Tameka “Tiny” Cottle responds to her husband, Tip “T.I.” Harris casually calling their marriage “a distraction”.

“That doesn’t make sense,” Tameka told Essence magazine’s Yes Girl podcast. Of course it doesn’t make sense. It’s reality TV. Nothing in reality TV makes sense except the money.

T.I. isn’t going anywhere, and the new season of their popular reality TV show T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle is currently airing on VH1.

Fans are skeptical that the couple’s problems are scripted for their reality TV show. Maybe it is scripted. Who cares? As long as the checks keep rolling in so T.I. can feed his extended family.

The ratings for the season opener of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle bested the show’s ratings over the last 4 years.

“And I’m like, ‘That doesn’t make sense…That’s a cop out, pretty much. Like you’re too old for that. A distraction?! Boy, you’ve been married for seven years going on now, and you’ve been in this relationship for 15 years now. Okay?”

“I don’t see much of a difference from being married from when we wasn’t married. What changed so much?”

“We still talk all the time. We’re still together all the time. I don’t know… it’s a crazy thing. But, we definitely had it out about that. On the show you’ll see more about it.”
