right now doing a interview like that. TI should have called him out. Since she doesnt stay in a child's place....I would have called her out too.

  • Jones

Right. She needs a damn whippin. That's one thing I cant stand is a grown ass child. She will be pregnant next.

  • Anji

The response was bigger than TI. It could have been any celebrity figure who could denigrate Lil Wayne's mistake. Elders like me fought too dam hard for him to deny racism and have it broadcasted to millions.
He'd have no career if we hadn't faced the dogs and hoses. He'd have no career if Black folk hadn't supported his beginnings. So something needed to be said and it didn't matter who did it. Dwayne needs to spanked in other ways and soon. Next Generations talk a good game...but it's mostly just that, talk.

  • IGuess

He does have the right to state his own opinion T.i u can't take away his freedom of speech leave him alone

  • Rain

I said that myself..."If you want something right you must do it yourself." I am going to try and help those I can as I've always done. I agree once again.

  • Rain

We cool Lol...I agree with that (last part) partially. I have learned a bit from people who have made mistakes and have shared their mistakes, even though they learned better and failed to do. I feel it gives a good example as to why a MIND is a terrible thing to waste. Some people honestsly cannot offer any knowledge or wisdom and those I do not and will not listen to, I just learn what not to do from them and or how to be. I totally get what you are saying tho...my Brother is like that, I try to offer him a nee perspective but; he believes that you should walk the walk if you are talking the talk...with little to no deviation. To me, that is too much to put on a person because, if people could not and will not honor God then...they are way less likely to be able to follow another man. People are more interested in the faults of others than people overcoming their faults, more times than not. Sorry Lol, my comment is all over Lol...a bit under the weather

  • Opinionated But Fair

Why is it a "mistake"? You ppl (anyone criticizing Lil Wayne)are such a trip! He's said terrible, misogynistic things that have set black ppl back(as has T.I.) in his music for YEARS!

But now he has the audacity to have a different POV and it's ohhhh so terrible!

I respect that he's not afraid to speak his mind about this. It's good that other races know we as black ppl aren't a homogeneous group of like-minded robots.

I STRONGLY disagree with soooooooo much that he's saying and has said, but I'm proud of him for being his own person!

  • Opinionated But Fair

He does...but side chicks, name changes , etc aren't the same as him supposedly being some civil rights leader /intellectual wannabe that he's perpetrating himself as now.

If this was genuinely convent about Wayne, we wouldn't have heard about it because he'd have said it to him.

  • Opinionated But Fair

That's ridiculous. What are you basing that on? Wayne has the hottest rapper in the game under him(Drake), he's still making $ off of Nicki and he's still making hits. When was his last #1?

And also, that's got nothing to do with the fact that he could've said all that without saying it publicly.

  • Jones

All of these celebrities talk through social media and post their comments on twitter. I don't see anything out of the norm here. I am glad T.I. said what he said. He doesn't have to be an black activist to speak some knowledge.
