Marsha Glover

Marsha Glover, wife of local entrepreneur Ryan Glover (ex-husband of Tameka Foster), is making a name for herself with her new lifestyle blog, MarshaGlover.com.

Marsha Glover

Marsha is known to her thousands of social media followers as a working mom and fashionista with a flair for fashion and personal style.

Marsha is a registered nurse who took a $30K annual pay cut to move to Atlanta with her daughter.

Atlanta has a reputation as the land of milk and honey for strong-willed, intelligent women in search of a baller.

On her blog, Marsha writes that she made "the sacrifice of the 'fabulous' lifestyle in NYC in search of green pastures for my daughter."

She met the man of her dreams, Ryan Glover, during a chance meeting at a party at the Louis Vuitton store in Lenox Mall.

The couple soon blended their families and Marsha became stepmother to Ryan's two sons by Tameka Foster. Marsha bore two more children for Ryan.

Marsha is the newest client of friend of the blog Angela Watts.

Four years later, she met her current husband, Ryan Glover and her family quickly grew from a family of two to a blended family of six.

After 15 years in the health industry, Marsha decided to follow her own heart and pursue her passion for fashion by accepting a leadership position at a major luxury retail store. She held the position for three years before transitioning into her current role as a #mompreneur.

    Good morning Roses!

  • unknown user

Does her husband lay tile for living? ?

  • the guest

I support black women in their business endeavors. Unfortunately, it is black people who largely do not support and destroy the vision of other black people.

  • tintin

i know Tameka must live with regret.

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

i got nothing. beautiful family. the children look happy.
not gonna shade this Sister for wanting better/best for herself and her child. I see no mention of her being a home wrecker, so I suppose this dude was free & single when they met. live and let live I guess... https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/9c5524b933f3a29872256af8b9d30b4c9ec5914b980fdc0a0817cbbe688aa153.gif

Read the post again. Ryan had two sons with Tameka. Ryan had custody of the boys.

  • Renee26

Lol that was the pay cut she took...which is ok considering the difference in the cost of living in GA versus NYC...her lifestyle more than likely wasn't affected

  • MookieFly

Do RNs get paid nicely in NY? Real question

  • Moon Lee

    Beauty,and Brains. FIERCE!?

  • Renee26

It may just be me but I have no desire to follow the blogs of people talking about their lifestyles and showing off materialistic things...the gossip blogs are merely entertaining

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

I think they mean she took a 30k pay cut when she moved to ATL... cost of living in NYC is off the charts compared to ATL

  • Coy little wink

I like the back out side boob look...my DDs won't let me be great tho ?

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

*hums softly and sways* "you are not alone..."

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

right. that's her thing and I'm not mad (but I'm just not that interested either. heck, I don't even follow my own friends & family on social media, Lol!)

  • Seek Truth Speak Truth

Yawn, another fashion blogger. Fashion is overrated.

  • You Could Never

This was written by Marsha's folks I think. But yes. I think that is what it indeed implied. It read real, extra, awkward like though.

Marsha if you are reading, I am available to write press releases for you.

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

I love fashion (I'm not good at it, but I love it) ROFL!!!!!!!!

  • Nauje

? So freakin true. I'm a DDD which is equivalent to an E #FML ?

  • Dr. P

Very nicely, but the cost of living, tiny grossly overpriced apartments and traffic will make you stay put lol

  • Solstice

Girl bye!! Lmao. Try working with these A's ? Girl my boobs serve up nothing but starvation ?

  • southern

I took a fashion quiz and it said my style was classic with a twist. I was like what the hell does that even mean. I'll take a perfectly good outfit and put on some ridiculous shit that don't go with it or what.

  • DaughterOfaQueen

Sandra Rose shade at it's finest??...cute family tho!

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

    Lol...
nah, that just means you take a classic and put your own unique touch to it to reflect your personality. you got flair Shug, Lol!

  • Solstice

    HEY!!!! Good AM ?

