Wiz Khalifa Dorien Thomaz

Dorien “LaLa” Thomaz, the older brother of rap artist Wiz Khalifa, died at age 32 on Feb. 20. Thomaz’s obituary states he passed away peacefully with his mother, Peachie Thomaz, by his side.

His obituary doesn’t include a cause of death, but the blogs report Thomaz was diagnosed with an incurable sexually transmitted disease.

Thomaz identified as a male-to-transgender who preferred to wear stereotypically feminine clothing.

He is survived by his brother, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, 29; his parents Peachie and Laurence, and half sister Lauren Thomaz. He is also survived by grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

So young…condolences to the family….our black men are being killed and having more and more mental issues….sad

  • Strong White Woman

Prayers to the family. Especially his Mother whom I’ve met before, Whiz and the rest of the family on the loss of their DAUGHTER/SISTER? I tried reaching out via social media when this story broke a few days ago. I’m sure she’s been bombarded with messages and is busy mourning?

  • hi-liter

“diagnosed with an incurable sexually transmitted disease”……That’s mighty respectable of you Auntie.

  • Concerned

Male-to-transgender??? Auntie aint here for the fuckery

  • KcoolMuziq

Wiz Khalifa seems like a really cool person. My prayers are with his family during their time of bereavement . The unnecessary speculation on the cause of death is not important. Smh

Extreme Black Liberalism teaches sexually confused young black boys that homosexuality is SAFE and normal even though 1/4 of black boys are infected with HIV by 25 and the, MAJORITY, 60% are HIV positive by 40. Thats a higher infection rate than lung cancer in male smokers which everyone acknowledges in unsafe and extremely dangerous. Yet, liberals say smoking is harmful and black homosexuality is safe and normal?!! The HIV epidemic in the black community is not complicated. Black gay men are the source of 90% of all new HIV infections. It’s black gay men infecting other (mostly young black gay men) and black women. Young black gay boys/men infecting black girls.

The liberal media is lying on black women and 100% straight heterosexual non IV drug using black men to PROTECT black gay men. The HIV epidemic has been going on for 20 years and I have yet to see one black man who can identify the black woman who INFECTED him with HIV. It’s always well I was sleeping around. Tell the truth. You got HIV from sleeping with a man or using IV drugs. It’s possible but extremely rare for a man to get HIV from heterosexual v@ginal s3x. It’s, however, VERY EASY to get other sexually transmitted diseases. Be safe at all times. There was a study done of HIV positive women and their non positive husbands. After 5 years of unprotected s3x, only 20% of the men were HIV positive.

The HIV rate for straight non IV drug using black men is the same as it is for straight non IV drug using white and hispanic men. It’s so low is barely measurable. White heterosexuals figured out their HIV risk was extremely low 10 years ago. Which is why there is low opposition in the white community to gay marriage. They didn’t become enlightened as gays would like for you to believe. Check the stats and use your brains people. The media is protecting black Gays!

“His obituary doesn’t include a cause of death, but the blogs report Thomaz was diagnosed with an incurable sexually transmitted disease.”

So LaLa’s family didn’t care to discuss the reason LaLa died….but the “blogs” just could not help themselves. Um, okay?

LaLa died, a family lost a love one, don’t matter if they were male, female, both, transgender- transitioning or just plumb confused…they are dead.

    THE END https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/2eb68216435f5bd0f3529753327bab17bf5b54d74bf2cc7daa85463b8985bc27.gif

  • KDub

You were that person first sir. “but if you gone live that life why not get regularly tested and practice safe sex”. Ignorance. Because it is 2017. Everyone needs to educate themselves on safe sex and get tested. Not just folks living that life as you said. Then “imma beat you and/or kill you on sight if its a virus.” Which lends into the educational part. Not all STI’s are viral. Just…shhh.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

Absolutely. My uncle waited for my grandmother to get home before he passed. They had a horrible relationship all his life, and right before his death, she was all he had to care for him. My family who was there said he fought like hell to stay until she got there and then after she came in the room and he saw her and said thank you, he passed away.

Look at GOD!! HE let him do that.

  • AllAroundTheWorldSameSong

Some are in full denial, as they feel it is a death sentence, due to not knowing.

