Young Thug

Young Thug, 25, was arrested at Lenox Square Mall late Thursday. The rapper, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after Atlanta police spotted him while responding to a report of a stolen vehicle.

Williams, who is 6′ 3″, was an easy target for the officers who took him into custody without incident.

Williams had $2,500 cash on him at the time of his arrest. He told police a family member gave him the loot to go Christmas shopping.

Officers took pity on Williams and escorted him out of the mall via an employee stairwell to avoid embarrassing him.

Video taken by a bystander shows the officers escorting Williams with his hands cuffed behind him like a common criminal.

In another video filmed after he was released from jail, the rapper is seen dancing and saying he is “bigger than the law”.

Lenox Square Mall is just a few blocks away from the sprawling mansion Thugger rents in the prestigious Buckhead area of Atlanta.