  • http://ivyleaguelove.tumblr.com/ Applebootay

I honestly just googled the best washable pants for work because I just spent $60 on a pair of pants (relaxed straight stretch twill) I ordered online that shrunk and faded after one wash (in cold water with Woolite, gentle cycle, hung dry) and was covered in lint after only one wash!! I'm pissed! So if this blog isn't practical and realistic for the "everyday" working class woman and fit into my minimalist lifestyle and my summer wardrobe capsule.......I ain't interest....NEXT...I live in REALITY.... https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/0e388a333f03884541792c4289ee20a6c3556890ff4ce7179fdfe878fbd629ee.jpg

  • JerseyMom

Cute family. I wish her well in her new endeavor.

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

get you some Macy's 'Alfani' pieces. set cycle on handwash and use a little woolite dark... you in there like swimwear.

  • Mama Dee’s Wig Maker

Old Navy, H & M, ASOS and Target has great pieces for work. Most of their clothes do well in the washer.

  • Solstice

Girl, send those pants right back. And if asked, state "poor quality". $60 for a pair of pants that you can only get one use out of is a rip off and ridiculous. ?

  • Lorenzo Chaps

Deep sigh. Good luck though. It's not what's being sold, but who's selling it that's most important. You can offer the best product or service, but it doesn't mean someone will buy from you. It's hard work, hence my deep sigh, to start any business. So yeah, good luck with your blog.

  • Rayne

This is just another way the wealthy shows off. Like the twittah and instant gram. I'm the working poor so I can't relate. Wish I could dress rest and vacation. But THE MAN already said no. ?

  • HIS4EVA

who that brother in the background tho?

  • Ni Ni

She's pretty and smart too. I went over to that link and i only seen 10 items which included bodysuits and a kimono ?.

I used to draw clothes a little myself back in the day.Now that i have a little time, I am looking around to find a sewing class. Maybe i can start making my own clothes. I sucked at it in home ec, but who knows. Maybe I'll pick it up this time around.

  • Felicia Kelley

I wanna take a sewing class as well

  • Ni Ni

The classes I've seen in my area are offered at 10 am. Im gonna call around the fabric stores though. They normally offer them.

  • You Could Never

    Some dude...with his lady.

  • You Could Never

    Extra grown

  • Yetunde

I started making my own clothes a few years ago. I took some classes to get started, but then found a lot of helpful tutorials online. I also found this book very useful
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Freehand-Fashion-Wardrobe-Patterns-Required/dp/1910496146/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1502899762&sr=1-1

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

girl yearsssssss ago me and my baby sister call ourselves learning to sew. took nan class, just bought the 'singer' sewing book and a rack of patterns. I 'made' a dress, wore it to work... and just as I stepped off the bus in front of my bulding that evening, I bust a seam right at the hip, Lol! (and I was a stacked size 6 at the time, so you KNOW I'm not about to step out in any of my own creations now) LOL!!!

  • MookieFly

Oh I see. Yea buck that noise. I will keep my not so glamorous grossly underpriced dwelling and all my check lol

  • Platoon

    All vanity

  • Platoon

    Exactly. All vanity

  • Ni Ni

Cool, im gonna have to check it out. Do you crochet too?

  • HIS4EVA

    stop being mean!

  • Yetunde

No, I haven't tried crochet yet.

  • http://ivyleaguelove.tumblr.com/ Applebootay

I was so mad this morning because besides the fading and the lint, they fit and look good...I stared at them for a long time because I was going to beat them down with the lint roller but I just the don't have that kind of time and its the stuck on lint. I know its the pants because I have a brand new washer and washed them in a small load like colors...I really hate the hassle in returning things I buy online...maybe they'll give me a credit because I did submit a complaint.

  • Ni Ni

Lmao, at least you made it, go head Nancy Drew ??

  • Ni Ni

I want to try that to...maybe a little shrug.

  • http://ivyleaguelove.tumblr.com/ Applebootay

Thanks for the tips! I have the NY & Co, Express, Loft, Nordstrom's rack and Talbots websites open on my computer as we speak.. ...they can be expensive but a good deal when you catch the sales.

  • http://ivyleaguelove.tumblr.com/ Applebootay

Yes, I'm familiar with the Alfani pieces...thanks!

  • Luv Pitties

I tried my hand in it and would like to start again but can't seem to grasp the crocheting on the chain

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

that learnt me... I only do pillow covers now, Lol!

  • Luv Pitties

    Lmao!

  • Solstice

Yes. They might send you a shipping label for free returns. Depending on where you ordered it, they may also give you a full refund. But I would definitely reach out to them. ?