They look better than most women out there so stop hating! They can’t help it if they still look masculine. Look at the WNBA, 99% of those women could pass as men if they wore a sweatshirt and baggy jeans, but nobody would care because women can do anything and wear anything they want. It’s applauded when women do anything a man can do but men aren’t allowed to do anything women do! We can’t wear any type of makeup or we’re automatically considered gay. We can’t be into fashion or wear tight clothes, only women can wear tight clothes that show off their body. But men aren’t allowed because of perception, not because it’s right or wrong. Everybody’s “perception” of a man makes us have to fit into this specific idea of what a “man” is. We can’t wear skirts or thongs, even though warriors who battled to the death would wear skirts and thongs for comfort, and there’s not any more of a “man” than the person who’s battling to the death with swords.
We can’t go to a spa or get a mani/pedi or wear girls clothes or even anything purple/pink.
A girl can wear men’s clothes and do everything a man does, it’s even encouraged. But the second a man tries to do something that doesnt fit the “role of a man” he is called out and made fun of. Women can have sex with a man or woman and it’s encouraged. But if a man has any interest in having sex with another man he’s automatically labeled “gay” which somehow makes him “less of a man”.
Half of the women out there are already “too butch and tuff in the face to be looking like women” so trans people are merely fitting in with them, even if you can still point them out it shouldn’t make a difference or make it wrong…
Alot of men look feminine and alot of women look masculine. Everybody has a certain amount of masculinity and femininity, hence why both women and men produce testosterone and estrogen!
Gender is not black and white, man or female and that’s it. If men produced only testosterone and women produced only estrogen, then yes it would be very clear – man or woman. But everybody has their own balance of hormones and some people even have both sets of genitalia! So please, let people live their lives the way they want to – without your “advice” about who can dress up and who can’t because of how “butch” they may or may not look. Alot of women look “butch”, but I don’t hear you telling them to stop trying to look feminine. And you shouldn’t.

  • SuperScooper1

Can you decipher that? I don’t understand what’s being communicated in that “James Baldwin” post.

Hmmm…Interesting point. She may have been infected in her early teens and not through consensual intercourse. People forget there are whole swaths of kids that get STD/STIs through rape and molestation. Anne Hache’s father gave her Herpes at 12 years old.

  • SuperScooper1

This why the rates keep climbing…Denial and misinformation out here.

  • Corey W

Mentally ill? It’s sad you are so closed-minded.
So please, let people live their lives the way they want to – without your judgement. The world will be a happier place.

It’s always weird when I see people dying young from AIDS with all the medications they have out now.. They claim people are living still they 70 years old now. I wonder why their cases are so different from others. I guess the meds don’t work on everybody.

  • stanley

AIDS causes many types of cancers once their immune system is weakened. You don’t die from AIDS, you die from the many different types of conditions your body develop after your immune system is destroyed. Some people die from cancer, some people die from Pneumonia and others may develop heart or liver disease.

  • https://twitter.com/Chicagowise Chicagowise

I had a front row seat to the AIDS epidemic. I know how it works. My point is, they will cover up the fact that his death is AIDS-related. These reckless queens need to realize people are still dying from that sh/t. Don’t you think it’s odd that the media has gone radio-silent on AIDS-related deaths?

theres a different between HIV and aids, if hiv doesnt transform into aids, you might have chance to live, but aids your immune system collapses and your done

I’m not going call a man a woman, no matter hard he tries to imitate one. As a homosexual, I know firsthand how demented some so-called transgendered people really are.

  • https://twitter.com/Chicagowise Chicagowise

Black GAY men aren’t infecting women, not directly. Gay men don’t sleep with women. Black women are being infected by bisexuals who are usually bottoms. ?

  • Corey W

I know some gay people that are “demented” but that doesn’t mean every one is. I’m not going to go around saying gay people are “mentally ill” and “demented” just because I know some who are.
That’s how racism still exists, because people like you know a small group to be one way, so you assume all of them must be the same way as well. But you’re completely wrong, sorry.

  • stanley

You had front row seats, so why u still breathing?

  • https://twitter.com/Chicagowise Chicagowise

Because I’m not promiscuous and I always practice safe sex. At one point, I was attending two or three funerals a month.

  • stanley

So you have to be a hoe in order to get HIV ? lol…

  • dluv212

You are such a “human being.”

  • https://twitter.com/Chicagowise Chicagowise

No, but it definitely increases the odds of being infected.

  • stanley

biggest lie… That’s dangerous. People also get HIV for trusting people within relationships too, let down your guard and stop using protection.

The only difference between Hiv negative and positive people is that one didn’t wear a condom. You got people that only had 1 or 2 boyfriends in their lifetime that contracted it. But those stories aren’t told.

  • https://twitter.com/Chicagowise Chicagowise

Did you miss the part where I said, “I always practice safe sex?”

