Donald Trump

President-elect Donald Trump and a feisty CNN reporter got into a shouting match during this morning’s press conference at Trump Tower in New York City.

Trump targeted CNN and Buzzfeed blog for publishing a fake news story about him that went viral on Tuesday.

Trump called Buzzfeed a “failing piece of garbage,” and he promised the blog would “suffer the consequences” for publishing the bogus news story.

The president-elect also referred to CNN as a “fake news” organization.

While taking questions from reporters, CNN’s Jim Acosta yelled out, “Since you are attacking us, can you give us a question?”

Trump ignored him, but Acosta continued interrupting and yelling, “Can you give us a question?”

“Not you,” Trump said, pointing at Acosta. “Your organization is terrible!”

But Acosta kept persisting and yelling, prompting Trump to tell him “don’t be rude!”

“I’m not going to give you a question,” Trump said. You are fake news!”

“Now, Mr. President-elect, that’s not appropriate!” Acosta responded.

As the tense exchange continued, Trump’s people onstage and a few reporters began to applaud.

After the news conference, CNN issued a press release complaining about being singled out by Trump.

CNN claimed its coverage of the dreadful “golden showers” fake story was “vastly different” from Buzzfeed’s decision to publish the dossier and the “Trump team knows this.”

Buzzfeed Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith then released a statement, saying that he wasn’t going to “divide media against each other.”

It should be noted that Buzzfeed is a lowly blog, and not a credible news organization.