  • Renee26

Depends on the area they choose to focus on...they can take that degree anywhere and make a decent living. My friends who are RN's have moved out of state and prospered

  • You Could Never

    I..okay?

  • Harley

All these fashion bloggers are ANNOYING NARCISSIST.........

  • Harley

    THANK YOU!

She has the cutest shape ever! Love her style, it's very classic. Good luck to her on her new venture! xoxo

  • free

she said she had a 3-bedroom with a live-in nanny.

  • hottlanta

Alfani YES!!!!!!!! My gurl I knew we had something in common. I got a bad azz blue walk Calvin Klein coat for the fall regular $150.00 for $40.00 bucks. I got to the cashier and she closed it down to go get her one. I am getting turtlenecks regular $50.00 on sale for $5.00. I get summer clothes in the winter time and winter clothes in the summertime. I miss Macy's Jennifer Moore collection. They wear well.

  • hottlanta

NY & Co. dba Lerner's Eva Mendez collection is the business. Her style goes fast at BlackCrest Mall. I don't buy online with the stuff I get on sale in person.

  • You Could Never

There are fashion bloggers (plural) who are ACTIVE long time participants here. One is actually up top wishing her FELLOW blogger Marsha Glover the best. That doesnt seem like an annoying narcissist to me. However---Keep doing you tho.

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

well do it then Boo! you sounding like a professional shopper, LOL!!!!
you doing it the right way though.... you gone kill 'em when the fall weather sets in, Lol!

  • interestingconcept1

"The Fashion Blogger" Please GO Away. Serves NO purpose.

  • hottlanta

No matter the weather I am fly. I still have classic pieces in my closet that is over 10 years old. I put on a dress that I got from Casual Corner with the back tag. I was like dayum how old are you. The clothes they make now doesn't last long. I buy reversible pieces I can dress up/down and wear with other pieces. Then I like to mix colors that folks think that don't go together but when you wear it, it works, I think outside the box and I am ole school wear gloves to match my outfits and women go nuts.

  • Mama Dee’s Wig Maker

You're welcome and you're right about Express and NY & Co. They have good pieces. I still have a dress and a skirt that I still rock at work from The Loft. I try to buy from all those stores when I catch a sale.

  • Nancy Drew-Natural & Luv’n It!

see, you obviously have an 'eye' for putting together outfits in a creative AND successful way. I don't have that 'eye' but I truly admire it in other Sisters (and tell them so when I see it).
(and, yes, I used to love casual corner when I wore dresses everyday. they had some crute affordable pieces)

  • Harley

I always do MY thing and the VAST majority of fashion bloggers ARE narcissist.... Materialistic Narcissist.....There are a handful who are not shoving high end brands in our faces but MOST are. I have been following many long enough. I remember when Rumi of Fashion Toast and Susie Bubble first began their blogs and the fashion blogging game HAS changed...

  • Coy little wink

I just caught a great sale at N.Y. & co....buy 1 get 3 free...I was in person and I never go in there I was impressed! Really cute stuff...

  • Chocolate Bliss

My sister is one in NY and she took a pay cut to work for the city. She still gets paid close to 200,00.00 a year, and she owns a beautiful home in brooklyn. She's been a nurse since 92 though

  • shelly

Just because you like expensive clothes does not make you a fashion blogger.

  • free

She was less than 10 years in. I'm trying to see what my second career might be if they rolling like that.

  • Lisa daniels

Do you know her? Tea please?

  • Lisa daniels

Yep, trying to pay Peter with Paul money and hope Peaches don't come looking for her cut too.

  • Li

I am so sick of this overflowing "fashion blogger" occupation. Just google fashion blogger and you get 100 pages. It's overdone. They should all just call it a "hobby" and not a business, because IMO they're not all making money from it.
I'm also sick of celebrities endorsing TV commercials. Too much already.

  • Ni Ni

    Lol aww dont give up

  • Wyteprivilege

My lifestyle lessons came from my mother.

  • Rayne

    Sholl fawking right!

  • Lisa daniels

    We here

  • Dahl

So, she's like four degrees of separation from an actual celebrity (Usher). Was that included to give her credibility?

  • iAmsterdam
