3 men are dead in a drug-related shootout outside Atlanta's Greenbriar mall on the blighted southwest side.
Police found 2 men dead at the scene outside a Checker's restaurant. A 3rd man was transported to a local hospital where he died.
A fourth man was possibly shot and drove himself to a hospital.
The dead men are identified as Ahmad Johnson, 27, of East Point, and 28-year-old Rickie Burke of Atlanta.
David Worrell, 22, was in critical condition after being shot and later died at Grady Memorial Hospital.
A witness told WSB-TV News he heard more than 30 shots fired outside the Checkers located in the northeast corner of Greenbriar mall's parking lot.
Police confirmed to Channel 2 News that the shooting took place at the Checkers restaurant at 2841 Greenbriar Parkway in Atlanta. Police recovered drugs at the crime scene.
Greenbriar mall is located in a predominately black, high crime area. The mall is the former location of Magic Johnson's now shuttered AMC Magic Johnson Theater.
