Quantasia Sharpton, who lives in Brooklyn, NY, expressed a desire to attend Amber’s Slut Walk on Instagram.com. Amber replied to her post, saying she didn’t care if the 21-year-old was telling the truth or not. Amber, who never misses an opportunity to draw attention to herself, responded on Instagram.com:

“Whether she’s telling the truth or not it doesn’t matter and that is none of my concern. Only two people know the truth and it’s none of you commenting. I started my foundation for women that have been body shamed and slut shamed etc and she has death with both. We would love to have her come and walk with us. All is welcomed.”

Amber’s Slut Walk has not been well-received or well-attended since its inception.

Filipino makeup artist Patrick Starr angered social media users earlier this year when he wore an afro wig which he claimed was inspired by Solange Knowles. Twitter users accused him of cultural appropriation and demanded he delete the photos. “Black women are not a costume. It’s good that you are flattered by her but we are not a costume and you could have did it without the Afro,” one Twitter user wrote.
