Hoda Kotb

TODAY show co-host Hoda Kotb has adopted a bouncing baby girl. The 52-year-old Egyptian news anchor posted an Instagram photo of her new baby girl on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

In the caption, she stated she adopted a daughter named Haley Joy, and that the infant was born on Valentine's Day.

"She's a Valentine's baby," gushed Hoda during a phone call to her breakfast show colleagues to announce her happy news. "She is the love of my life."

Hoda didn't mention the infant's race or nationality, but it appears from the picture that the newborn might be black or mixed race.

Hoda, who was previously married, lives in New York with her financier partner Joel Schiffman, whom she's dated since 2013.

Haley is her only child.

Since ancient times the "Elites" kept black children as pets

  • CrunchyBlack1

glad she didnt try to be hip and adopt a white baby

  • Carolina Blue

    Omg look at lil mama??????

  • iWasteTime

Good for her and that baby!

  • Buttercup

    Congrats to her!

  • Sucker Free

    Always wondered about her ethnicity

    Congrats!!

Here come the "she's too old" naysayers in 5..4..3

  • YES I SAID IT…

I really don't care all I know is I hope and pray that they love and care for this baby as if the baby was their own.

  • klwbaby

    Congratulations Hoda ??

  • iWasteTime

Please some one leak those CB texts!
Man he had to be going pure off for her to get a OOP off text!

  • KeyaPrettyNPetty

Hoda didn’t mention the infant’s race or nationality, but it appears from the picture that the newborn might be black or mixed race.
    -------
Why should she have mentioned it? That's her daughter. Period. Congrats to her. Next?

  • doubledee

I always like Hoda. Anyone know what ethnicity Hoda is? Clearly, she's not white herself.

  • iWasteTime

    The write up says Egyptian

  • http://www.findyournichewithme.com Low E. TUH!

SHE LOOKS OVERJOYED WITH LITTLE BABY!

NOTICE EGYPTIAN AND BLACK ARE NOT USED INTERCHANGEABLY...

  • A-way29

Yes, Egyptian's and blacks/negroes are two separate groups of people.

    Good catch.

  • Owww76

    She's Egyptian

  • Blaque Mahogany

Oh my gosh...that pic makes me want a baby so bad.

  • http://www.findyournichewithme.com Low E. TUH!

I'll send you a link to some good moreh's. Cool and in depth lessons.

  • Blaque Mahogany

Since I'm always late, y'all probably have already talked about Karreuche filing a restraining order against Christ Brown (allegedly)...for threatening her.

  • SummerBaby

Me too! ? maybe not one I have to support..someone else's that I can visit & go back home.

  • SunRiseBlossom

I am sorry, but aah... 52 years old + Newborn = Negative

  • iWasteTime

    we've a little.
The OoP covers her, her momma and her brother.

  • SummerBaby

    I believe her!

  • SunRiseBlossom

    RIGHT! Lol

  • iWasteTime

    Me too
That IG video he did a few weeks ago is the reason why

  • Blaque Mahogany

I do too. He needs to get his life together.

  • iWasteTime

He needs to let her go.
File it as a lesson learned and do better with the next woman

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

I was inclined to believe her until this:
In her court filing, Tran also alleged Brown “punched me in my stomach twice” and “pushed me down the stairs” during their tumultuous relationship, violating his probation in the Rihanna assault case.

But you stayed and the only reason you left, per your own words, was because of the baby!! So a baby was more important than your life? And now you want to tell about this?

Chris needs to go chill, because he puts himself in this mess!!

  • SummerBaby

I'm just a little disappointed that she's just now revealing the physical abuse.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

But still accepting houses and cars from him. Nope, you can have that shyt back!!

  • ReadingIsFundamental4Real

Congrats to Hoda and to the baby for getting a loving home

  • SummerBaby

My cousin was in a very physically abusive relationship. She tolerated getting her azz beat, but cheating was a deal breaker. ??

  • Renee26

Well if the baby is black it's a perfect fit considering she is Egyptian. Should she had gotten a yt baby to keep up with the trend??

  • Blaque Mahogany

So a neighbor is claiming that she heard Chris Brown beating K. Which is interesting because I thought she claimed he never hit her.

  • SummerBaby

    Exactly!!

  • http://www.findyournichewithme.com Low E. TUH!