  • Corey W

Rates are climbing because people don’t use their brains and protect themselves.
Denial and misinformation definitely have some effect on this, I agree. But it’s ultimately up to people to protect themselves if they want to live a long, healthy life. Can’t blame other people for “misinformation”, it’s ultimately up to you if you want to risk getting HIV or not.
Some people think it’s completely fine to use no condoms if somebody says they’re clean. But even if somebody “says they’re clean” and you trust them, it doesn’t mean anything because alot of people are infected and have absolutely no idea!! Then who’s fault is it? Anybody who agreed to do it without a condom! It’s not the media’s fault or people who gave misinformation, it’s always your fault, unless you were raped but that’s a whole different story. If you have a choice to protect yourself, and you don’t, shame on you for risking getting infected and possibly other people you will have sex with down the road.
So don’t trust anybody but yourself and use ALWAYS protection. Or you can “have more fun” without a condom and just be another statistic. Totally your choice, not the media’s or other peoples choice; it’s yours, so own it.

  • Corey W

Are you serious?!?! Because there are a whole lot of people out there who are infected but just don’t know it!!! You are the exact type of person that will get HIV and not even know it! And then you’ll give it to other people down the road and it “won’t be your fault”.
Ignorant and naive. Thats what you are. Very ignorant and naive.
People like you are what make people like me so cautious. Like really? Because somebody “swears they are clean” you’re going to risk getting HIV? Why???? Just use protection!
There’s no scratch and sniff for if you have HIV or not! Alot of people either don’t like going to the doctors or are scared to find out if they are infected with anything. So even if somebody “swears they are clean” please don’t be stupid and risk getting infected. One night of fun for a lifetime of hell? No thanks…

  • Corey W

It’s really sad you are so closed-minded. This is what’s wrong with society today, people like you.

  • Corey W

So should women push to look like a sexy feminine woman if they are too masculine? Or only extremely feminine women can?
Don’t be closed-minded, I know alot of women who are more masculine that alot of men I know, but I don’t discriminate based on MY THOUGHTS of how masculine or feminine I think they look. If they think they look good, that’s all that should matter!!! And you should accept that and support those people. The world would be such a better place.
We’re going back to pre-school with this – don’t judge people and let them be who they want to. That’s why our society sucks because of non-supportive, ignorant, judgemental people like you thinking that people shouldn’t look a certain way because of how YOU THINK they look. Sad.

  • Corey W

    I’m not 6’5″ lol

  • Corey W

I totally agree with you. @itzgoingdown dropped some “facts” (who creates these “facts”?? Just reiterating from some “study”?) but he is suggesting that only black gay men carry and spread HIV, totally false. Everybody is at risk to catch HIV, it’s whether or not you protect yourself, it’s not about whether your a black gay man or not.. And he also mentions the media, as if they are responsible for all HIV positive people choosing to not use protection. Talk about misleading information…
PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOULL HAVE NOBODY TO BLAME (not the media or the black gay man.. Smh)

It’s not a huge conspiracy theory, it’s called protection.
People who don’t have HIV use protection (smart people).
People who have HIV didn’t use protection (dumb people).
    It’s not a race thing, it’s a protection thing.
If you have HIV, you are stupid and didn’t use protection, you didn’t get “fooled by the man” lol you can protect yourself if you have any brains nobody is stopping you.
And if you don’t have HIV, you are smart and used protection.
Nobody forces people to have sex without condoms or use dirty needles, it’s their choice. You can either be smart or stupid, period.

  • nucynu25

Maybe you should’ve responded to him & not me .

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

Actually he said gay males, not black gay men. According to the CDC, men who have sex with men are at the highest risk to contract HIV. Gay males are number 1 in new HIV infections. The statistics have not changed since the 1980s.

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

Because men who have sex with men are #1 in new HIV cases. Black women are #2 in new HIV cases because they are unwittingly sleeping with men who have sex with men.

  • http://sandrarose.com SandraRose

Unlike other STDs, gay males remain #1 in new cases of HIV. That statistic has not changed in over 35 years. Thanks to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), some gay males have unprotected sex with 1,000 or more partners in one year.

  • Corey W

Wait, can you read?? Yes he did say black gay men, see quote below. And please learn how to read before you disagree.
“Black gay men are the source of 90% of all new HIV infections.” -@itzgoingdown
And MAYBE the CDC has their numbers and statistics right (if there’s a lot of people who are infected but don’t even know, how do those numbers equate to real life? It doesn’t account for the people who don’t want to get tested or just don’t go to the doctor at all)
Studies can’t be relied upon or used as an arguing point when it’s not accounting for everybody. I’m sorry. It’s just not telling the whole story. And you say the statistics haven’t changed since 1980? Hahahaha I wonder why. Where do they get these “statistics”? How can you be sure they’re 100% correct? You can’t be sure, you just believe whatever you’re told.
Alot of hetero couples use condoms because they don’t want to get pregnant, not just because they think they may get infected. But gay men don’t have to worry about pregnancy, one of the only reasons a gay couple would use a condom is to protect themselves from getting infected, but if they trust each other they don’t think they need one. Or so they think… Because one may be infected without knowing it. Same thing goes for hetero couples, one may be infected without knowing it. It’s not only gay men who get and give HIV so stop using out-dated statistics… Those studies may only be accounting for the people getting regularly tested, which isn’t everybody.
So stop using statistics that haven’t changed in 30+ years! Lol open your eyes.

