Amber Rose

Socialite Amber Rose is being sued by her ex-husband’s mother for calling her an unfit grandmother, among other things.

Katie Wimbush-Polk filed the lawsuit in a Washington County Court naming Amber Rose Levonchuck as the defendant.

Rose allegedly accused Wiz’s mom of causing the death of her other son, Dorien “Lala” Thomaz, who died earlier this year.

According to the Washington Observer, Rose allegedly made the statement during a profanity-laced phone call to a third party.

Rose, a resident of Tarzana, Calif., reportedly called a cell phone linked to WImbush-Polk’s account on June 19.

The person who had the phone was Danesa Letic, a friend and former employee of Wimbush-Polk, who was in Louisiana, according to court documents.

Letic’s 5-year-old niece answered the phone and Rose immediately “launched into a profane attack.”

The niece handed the phone over to Letic and, according to court documents, even after she was told she was speaking to a 3rd party, Rose allegedly said Wimbush-Polk had allowed her own child, Dorien, to die and she was unfit to visit or care for Rose’s and Khalifa’s 4-year-old son, Sebastian.

Thomaz, 32, who identified as a male-to-transgender, died of cancer in February. Some suggest he died of AIDS-related lymphoma.

Rose was reportedly upset because Wimbush-Polk filed a complaint with the California child welfare services, which reportedly performed a welfare check at Rose’s home on June 19.

In her lawsuit, Wimbush-Polk alleged that Rose defamed her by making malicious statements that “tended to harm” her reputation.

Wimbush-Polk is seeking $50,000 in damages, including court costs, interest, punitive and other damages.