    GOT IT

  • SummerBaby

I believe she at one time did say he never hit her.

  • Carolina Blue

Well if her name is on the title then hey..but if not, let that shit go.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

I get that and have seen it. I'm just not fully buying Karreuche story and I usually side with the woman. Just something is off with both of them.....him more than her...but both of them.

  • SummerBaby

    I agree!

  • Carolina Blue

All.the damn time! This fool stay shooting himself in the foot.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

EXACTLY!! If it is mine......legally that is one thing. But if not and it is a "reason" you can talk shyt and act stupid.....Here!! Take it!!

  • iWasteTime

    ohhh
    that I didn't know.

  • SummerBaby

That's me all the way. Material items are not worth my peace of mind.

  • KDub

I said when all of that posted up in his house mess happened with police etc he would be back in some mess. Yes he was found not guilty on that. But this is NOT "growing pains" of he just young and dumb etc. Chris a whole entire 28 year old grown MAN. He stays doing questionable stuff is my point

  • Carolina Blue

I think she may be dealing with him off and on behind the scenes. Sending him mixed messages, not trying to justify his behavior.

  • Carolina Blue

    Damn right!

  • KDub

I sided with a nigga just this morning on the #strandedbae Twitter saga.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

Which is the reason for the last line: he puts himself in this mess. Yeah, folks may profit off of it and whatnot, but NOPE, Chris YOU can control the mess that comes.

  • hi-liter

52 + Newborn (she didn't birth, will just raise) = Positive.

  • KDub

Yep. I was agreeing and still do.

  • Lenina Just Lenina

And he needs his azz beat. Karreuche was wrong af for staying w him for fame.

  • Renee26

She's still youthful...seems to live a healthy lifestyle. She's just now beginning her family so I think it will work out fine. She'll still be able to enjoy motherhood without all of the issues that unhealthy older people have.

  • KDub

Why post a vieo saying you a stalker KNOWING your past? Why do that?

"Ladies, y'all be complaining about n---as being like stalkers and in love with y'all, kinda crazy and shit, and you get tired of 'em," he said in the clip. "Well guess what? I'm one of 'em n----s! If I love you, b-tch, ain't nobody gon' have you. I'm gon' make you miserable. I'm going to chase that n---a out, and I'm gonna chase you around, and it's done."

  • Carolina Blue

    This!

  • KDub

She is NO angel by ANY means. She irks my damn soul too

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

I was even pissed when she commented on him and Soulja mess. Like, yeah they mentioning you, but yo!! Stay out of it!! Don't say not one word! Especially if you saying this nignog prone to going off!!

How you popping fly a few months ago and now need a restraining order!! You scared or you not! You lived with him for years and know him inside and out and all his triggers------STAWP IT!!

  • Carolina Blue

I believe thats his "normal". Love doesnt have shit to do with this nutty shit right here.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

And he said what she already knew, so with that.......I am cool on anything you want to buy me. Can we end this house arrangement? Nope, I need to move and get away from all your mess. Sir.

  • 2brefrank

Now that's good news! Thanks Sandy i needed some goodness today.

  • Renee26

She knew he was abusive before she met him... I think she loved his dirty draws to no end. The baby was probably only a deal breaker because SHE didn't have a baby by him herself. She put up with the cheating, invited other women to their bed, abuse. Young and dumb for real.

  • Carolina Blue

Yes, she doesnt look very credible at this point.

  • KDub

See? Its BOTH of em. BOTH. Someone coming in here in one second tho defending him and chalking it up to he still a kid and he does silly things and he still has room to grow. When? WHEN is he gonna start? I blame him more than her really truth be told. HE a parent. Bc he ALSO knows ANY little infraction his baby mama gonna use it against him for his daughter. Keep your nose clean and have a SEAT young man.

  • hi-liter

Somebody said she still living in a home CB bought for her and she still driving a car he purchased........she messing up right there, got to give back ERTHANG when it's over.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

Especially when he crazy and possessive!!

  • hi-liter

WORD! She just like him trying to have her cake and eat it too.

  • KDub

Some one else said not for over a year now. He came there and broke a window and she moved. Changed cars too. I dont know which is true.

  • Renee26

Yeah...a long break up. When you don't want to have sex with anybody new so you go ahead and let the ex creep in every now and then.

  • Sucker Free

We each have our own journey...there is nothing negative in her path

  • hi-liter

I'm inclined to believe this. CB seems like to type to take all his chit back when he breaks up.