  • Corey W

I did. Just wanted to let you know his “facts” are a bit misleading. Statistics don’t account for everybody considering alot of people are infected and don’t even know.

  • pure_rachet

Omg. Can you take a joke???

  • Itzgoingdown

Wrong! No nation nor race has been able to EXCLUSIVELY use condoms ONLY as an effective means of LONG TERM birth control. For the N!99a Stupid this means that when

Trust is built and emotions and feeling are involved condoms are going to be used less frequently or not at all. It’s just a FACT OF LIFE. Stop believing Extreme Black Liberal LIES asking young blacks to do something that NO OTHER RACE has been able to do. They are being SET UP FOR FAILURE.

    READ!!!
    http://www.aliveandwell.org/html/risk_realities/whatever_happened.html

  • den

    Born with male chromosomes, man!!!

  • Corey W

Hahaha the title of that article has “conspiracy” in it! Hahaha it’s not a conspiracy, it’s about protecting yourself or not! Use protection, and be safe. Don’t use protection, and risk getting infected. Not too hard to understand even if you only passed 4th grade.
So it’s somebody else’s fault if a person chooses to not use protection? And if they don’t use protection it’s not their fault or their choice? It’s the “extreme black liberals”??? Cmon take some responsibility! It’s not a conspiracy theory, you just sound crazy. You probably blame all your shortcomings and failures in life on somebody else, huh? You’re a complete failure and never made it anywhere in life and you want to blame people for setting you up for failure when you did it to yourself? Wow I feel bad for you – everybody needs to take responsibility for their own lives.
You think everybody is “against the black man”? Haha OMG, It’s not about “setting up young blacks for failure”, people just make that up to feel better about themselves when they fail, just blame somebody else. It’s strictly about protecting yourself and you’ll be safe. It’s not a choice somebody else makes for you, You make that choice!!!! So why blame other people?? Don’t want to take responsibility for your own personal decisions??
Either you protect yourself or you don’t, period. You can be smart or stupid. BE SMART AND USE PROTECTION and then you won’t have to blame everybody else like a whiny little kid.
Condoms work pretty well, IF YOU USE THEM. Hahaha.
If you don’t, you can’t blame the media or extreme black liberals… You can only blame yourself for making a personal decision to not use protection and risk getting infected.
Just because the world is getting more sexualized from commercials to movies to advertisements and music – the world is not to blame for your own personal decisions you make behind closed doors lol. If you’re a failure, you could’ve done something different, instead of blaming other people after the fact. It’s up to you to protect yourself, it’s nobody else’s fault.
If only it was possible that everybody could just take responsibility for their own actions (what responsible mature adults do) instead of just blaming everybody else (what immature irresponsible adults do) but sadly that’s not the case.
You think young black males are being set-up because they’re expected to use condoms and protect themselves? If they were taught condoms didn’t help or were ineffective, then yes they would be getting “set up for failure” and I would agree with you. But not if they’re expected to protect themselves and make the personal decision to use protection as opposed to risking getting infected. Be smart or stupid, use protection or don’t – BUT DONT BLAME OTHER PEOPLE. You’ll never make it anywhere in life doing that.

  • Corey W

Haha you get roasted and then just call me names? Hahaha you really are ignorant…

  • Corey W

Terrible joke. Don’t become a comedian, you’ll fail miserably.

  • Corey W

This may be news to you but some people are born with the wrong chromosomes, did you know that? And some people are born with both sets of chromosomes? Did you know that?
Do some research and open your eyes! Some men are masculine and some are feminine. Some women are masculine, and some are feminine. Everybody has their own level of estrogen and testosterone. If a woman ups her testosterone levels, she’ll start inheriting the traits of a man. If a man ups his estrogen levels, he’ll start inheriting the traits of a woman. Gender is not black and white, A or B.
    Gender is fluid.
    Please don’t be closed-minded.

  • den

Sound like u are trying , begging to be a woman . Iam an RN…so yeah I took my science classes in college seriously. It’s still a man

  • Corey W

You’re a nurse? And you are under the impression that science classes tell us EVERYTHING we need to know about gender? Science class taught you about chromosomes but did they teach you about how some people are born with wrong/both sets of chromosomes? Or did they skip that part?
