Bishop Eddie Long is dead but his financial troubles aren’t over. The AJC.com reports that the Department of Treasury-IRS filed a tax lien on the late preacher and his wife Vanessa Long.

The IRS is seeking a sum of $335,216.34 for taxes owed plus interest and penalties.

Long, who was pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church outside Atlanta, died of cancer in January.

The document said that taxes (including interest and penalties) have been assessed against the Longs.

“We have made a demand for payment for this liability, but it remains unpaid,” according to filing. “Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes, and additional penalties, interests and cost that may accrue.”