  • Renee26

Just listen to his lyrics...he tells us about his crazy ways all the time

  • Carolina Blue

Right! Boy you have a daughter!!! If someone did this to royalty, its fuckkin ww3!

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

Naw, I don't see this with her. He wanted her back, so he wouldn't do too much to make her not need him.

  • Renee26

    Yes!

  • Nancy Drew is All The Way Up!

    LOL!

  • Renee26

I believe he did all of that LMAO

  • KDub

He is my fellow Taurus so he is PETT-TEE

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

Exactly.....Both of them BUT him more than her!!

  • ?Queen_ CleoJones ?

Uh she's black too. So this shouldn't be news! But Congrats on the adoption.

  • hi-liter

That's the point, take the chit back and she may come back in his mind.

  • Carolina Blue

Super petty but at the same time wants to let you keep it so he can have an exscuse to communicate with you.

  • Renee26

    This too....control factor

  • Carolina Blue

    Riiiiiight!

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

No, he likes having that "You wouldn't be living there, driving that if it were not for me" mentality. He will let her keep it, just to have bragging rights and to make her feel special.

I am truly blaming the both of them for this mess.

  • Renee26

Yes...she wanted to become somebody famous. This is her struggle/come-up story

  • missmiami305

If she were an average 52 yr old I would agree. However, she has the resources to give this child a wonderful life. She's still very youthful, has a lot of love to give and well she's rich. LOL!

  • http://batman-news.com Roderick2011

    Egyptian?

I thought her mom was Japanese and her father was black (serviceman).

  • Renee26

She didn't want him to go to jail for violating his parole

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

    THE WHOLE LAST PART.

Ex was a Taurus....was HEATED when I returned EVERYTHING!! Like- Here is the last of anything we had connected.
Fuming mad that I rebuked that Bday text....cause all his exes are still friends with him and communicate with him. NOT I!

  • iWasteTime

I think if he would leave her ass alone it wouldn't be any of this. take the hint. Do better with the next woman but he sent texts threatening her

  • missmiami305

It just seems random. Something else must have transpired outside of the random video. Like, did he show up at her house or something? Idk just odd because he even has a new chick he is dating. Idk! Hope it works out for the both of them.

  • iWasteTime

exactly and allegedly text her the threats

  • KDub

What I was gonna say. I think she has proof. That she is being harrassed

  • missmiami305

Whet!!!!!! Really cheating was the deal breaker.

  • iWasteTime

And we saw a video of him DEEBO in a UBER a UBER just to talk to her

  • Genia

Hoda decided to cut out the middle people and have her own grandchild.. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ebe905bb28a0d0e8fc2dee9588e90fbc49dcfcd07bce78cfd023ce36adf685fe.jpg

  • missmiami305

Yes she has to have some proof. They said she submitted a sworn statement but I'm like she must have something else. Unless, they are going based off of his past with Rihanna.

  • hi-liter

Karuchee felt if Rhianna was good enough to get her arse beat down, so is she.

  • missmiami305

    Mixed signals. I said that.

  • missmiami305

He's almost 30 and has a kid. Chile he a grown man.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

That's a nignog that was still getting the puss and got cut off actions.

  • iWasteTime

threatening text messages and harassing her friends .. allegedly

  • missmiami305

Yeah, that's leading him on. If you are done, be done. Give him his ish back and go about your business. You cannot do both.

  • Renee26

When he jumped in the SUV and told her friend to beat it?? Yes, I member that...

  • SummerBaby

He never cheated, but she always said that was the deal breaker. He's currently incarcerated (not for domestic violence) for a long time & that was the only way she got free.

  • hi-liter

No, both of her parents are Egyptian I believe.

  • http://browngirltightcurl.blogspot.com nellboogie

The baby is clearly blessed with melanin. I am confused why this is an issue considering both of Hoda's parents are Egyptian. Many East Africans are of mixed ancestry due to the Arab influx...

  • LibraGirlonly

She does look so called Egyptian.

  • iWasteTime

    New posts!
    I'm in the blind item

  • missmiami305

    Smh!!!!

  • Renee26

    Stepped right into those shoes

  • missmiami305

I'm nosey. I want to see the messages lol. The friends I can believe because well we saw that incident when they first broke up and he forced his way inside the UBER or whatever.

