Gabrielle Union has a new TV series lined up when Being Mary Jane ends with a 2-hour series finale next year. According to Deadline.com, Union, 44, is set to star in a Bad Boys TV spin-off -- 14 years after she played sexy Special Agent Syd Burnett in the original film.
The pilot for the new show is currently being shopped around to networks, according to Us Weekly.
The original film’s producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, has also signed on. But, so far, there is no word if the original film's stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, pictured above with Union, will also sign on.
In the meantime, Union is still busy promoting her new book, We’re Going to Need More Wine, which details her and husband Dwyane wade's kinky sex life. The revelations about the Cleveland Cavalier's sexual proclivities were so embarrassing that he asked his head coach to bench him and let JR Smith start instead.