  • KDub

All of this hits home for me. My nephew? Just turned 30 earlier this month. My nephew IS Chris Brown. I do mean down to the T. Its something about that age group (25-32) of men that feel entitled to women. ESP if you are handsome and got money to blow. And my sister STAY on the shyts with that boy when HE IS GROWN. Stop defending BOOLSHYT.

  • Ajavee

    Congrats Hoda!

  • SummerBaby

As my mama says any story is better than none. ? I'm a survivor of a very violent domestic abuse attack...so you out your hands on me you need to go to jail.

  • Blaque Mahogany

Wait. She is still accepting gifts?

  • Renee26

Right...you know better. So many women don't and sacrifice their own sanity just to be in love with a man that doesn't even respect them.

  • Ajavee

    I agree.

  • stav

I love when asked her race she stated Egyptian, which is not a race , but a nationality. When I look at her all I see is a black woman.

    LOLLOLLOL!!!

  • Quitedeliteful

Maybe if she were 52 in the 18th or 19th century this would be a problem because lots of folks didn't live a long life or maybe if she were old, cripple and crazy then maybe it would be a negative but 52 is not like it used to be and Hoda has plenty of money and love to give. This kid will have a beautiful and privileged life.

  • SunRiseBlossom

    You got a point there!!!

  • SunRiseBlossom

I have to agree with you on that!

  • SunRiseBlossom

    That's a valid point! I agree.

Aint no way! My damn teens run me ragged and she a bit older than me, hell nawl!

  • Tammie Reed

I'm happy for her, if she is happy but ain't no damn way in hell I would be chasing around a toddler or taking care of a newborn at 52! This is when you supposed to be kicking it with your girlfriends and traveling!

Hell, I'm almost her age and my teens get on my damn nerves, I cant wait for them to get the hell outta dodge so me and hubby can travel and be gone! I know she will probably have a lot of help but that is going to get old real fast! Wait till reality sets in...Smh!

  • Tlowe89

Awwww she looks so happy. CONGRATS

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

That is adorable..... I hope Hoda lives a long healthy life to give her child a great start in life. I have mixed feelings about adopting or having children after 45. I say 45 because I know people who have had menopause babies! I thought if God wanted you to conceive than who am I to interfere or judge. Hoda certainly would have been through many of the trials and tribulations that youth and inexperience offer. I wish her happiness and blessings.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

    She needs one!

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Let's see where Egypt is on the map exactly ? But anyway I love all the shades of melanin in our skin !!! Glad she didn't shy away from it! Now her and Kathy Lee may have to hold off on those morning drinks though!!! Koda isn't ashamed of her roots or heritage!!!!

  • dontgetblocked

    Congratulations! I know she's delighted.

  • dontgetblocked

A lot of older grandparents raise their grandchildren. Age doesn't matter as long as the child is in a happy, safe, and stable environment. Younger parents who struggle with money seem to have more issues than older parents.

  • dontgetblocked

You did your lives in reverse. She worked hard for a successful and lucrative career. Now she has the time and resources to raise her child in a mature and caring way. She can enjoy it instead of struggling. I wish her the best.

  • dontgetblocked

She is successful and didn't spit kids out as a teenager or young adult. She has plenty of money and motherhood will be a joy for her. She's on another level. She chose motherhood and didn't just get knocked up by JJ down the street.

  • Michelle

She's too damn old. If she knew she wanted a baby she should have adopted one 20 years ago. She'll be dead before the child even gets married. Very, very selfish.....

  • Taylordanes

Really she is selfish for adopting???? I know plenty of healthy people in their 60's and 70's and unhealty ones in their 30s and 40s...she gave this child a chance...

  • Taylordanes

    THIS!!!!!!

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

True and I mentioned in the latter part of my comment the pros of being a mature parent. I know a lot of grandparents who were not prepared fully for that responsibility of raising their grandchildren long term. Now that this become more and more common across the board, that same model can be used with parents that choose to wait to have kids until their older. We are living longer and some healthier so it's possible to be around for our kids longer. It's also good to have someone in place to take care of child if you can't . If most of your friends are your age then they may go when you do.....

  • SumthinSweeter

    Amen!!!

  • Tammie Reed

I understand but how do you know I didnt do the same? I worked hard ALL my life too. Now I want to enjoy life instead of getting up late at night with a newborn at 50....no thanks! Kudos to her though lol.

  • Dr.Rue

That baby looks beautiful! omg her skin! sooo cute!

  • AJ

I was thinking the same thing. Title makes it sound like Auntie doesn't think Hoda is black. Egypt is on what continent?

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

I wasn't sure on this one.... I didn't it was odd that an Egyptian woman would adopt a baby of African heritage . Not a stretch to me.....

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

I'm happy for her ! A lot of people that are not wealthy or influential can't adopt young babies at her age though. It's just the facts , it's difficult at that age to adopt young children in the United States even though there are plenty that need good homes. I think it's ridiculous . These women like Hoda can provide excellent homes, knowledge and wisdom . They see all the grandparents that raised their babies . Sometimes it was because of poverty, drugs, divorce, or military orders. Whatever the case these kids could be in great homes instead of growing up in and aging out of foster care.

  • Enoughsaid2020

Beautiful! Congratulations to Hoda, and her husband!

  • kekeb

Isn't Hoda Egyptian? Soooo, why is this a big deal that the infant is black?!

  • kekeb

Well that's not fair or wiss to say she'll be dead. What u got, a crystal ball?!

  • Bonny

Babies are such a blessing. And they smell so good.

  • Allihave2say

Strangely enough Egyptians don't believe they are black.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Didn't read yours before I commented but this was my sentiments exactly. My friends husband is from Egypt and she is black but honestly they never considered themselves in an interracial relatinship. He is Muslim however and she never converted and it worked for them for twenty plus years. They have grown children and some on their way to college . They all just consider themselves black I guess . Never thought about it.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Moses said let MY people go....

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

You can tell she waited all her for this moment!!

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Wow..... some days are rough but wow...... ?????

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Old ?, cripple, ?, crazy, ? I love the Rose Garden!!! But Times have changed . She is 52 ! Thirty years from now that baby will be an adult thanking her for a beautiful life!!! I'm sure her sister will help her too!!!

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

JJ from down the street! Not Hoda!!! She is going to get plenty of love from the Today staff too!

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

People that age have more patience than we do. They already have money in the bank and Hoda could stop working if she wanted too. She can afford a housekeeper, nanny and chef. She can even afford a personal assistant . She doesn't have to all the things many have to do. She can enjoy the baby, toddler and the teenager . My kids don't run me ragged , but I guess it's in how you look at it. I have help too , my husband and family.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

I agree with you!!!!I think they have been in constant communication . She may just want to end things for good and this restraining order is more about her ending it . She needs the strength to put an end to the foolishness . She knew his track record but she stayed , I would have left. Going back to RiRi was raunchy .... but if someone threw me down steps I would have filed then !

  • A D N

We Americans really need to educate ourselves on so many things. This post highlights our ignorance on so many levels. Understanding the difference between Egyptians versus "black"...parenting at any age....is a great start.

  • Gwen Grayson

    Congratulations Hoda.

  • DHM

I believe Egypt is in Northern Africa and part of the African Continent. So I guess technically Egyptians are Africans even if they don't want to claim it or decide to call themselves Middle Eastern.
Sarah (in the Old Testament) was at least 90yrs old when she had baby Isaac. Hoda's only 52 yrs old. Her baby will be loved and wanted.

  • Ro

    beautiful! congrats to her!

  • A-way29

Yes, he did say that. He was telling the Egyptians to let his people go. His people are the Hebrew Israelites. He was a Hebrew from the tribe of Levi who passed for an Egyptian. Moses was taken for an Egyptian, the Apostle Sha'ul (Paul) was also mistaken for an Egyptian. The parents of the Messiah were instructed to head south into Egypt to hide themselves from Herod. These instances tells us that they are black people.

    Here are the verses.

    Moses

    Exodus 2:1-10
"AND there went a man of the house of LEVIY, and took ?? eth-to be his woman a daughter of LEVIY."

    Jumping to verse 10

"And the child grew, and she brought him unto Phar'oh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name MOSHEH: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water".

    Shaul Acts 21:36-37

"And as SHA'UL was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto you? Who said, Can you speak YAVANIY (Greek)?

Are not you that MITSRIY (Egyptian), which before these days made an uproar...."

    Messiah in Mitsrayim (Egypt)

    MattithYahu (Matthew) 2:13 - 14

"And when they were departed, behold, the angel of YAHUAH appeared to YOCEPH in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into MITSRAYIM (Egypt), and be there until I bring you word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.

When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into MITSRAYIM (Egypt):"

  • Tammie Reed

I don't know anyone my age that has patience for newborns like that, I beg to differ but anyway yep, she has the help and means to do it. I know from experience and being around my girlfriends (with similar ages) they cant wait to give the grandkids back after a few hours of watching them because its a bit overwhelming lol. My mom couldn't do it and neither could my husband's parents, its not as easy as it looks. Good luck to her though!

Me too!! To me it smells better and is thicker than that watery ass Johnson & Johnson baby lotion. My kids had the Baby Magic Body/Hair wash AND the lotion. When I tell you, I used to just sniff them after their baths. All kinds of lovable baby fresh and cuddliness!!

EVERYTHING in the WORLD, Craig!!! Love, Love, Love!!

  • ?Patty Kakes?

    I've always liked Hoda

  • MADNEWYORKER914

    thought Hoda was Puerto Rican!!!

  • MADNEWYORKER914

Well if you knew how those modern day Egyptians felt about black people then you would know that it is odd that she adopted a black child. Those Arab looking Egyptians do not like black people, and have been trying to erase the true history of black Egypt for a long time!!! But Hoda seems like she is Americanized, and you can tell she really loves that baby. but I am curious about the baby's race??? I always thought Hoda was Puerto Rican.

He married a black lady though.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

He didn't want to pass though...

My mom and Grandmom love their grand kids and great grand kids . They are not angels either ... talking about my kids. However with experience , wisdom, and less on their schedules they love to keep them on the weekends for us. It's what help keeps my marriage strong to be honest. I have a great support system . We are not the Brady Bunch but we make it work . My kids even go on vacations with the grandparents. So Hoda can do it....

What you mean? He didn't want to what?

  • A-way29

Correct. He married Zipporah - Hebrew. And, an Ethiopian woman.

  • Tammie Reed

Thats really nice that your parents help out, We didnt have that.

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

It was a blessing.... they had their parents so I guess they remember how much it helps.

Moses could have just lived a quiet rich life. But he had a higher calling. He didn't turn his back on his people , his race, ethnicity . He embraced it just like Esther to make sure their people survived and received their blessing.

True saying. I sometimes wish I was born back in those days to experience what they experienced. This walk is truly based on faith and walking out the commandments.

How long have you been in the word?

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

Just read it through last year , now I am studying it. Line by line precept by precept and applying it to my life. I'm not just findinding myself in the word , I want the word in me. ?

  • A-way29

That's been a goal of mine to read it through. That my mission. Line by line, precept by precept. I'm cutting off all distractions.

    Do you use a KJV?

Also, shoot me a note at sojourn.erets@gmail.com, please.

I'll like to forward you a message or two. They're great lessons pertaining to our walk.

No... I downloaded a bible application and read through a few different versions not the whole thing just chapters. Then I picked a Women's Study Bible ( not KJV ) and my friend gave me a Hebriac Roots Bible, and I have a another version. I have a KJV but I don't read it. It just wasn't coming through for me.

For some, remember many were disobedient that's why they were in the wilderness 40 years .

  • A-way29

That's cool. I'm not too fond of the KJV as well. Too many areas where they omit, verses, chapters and entire books. There are about 10-12 books that are referenced and no where to be found. I use the Cepher (cepher.net). I'm reading Yashar. I've been up since 5 this morning reading. It was as if my spirit was troubled. I feel at ease now. Still reading as we speak.

I hope you had a restful night, sis

They were a stiffneck people then and it has continued down to our days. Our people are still not obeying The Most High. We have to turn back to the Covenant. I'm assuming you're aware of your identity?

  • VanillaCaramel2shotsExpresso

I'm aware of who I am and whose I am.

  • Tori

Sarah's story is a special story. God made a promise to Abraham, that he would have a son. And God kept that promise! So you can't compare Hoda's story with Abraham and Sarah's story.

I do agree that Hoda's baby will be (well) loved, and it's obvious that her baby is very much wanted. At any rate, women cannot have children in their 90's. The Bible even says that Sarah was well past the age for bearing children. Had God not specially intervened, Sarah would not have bore a child. On the other hand, there are stories of women in their 50s bearing children. This was not one of those stories.
